Absolutely fantastic. My husband had a breakfast which had, as he put it, proper sausage and bacon and perfectly cooked eggs. I had a taste sensation in frangipane crumpets with an orange sauce and almonds. They were amazing. The staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Proper tea with tea leaves too. A gem of a find while visiting from overseas. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you Rec Room for a fab breakfast experience. Ps can't add photos we were too busy enjoying our food to take any.

Discovered the Hidden Garden over a year ago now and itâs one of my favourite places to go. Great coffee (no additional charges for milk alternatives), beautiful views and dog friendly! The little treats they serve your dog are an added bonus (no charge either!) my pooch loves a visit. We have been in all weathers, although most of the seating area is outside there are some wonderful covered nooks to curl up with blankets galore and even a pizza stove burning logs to keep you warm in the winter. The cakes and food are delicious and the additional pop up food stalls they host are brilliant. Highly recommend for a cosy catch up away from the high street bustle.

What happened? đ˘ Canât use the upper floors anymore???? We love this place & have been coming every week since it opened (when it used to be Java) Good food, staff & service, and because itâs one of the only âdog freeâ places to eat inside, in SaddleworthâŚ.oops yes we dared to mention the dreaded D word! & no not dog haters-just concerned about hygiene when dining. Since the refurbishment the seating is very cramped - you canât sit in comfort or have a private conversation. We recently found out we can no longer go upstairs unless weâve got a laptop⌠imagine a whole floor for 3 or 4 laptop users!!! (we loved the top floor) on one occasion when we had mistakenly made our way upstairs for breakfastâŚa member of staff said we could stay there but we needed to use the app (sorry what??) We decided against it & went to the middle floor instead but told this was closed too because they couldnât cope with any food orders upstairs when it was busy downstairs. We headed to the ground floor & there were 3 vacant tables but they were all reserved!!! We reluctantly left for the 3rd time in 2 weeks! so disappointing⌠hopefully weâll have a better experience next timeđ

Visited the wagon on the 18th of May 25 about 3 30 it was very busy We took our little dog in as well The staff were really nice and the service was spot-on the meal was absolutely delicious and something Iâve never had before which I thought was delicious. I had the Sunday lunch and they brought the cauliflower and broccoli in a cheese sauce and they put a little bit of nutmeg on it and it was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly thoroughly recommended. Will definitely be going back.

Came for a birthday celebration and were seated. But we waited and waited and waited. Nobody came to even ask if we would like a drink. A waiter finally decided to come with menus after about 25 minutes. Service was extremely slow throughout. The waitress who asked if we would like the dessert menus had scruffy chipped nails which looked awful. It was like being sat in a freezer. The whole experience was dissapointing.
