I think it's time the owners started calling the police when this happens. The male landlord is such a friendly fellow and it is awful to see his good nature taken advantage of. I've been going to this pub for 40 odd years, but I've been put off going as despite nice food, there is no lower calorie and fat options, the salad only and that comes with chips and the grilled salmon is spiced. I would previously order a lighter bite steak with new potatoes instead of chips as is the option on many other meals, but last time i went the landlady who stalks about the tables, looks at me strangely told me I couldn't do this any more with no reasoning why. I felt very uncomfortable. She was nice before then just turned. I wouldn't like to ask for an editing of my meals as with most restaurants such as my salmon cooked a certain way without sauce etc maybe it's pre done rather than fresh?

New to the area and they was so lovely to me and my husband, the food was fantastic can't fault it and the service was fantastic too, my new favourite takeaway
