An excellent evening with great food, cider & wine! The Staff are attentive but not overly so. The slight hiccup with one dish was sorted out quickly & without fuss, 10/10 for super customer service! Another visit with excellent food and live music! Check out the craft ales and ciders on tap.

Well worth the short walk from the town centre to this fine micro bar which is also an Untappd Verified Venue. They’ve nailed it with modern, classic cask ales - Vocation Bread & Butter, Cloudwater Happy to name just two. The beer garden with its chalets look amazing. The photos in the digital Good Beer Guide certainly do not do this bar justice.

Staff are lovely and friendly. More spacious than you realise, with fantastic outside area. And dog friendly.

Food average service very poor .booked a hut for special birthday staff to busy speaking to bar flies waited 45 minutes for the food .

This place is only tiny however what they lack in space they make up with a great beer selection, great food and bar snacks. If you enjoy real ale this place is worth a visit! If you can sit in the bar area i recomend getting some table snacks to go with your beers. They make some great scratchings! Certanily a hidden gem in Littleborough

Visited Saturday afternoon, place is difficult to find tucked behind another building and entrance is in corner of yard. There was only 2 other people in, who sat in middle of room blocking way to bar. As a real ale drinker I ordered a Vocation beer which are normally very nice, my suspicions were raised when I noticed there was no handpumps and the beer came out of tap. It was one of the worst beers I've ever had, too fizzy and too cold, just didn't taste right at all. It might be OK if you drink cocktails and have some food, but as a real ale drinker stay well clear.

Lovely little place, once we found it tucked away off the road. Breakfast was lovely, plenty on the plate and all quality ingredients. However the 50 minute wait and the fact the place was really cold was a bit off putting. Would deffo go again though if in the area but would probably ring the order through first 🤣

Great little pub. Cosy and good for it, but they have cabins you can book. How good is that? Loved it.

What a little gem, great atmosphere, quirky place, outdoor cabins are fab, staff are so nice and helpful, last but not least the food, soooooo good. Will definitely visit again. Chicken wraps and wedges, vegan meat and potatoe pie mash peas and gravy, rag pudding all delicious.

Great little pub love it . Log fie and cosy .The food was amazing definitely will be returning to this little gem .

Breakfast was delightful and has real charm despite its location. Real old world feel and a great selection of ales (that I sadly didn't try)

Sunday 10th September 2023 This great little micropub is next to Littleborough Cricket Club This brilliant friendly wee place has an ambuance to it today. 4 draught ales on and staff very good This is one of Littleboroughs best real ale pubs 5 stars deffo and all real ale drinkers should use this grand little gem when in Littleborough

Nice enough, and the beer garden is fairly unique with some cute items here, and there planted outside. Service was fine too — I was treated politely

Great venue - we had one of the cabins. Good food - the houmous was delicious. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Will be back.

A hidden Gem. Service was so friendly, food was brilliant. Reasonably priced too. Perfect place to bask in the sun or even get cosy in one of the cabins. If you've got kids with you (no kids menu) order the mini calzone - mine loved them!

This place it is hard to see from the road and really small so I passed 2 times till finally found it. Small and cozy place but also one of the few options around.

Fabulous Family/Dog Friendly Gastro Pub Had lunch abs drinks with my family today outside on one of the little huts. Great venue, amazing staff and lovely food. Service was second to none. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back. Thank You

Small bar, small venue, not enough room to swing a cat around once there are 20/25 people inside. Staff are friendly and the pub is trendy. If you don't like people to be sat on top of you, this isn't the place for you. The price of a pint is £1:50 pp, which is way over the top at nearly £5 per pint when compared to Hare & Hounds Pub in Wardle at £3:50 pp by at This Pub is a card only payment with no option to pay by cash. Is this a question of trust ?

Myself and my partner visited here on a Saturday night and were seated in a booth outside which was nice, but cold and without working heating. I being a veggie ordered a mini sliced calzone for starter which tasted nice but was quite chewy and also hard, felt like it'd been reheated. We were told that someone would take our food orders in 5 to 10 mins. 20 mins passed and I gave up waiting and went and found them to place my order instead. For my main I went for a veggie meat and potatoe pie with gravy, which was listed on the menu as being veggie/vegan. It wasn't still about half an hour after ordering it, I was approached by the waitress to say the gravy wasn't veggie friendly... Not that they'd ran out of veggie gravy, simply that it wasn't a veggie friendly gravy fully stop... Quite odd given it was a veggie meal. The staff, while friendly enough, did seem a bit clueless though. Wouldn't recommend or go again.

The food is divine. The atmosphere is cosy in the cabins where we ate but because you are out of the way, the staff can sometime forget you. Apparently, their kitchen isn't very big and so the food can't all be cooked together. It's understandable, as it's a small place and again, the food is divine. I REALLY enjoyed the food.

