Always go here for the donner as it's usually proper lamb unlike most of the other kebab places, however this time round I got the processed donner meat awful soaked in grease it went in the bin, pizza I got was under cooked and cold. Last time I'll be ordering from here it's a shame was always good before this

We attended for a large retirement dinner, from the first time of booking to the end of our dinner, the staff were amazing. They let me decorate the table & carried out little extras that made it special for the guest of honour. Excellent customer service. The food was enjoyed by everyone, came out quickly, piping hot & the presentation was a work of art. We all enjoyed our night very much & the guest of honour was very happy. Good value group menu, so many choices & supplied with a great chart to complete with the guests choices, couldn't have been easier. Thank youto all the team for a great night.

Honeslty love this place! Winter or summer the atmosphere is fantastic, large outdoor seating area perfect for people watching and inside is warm and cosy. The food is fantastic my personal favourite is the prawns and salmon salad! Staff and brilliant and I will be back time and time again keep it up.

very nice food but portion sizes were tiny - the duck main was wonderful but the chicken main was quite dry - tracie tart very nice but tiny portion and very small portion of clotted cream - the service was great and staff were lovely but would not return as although we are not huge eaters and don’t like huge piles of food - these portions were small and after the meal felt hungry still! I think candles on the tables would be a nice touch.

We decided to try here after seeing the proprietor of Moor Hall (a Michelin starred chef) rave about this place. We visited on an early Friday afternoon, expecting to have missed the lunchtime rush. There were two tables available, all the rest full, and we clearly got there just in time, as there was then a queue of people awaiting to be seated. Just in time indeed! Our order was taken promptly by the waitress, and our meals appeared very quickly, piping hot and full of flavour. I went for the haddock with chips and mushy peas, my OH for the cod with chips and peas. It's incredible value for money as it is, coming with a round of buttered bread and a drink, but it genuinely is one of the best 'chippy teas' I've had, and the cost is probably cheaper than my local chippy! The flavour is brilliant. I genuinely can't see how anyone can complain for the quality of ingredients you get, for the price you're paying. If you're in the area, give it a whirl. If you're not in the area, make the trip anyway. It's very much worthwhile.

Dissatisfied with my meal, vet dry mash and the steak was also dry, no oil, grease even, no juice at all, my plate was bone dry underneath it, I had mash for a change but realised all the meals advertised with mash have gravy on them, now I realise why, told the waitress with straight dark hair but she didn't really seem interested tbh, mentioned it to her when she collected the plates as no one had asked if everything was OK after it had been served, a shame really as I have always had a decent meal there

Excellent and delicious meal! The lamp chops and salmon were both exquisite!! The waiter Salvatore was a real delight and couldn't do enough for us with complimentary handmade Cannoli filled with Lemon ricotta. We had the pleasure of seeing his dancing also. Will definitely be returning.
