The best restaurants in City Centre Manchester North West

Have been meaning to try Maray for absolutely ages - the food always looks incredible on Instagram - and it didn't disappoint. Everything was super flavourful. The mezze sharer was delicious - recommend you order bread with this. We ordered the mezze sharer and the five plates to share but we probably should have ordered four - five was just slightly too much. Will definitely be back.

The food hygiene rating is 2 yet it says 5 on the window‼️ literally illegal. food was just okay too. even at 50% off, those ribs were not worth the money. nice vibe inside and the curry was decent though 😄

Don't go here if you have allergies. I am celiac and asked the staff several times if the flafels had wheat. They assured me it didn't. I had gotten pain in my stomach, so I went in the next day and asked what was in it. I got the ingredients box shoved in my face. The powder they put in has wheat starch. Rather than apologising to me, they were condescending and kept saying that I ate it yesterday.

We had a truly wonderful dining experience at Home Chinese Restaurant! Even though we didn’t have a reservation, we were lucky to be seated quickly. When we asked for a highchair, the staff immediately brought one for our little one. While we were looking at the menu, our toddler accidentally broke a ceramic chopstick holder. The staff were incredibly kind and patient — not only did they not blame us, they even thoughtfully switched to plastic kids’ utensils for our child afterward. Their attentiveness really warmed our hearts. We ordered the roast duck, stir-fried napa cabbage, seafood soup, and egg fried rice — all of them were absolutely delicious, especially the duck, which was crispy on the outside and tender inside. This is a place we will definitely return to. Highly recommend!

Service to write home about! For the wrong reasons... Ordered 2 drinks and two open sandwiches. Drinks to 27mins to arrive. Coffee was like warm. Sandwiches took 37mins, and as one was completely wrong, it was replaced. This too 45mins. To put something on a piece of toast. Why like this? For a cafe at this location, there is an irony that they need more staff!!! Would I come back? Not a chance.

We were staying nearby and came for steaks. Absolutely amazing, good quality meat and nice portions. Service was great, friendly and personal. The macaroni cheese is the best I ever had and well worth the trip up to Manchester.

The sushi is so good any other place is horrible compared to this place and I loved the steak. The show that you can get is rlly fun and interactive

I have no idea where the 5 star ratings come from! The food was spicy but just bland. The service was ok but effectively you had to go to the bar for every drink or additional food. There was four of us and we ordered a combo for four yet the items as pieces came in threes? Really over priced. The combo was £64 there wasn’t £5 worth of food in the total meal. Toilets were clean though. Never again.