Staff are spot on Did not eat but Cleggy did and said the cheese pie was excellent Cheese 🤔👍

Excellent food and the staff were really attentive.

Had our daughters 21st birthday gathering here. We had the 3 pods outside. Food, drinks and staff were brilliant. A perfect night all round.

Really nice little pub. Great beers on offer. Not expensive for them. £3.50 a pint for a really tasty beer. Plus they have outside log cabins to stop rain getting in your beer.

Unusually for a modern microbar, it lacks any atmosphere. Range of beers for this type of outlet largely disappointing.

Me and my family had an unexpected treat visiting this fabulous venue. it’s a diamond in the rough ! The food was beyond spectacular and with the added bonus of enjoying our food in the quirky and very tasteful outdoor cabins each of which is bespoke and incredibly cosy. Can not recommend this venue enough!!

Reserved a cabin for a friend's birthday. Comfortable, warm and cosy. Great food and a wide selection of beers. Friendly bar staff.

A little gem hidden away. Guest ales cosy nooks, crannies and outdoor sheds to while away your time. Beauty of a place. With fantastic food too. Book early though.

I love to go the hare on the hill. Last night was fantastic I went there for a birthday drink. And some people over heard me say it was my birthday so they all song happy birthday to me and lads that started bought me a drink and a shoot. And was a surprise that made my night even more better I love that pub can't get any better. It a lovely little pub hidden away and I like pub like this. I won't be drinking anywhere else now.🍺🥃🧔🏻

Loud , lacking atmosphere, good beer ruined by inexperienced staff.

The sheds outside are brilliant, you can drink and dine in relative privacy. All the staff that we dealt with were polite and attentive, despite the bar being very busy.

Some really nice grub here! Some of it was just ok. Really nice staff. The only issue I have is that it doesn't have a comfortable separation between being a rowdy pub and a restaurant. People were being extremely jolly and loud to the point of hurting my ears which is fine for a pub, but with the level of food being presented; it just feels a bit odd. I would recommend the food.

Quaint little place, great garden set up well worth a visit

Emailed ahead to ask if there were highchairs. No response. Thought we'd go anyway as good reviews. Asked on arrival and told quite rudely... yeh, we're not child friendly. Not every pub is child friendly, that's fine but I did email in advance. Poor service and slow, the barwoman just left the pub at one point...The food was tiny portions with some food burnt to a crisp. How can you serve burnt black grilled cheese for £7.50!? A decent selection of beers but would not recommend for food at all.

Great little pub, it had a great range of craft ales, the food is really nice also, never disappointed. They also have 3 huts outside that are private which you can reserve. I can't wait to try these in winter

Went here with my friend Saturday night, we'd booked a hut through the website and also on facebook messenger however when we got there we were told it hadn't been booked correctly and huts were only for parties larger than 2 so we shouldn't have had it to begin with. There were no more tables outside available. After a bit of looking through the system etc we were informed it had been sorted and we had the hut and it was available to us all night. We were also offered a free round of drinks as apology. We asked for a glass of prosecco each and the manager kindly offered to just give us a whole bottle to share. It was handled really really well and we loved the little hut- we will come back (with our partners!) in winter time as they'd be so cosy. We also had a small charcuterie board to share which was gorgeous. Thank you!

The place was very clean and it was a pleasant experience being in there. Could do with a slightly bigger menu in my opinion. What is on there was very well cooked though.

Quaint and cosy pub with a lovely unconventional tapas menu of breads, meats and vegetables. The baby potatoes with nduja are a must! Reasonably priced and extremely friendly staff.

Very,very disappointed.sat outdoors waiting forever to be served when the waiter walked past us to serve 4 regulars who had just come in.we tried to say that we were waiting but he ignored us(how rude!!)

Quirky and well tucked away micro pub. Worth taking the effort to find as you will be rewarded with a good selection of fine cask and keg ales and a selection of tapas food to share with it. Unusual family cabins in the small beer garden just add to the uniqueness of this establishment.

Great little pub tucked away in the heart of Littleborough. If you like craft beer (and cider), you'll love it here! The beer choices are always spot on and the beer is kept and pours really well. The food is my area of contention with this place. It's great quality and interesting and ever changing (part of the problem when you have something you really like and then it's not there anymore) but it can't quite decide what it wants to be. Personally, I loved the pie, scotch eggs, pork crackling et al bar snacks they came back with after lock down. I felt it complimented the beer and atmosphere really well. Great quality, hearty food with super beer to match. One to watch food-wise but I wholeheartedly recommend it for the beer alone.

Very tight on space. Friendly staff. 'Cosy' is a very generous word for the interior. Shared car park. Not the best place really. Interior is amiable.

Very small with a lot more opportunities to stand up rather than sit down.
