The best restaurants in Littleborough Lakeside Rochdale North West

We go to The Bridge for lunch regularly. The staff, volunteers, are all friendly and welcoming. The food is freshly made and good quality. My husband is fussy about coffee and thinks this is the best coffee in the area, including all the restaurants we are blessed with. If you are in the area you will get good service and fresh food at very low prices.

First time my partner & I have ate here, if you don’t mind paying that little bit more for good food this place is a MUST. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival till we left can’t fault this place at all. All of the staff were very attentive always making sure we had everything we needed/ wanted. Both our meals were of the highest quality, the steak was cooked to perfection & the chicken was full of flavour. Nice ambience to the place with piano bar style music playing in the background.

Visited here for Sunday lunch and the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. The staff & service remained excellent throughout. The Sunday lunch was incredible- one of the best I’ve had in a long time! The restaurant and outdoor area was very nicely designed. 5 star experience!

Just got back from having lunch for my mothers' 86th birthday. The staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and a wide choice available. The cakes were a delight and the choices suited everyone. What a lovely tea room in great surroundings with excellent food and staff. Would definitely recommend.

Nostalgic trip to see Whittaker Hamlet, a place of fond teenage memories, after a long absence, living in Surrey since 1984. Didn’t like the look of Hollingworth Lake café’s so drew the curtains and drove on to open them in thriving Littleborough at the Cherry Tree in a lovely restored historic building with local interest shop. BEST experience I’ve ever had in a café. Seriously. Cosy, ultra friendly, big all day menu. AMAZINGLY scrumptious cakes, and a perfectly cooked and presented “breakfast” (at lunchtime) assembled piece by piece to eliminate egg (allergy) by a waitress whose easy rapport and friendly humour restored my faith in humanity after living too long in the SE of the UK :). Took a doggy bag away with 4 very large scones. Unfortunately its too far to go back to propose to her. This week at least. Visited Friday 30/01/2025, 12 noon.

Now called VIEWS. It is excellent had a really nice salad lunch with the dog in the garden. Service was very good, really attentive. looking forward to going back. prices were good as portions are large.

Just been in for a curry with a couple of mates. Absolutely solid meal. Very fresh and tasty. All of us very satisfied. Will definitely be returning.
