Had the bar nista special breakfast. Everything was fantastic from the quality of the food, to the service received from the staff

visited for lunch today. The food was really good, lamb kofte, and prawns and dirty fries The guiness was great too and staff were very good

Cozy little place, had coffee and a teacake. Definitely recommend.

I'd imagine it would be amazing in the summertime, being sat outside at the front with a cold drink and we'll definitely be back for that! It's a lovely little bar with a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere where nothing is too much for the staff. We stayed in a room above the bar and had breakfast there the following morning, which was delicious! I had Eggs Chorizo, which essentially combined two of my favorite things.. Eggs Benedict and chorizo! On the rooms, they are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Ian, Sally and the rest of the wonderful staff.. thank you for looking after us. We'll definitely be back.

We had a fabulous Sunday roast meal. The quality of the food was superb. The service was attentive and professional. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Really impressed.

Enjoyed a really good lunch, very tasty toasted sandwich with salad & nachos, plus a bowl of chips to share. Very reasonably priced. Good atmosphere and friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely be back

Last minute and we were kindly squeezed in. Roast dinner (beef) was brilliant. Every part of it was very tasty. Really thought out. My only complaint was, I couldn't sneak into the kitchen and get more, even though I didnt need anymore! Will definitely be back!!

Great staff, always friendly & efficient. Lexi makes the best Baileys lattes, Good value and tasty food. I'm amazed by the comment that someone was shouted at. If they were inconsiderate enough to not close the door in this weather perhaps a member of staff raied their voice to be heard. I've never known anyone to be rude and we have been regulars for over 3 years.

We walked out in disgust . As presumably the joint owner (female) screamed at us for leaving the door open. This was purely accidental as we presumed it closed automatically. We had barely sat down. No way a customer should be spoken to like we were.

Food and service was excellent we were staying over for a couple of nights staff were very nice We will definitely stay there again when visiting the area

Just had a Welsh rarebit there today was not very nice on very well toasted granary bread and a tiny little bit of thin runny cheese.very disappointed.

Excellent location, friendly and prompt service and very welcoming always........for the dog too. Always a cheery atmosphere, good food and great beer....the sun is a bonus!

Booked in advance and asked for a high chair.got a call back to confirm booking etc. When we arrived, there was confusion as nobody seemed to know about our booking, placed at a table and obviously no high chair.We asked for one which had been stored outside and was full of cobwebs so needed cleaning.Drinks odd food ordered at same time, drinks arrived pretty quickly so that was OK.We only ordered 2 salad dishes so didn't expect to wait long-we did wait long and had to ask for an update.Within minutes,3 {three} salads arrived -none of which were the ones we ordered.Sent them back and 2 then arrived, one of which was again incorrect. Eventually my Chicken and Bacon salad arrived...wow...3 small slices of thinly cut chicken and less than half a rasher of bacon cut up with a bit of greenery on the plate -priced at over £10 !! Asked to pay bill as we were running out of parking and what seemed a concerned member of staff asked how the meal was...I explained all the issues which he promptly shrugged his shoulder and requested the £36..full amount.Absolute lack of interest...so why ask ?? Simple...wont be back....not recommended !!

Called in for breakfast after watching 4 in a Bed. Breakfast was excellent and could not be bettered. Service was a bit hit and miss, however it was very busy so as we had time on our hands this was not an issue. Quality of food and presentation 5 Star

Had a smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel and a flat white this morning. The bagel was very dry and stale, the egg was more like an omelette and the flat white was very weak, just tasted like watery milk, definitely not an enjoyable breakfast

Came here for food and drinks for the first time. Service was average, pretty moody and seen quite a few orders messed up. Had food and honestly was fairly poor. It was giving greasy pub vibes yet the bar itself was lovely! So expected something a little fancier. The ciabatta’s were soft, chicken was to come with mozzarella but was piled high with cheddar and the steak ciabatta was the greasiest thing ever! However the chunky chips were delightful, crispy and soft inside! Won’t be running back but worth going for just drinks.

