The best restaurants in Hareholme Rossendale North West

Found this restaurant through TA as we were driving home from Lancashire and looking for somewhere en route. It’s well worth the detour. Lots of small Italian plates with daily specials on a chalk board. Very good food and excellent service. Don’t be put off by the enormous ASDA across the road. This place could hold its own in any major city.

I wanna give a shout out to all the staff working at this restaurant! The level of hospitality is unmatched compared to other restaurants. All the staff members are kind, polite and open people. The food is to die for and DEFINITELY recommend 👌🏼 😋

Unusual to find a Chinese restaurant with this quality outside a big city. The owner worked in one of the best Chinese in Manchester which explains why it is so good.

Visited here recently for some breakfast. We have visited a few times before and always enjoyed our time here. But unfortunately, on our most recent visit, would mean it would be our last. We were promptly seated but had a wait some time to have our order taken, despite others entering and being seated after us. Once we ordered we had a bit of a wait for our food. When it arrived we had to send one of the meals back as the salmon we were served had massive black spots on it. We questioned it, only for it to be sent back to us with a different server who spoke to us in a passive aggressive way. They told us it was normal to serve salmon with black spots. I've never been served salmon with black spots.

Superb fish and chips from Tony's fresh fish bar, freshly cooked by Tony as you wait, what lovely friendly service in this chip shop, if in the area again we will will not hesitate to return again, we have yet to taste the steak pies we also bought but have no doubt they will be equally as good.

Popped in here as other places busy. Very surprised at both the quality of the breakfast, the flexibility with substitutions (I swapped tomatoes for fried bread) and the value. One really nice touch was to be offered marmalade or jam for my leftover toast. Food was piping hot, cooked well and high quality. Can’t fault this place. I’ll be back.

Food was cold. Ordered a lamb tikka madras and whilst the sauce was nice, only 2 pieces of meat were edible. Rest was gristle. Shame

What a fantastic gem of a restaurant. Mix of Spanish and Italian cuisine in a tapas format. Love pulpo and they did a great job with it!
