Sushi Marvel has been my favourite place to eat sushi for years, starting at their place in ancoats. I visited the restaurant now on Bridge Street and it's beautiful. The servers were attentive and friendly. I had a cocktail which was lovely and fresh. The food comes to the table as it's ready, cooked dishes are hot and fresh. The sushi dishes are second to none in taste, but also visually stunning and it's clear the chefs put a lot of care into the preparation. I never go anywhere else for sushi!

Exciting to see the return of Wholesome Junkies! I shared a couple of small plates with a friend: Taiwanese Beefless Rolls and Roasted Squash and Whipped Tofu. The latter? Absolutely incredible. A must-try.

I’ve stopped by Wholesome Junkies for some top vegan desserts: a Biscoff Cake and a Kinder Bueno Brownie. I love the Firefly beverages, also. There’s only a handful of tables, but you can take food away if you wish.

Shocking takeaway honestly, the chicken tikka masala was a strange yellow/green colour and tasted awful. Fairly sure this must've been a mistake but it said it on the box. The food in general was far too spicy as well, not fresh but like chilli powder.
Disappointed but I may go in to try as other reviews say it's good!
It’s not encouraging from the outside, but don’t let that put you off. Ring the bell and enter heaven for a couple of hours,
Background easy jazz music lulls you into a seat and you’re given a simple one page menu. Select your number of small plates (and add one or two more - you’ll enjoy it so much) and the waiter will deliver in the order they decide is best for maximum enjoyment.
We started with speck, some lovely pickles and not enough (is there ever?) focaccia. Then ravioli, spätzle and pierogi, all different, all deliciously moreish,
An incredibly light tiramisu accompanied by cherry schnapps finished the meal all to soon,
Can’t wait to go back,

Amazing filipino cuisine on offer. Had the chicken sisig and it was brilliant.
Plus the desserts are to die for! Had a pandam & raspberry cheesecake and it was delicious!