I would leave a five star rating for the food but left a 2 star to highlight the young lady who served us. She didn’t break into a smile once. Had she have done so we would have left a nice tip !. A smile cost nothing

highly recommended by a friend, N’ista did not disappoint. From the extremely warm welcome by Ian to the cute, very clean, comfy room in the heart of the thriving village vibe of Birkdale, all was outstanding.

Excellent venue, atmospheric and the staff are so lovely. We arranged an early check in with no problems at all. The owner was very helpful. We stayed on a Sunday night and the bar was buzzing until about 11pm. The room was lovely and clean. The shower was really good and we had everything we needed. Room had blackout blinds and curtains. Fantastic breakfast and again we received friendliness, courtesy and very good service.

I ordered two drinks and the young blonde haired staff said she would bring it over. Didn’t quote price and waved card reader at me. As I paid by contactless I got a glimpse of £ 26 roughly? I queried it and she did print a receipt off which had other drinks listed that I didn’t order. A refund was given in cash.

Had a prolonged breakfast here on Saturday morning. Food and staff lovely. Refreshing not to be 'rushed' by anyone. Thank you. I will be back. We had a proper catch up with some dear friends.

Highly recommend! We stayed here on the night of our wedding that we had at Allotment bar down the road. It was perfect walking distance to our nice comfy bed. Room was spotless with all the tea and coffee facilities for the morning! A lovely walk in shower room/bathroom. We also had a congratulations balloon waiting for us as they knew it was a special occasion. We were very touched and it just topped off a fabulous day! In the morning we then went downstairs into the bar and had a gorgeous cooked breakfast! Couldn’t fault a thing! Thanks so much. Hannah and Ian

Just happened to find this café on Google. So happy we did! Warm inviting staff, pleasant atmosphere. Good pot of tea and and a lovely toasted Bacon, Brie and cranberry sandwich with a salad, husband had coffee and garlic mushrooms on brioche with lovely chunky chips. There was a wonderful atmosphere when my friend and i had lunch here today. Most people were dining and the shredded duck and hoisin sauce toasty was tasty. The New Zealand sauvignon blanc was excellent! Staff knowledgeable about wine. Will return.

I first visited Bar N'ista in November and had a lovely lunch but found the waiting staff really unwelcoming. I thought it might have just been an off day so, I gave it another go and, once again, lovely food but the customer service was really lacking. Sorry to be harsh but the staff in every other Birkdale eatery/bar seem very different, by comparison.

Beautiful rooms in a fabulous location. This tiny gem had everything you’d need for an overnight stay. Immaculately clean and extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast the next morning was perfect and the staff and service was excellent.

Visited with a couple of friends 2 days ago. A pleasant visit with nice beer and very friendly staff. I paid contactless and didn't realise until the next day that I had probably been overcharged. I contacted them to query this and Ian the owner remedied this immediately, in fact they had already picked up on it and had credited a refund.

Popped in for a quick bite on our day off. Sat outside on a gloriously sunny day enjoying one of the best salads I've ever had eating out. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

We were out for a walk Sunday evening and decided to stop for a quick drink so a stopped in at the cafe bar nista the service was very quick even though they were full of customers and we had a few water melon 🍈 daiquiri and a passion fruit one is they were very refreshing and cooling on a hot day

Having gone to Birkdale to catch up with some old friends I was lucky enough to stay and eat at Cafe bar N’ista. What a treat. Great room at a great price and truly spoilt by the owner and his staff.

Second visit to the bar. Lots of tables outside but the service was slow and poor. No menus handed out and none of the outside serving staff had any direction in what they were doing. Running round like headless chickens. Table nearby left the restaurant...

Never been here before.Had a look round the village to see who & what was open.Called in for lunch after walking past and seeing how busy the place was, but a couple of tables were free. All staff were friendly & helpful, drinks & food were ordered and arrived sharpish. The menu has a good choice of food. The food we ordered was nice & tasty, I particularly enjoyed the chips topped with chilli. Prices were reasonable as well. Would I go again?? Yes. Would I recommend?? Yes. Big thanks to the staff.👌
