B.U.N in Manchester

Me and my partner went to B.U.N a couple weeks ago and the food was incredible, great service and I would recommend to anyone.

Don't forget to check out their secret menu!

The food standards at this place are excellent, brilliant, no doubt. The brother at the counter accommodated me with space for prayer and he was respectful.

I was lured to this joint by reviews and constant queues during weekends. I wish I had ordered a burger as planned, but became a victim of the "secret menu" that's hard pitched to everyone in the queue. Chicken toastie consists of two thin slices of toast toasted with processed cheese inside. Two of these replace the bun and there's fried chicken, coleslaw and sauces inside. I did not enjoy it. Too greasy, less chicken than in a burger that's cheaper. Fries were just okay, not much better than cheapest fries from random takeaway. Paid £18 for the meal and it's cash only. Very expensive considering they avoid taxes.

Food always on point. Friendly staff. Best smashburgers in mcr. Updated review 2 years later, food is still on point got to try the chicken toastie. Would advise to go earlier on Friday Saturday evenings if in groups 5+.

Far far below expectations to be honest. Heard a lot of their loaded fries, they were okay but certainly not the level I expected. They are extremely overpriced compared to the food they serve. Overall a 2/5 experience

The food from here is disgusting I had black hairs in my food and dirt on my food tray and when I complained about the staff was swaring at me and threatened me if I could give it less stars I would . DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE OR YOU WILL FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF

Absolutely incredible food, reasonably priced. Lovely quirky food spot. The staff are so friendly and the home made cakes made by the incredible Hifsah.bakes (follow her on Instagram in you’re in the Manchester area) are just devine. Can’t wait to come again and try the rest of the menu!

Just ordered a burger and a can in total came to 14 pounds and it didn’t even come with fries. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Sat next to over filled bins, told staff, didn't care and moved dirty bags with rubbish inches near other table with people eating , portable heater on floor , looks like a construction site, food 3 out of ten

Been here a few times now, can’t help but keep coming back. Reasonably priced and such friendly service! Food is AMAZING and chicken melts in your mouth and they bring it to your car aswell if you are taking away! I advise eating here🫶🏼

Average loaded fries. Chicken is a 7/10 but the chips are awful and tasteless. Disappointed as I heard this was the ‘best loaded fries’ but I’m afraid that title goes to Mr Fries only.

Friendly staff, helpful and serving close to closing time! Cool industrial style interior which fits great for a burger joint. The food though. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. The burgers though, mouthwatering awesomeness. Would highly recommend this place to others!

Very cosy place with amazing food. We ordered items from their secret menu including the loaded which was a huge portion and really good. Order chicken strips and burgers. Everything was great, but be careful when ordering spicy items make sure to adjust level of spice.

Hands down one of the best smash burger and loaded fries I have had in Manchester. They have always been consistent and reasonably priced also. Highly recommend this place.

Food and service was impeccable. Quite possibly the best eatery in Manchester. The loaded fries and toastie were probably the best I have ever had. The smash burger and chicken burger were faultless. The chicken and waffle was amazing the spice and sweetness perfectly balanced and the portion size was very generous. A true family friendly eatery with some of the best tasting food in Manchester, highly recommended. Special shout out to the owner’s sister for providing amazing home made deserts which were the perfect end to the feast!

First tried this place a couple of years ago after watching Ali hay man review it, went again last night for the 4th time and omg it is banging! Had the usual chicken cheese toastie ( one of the best things I've eaten in my life ) double magic burger, loaded fries box and a peanut butter shake, can't put into words how good it all tasted, I've been to a few places that I've seen on YouTube being raved about and thought it was over hyped but b.u.n definitely is not one of them! Thank you for the awesome food again and good service 👍🏻 didn't get the best pictures but the taste was on point.

The chicken strips were really nice, tender and juicy. The loaded were fries were also very nice but I wished they used slightly better quality fries. We also got a single smash burger which was good but definitely worth having a double because the smash patties are very thin.

Bun honestly was a brilliant experience for not only me and my family I came here from Halifax and enjoyed everything. Not only was the food amazing the hospitality and warm welcoming environment couldn’t be topped anywhere else the food was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant the young lad was respectful and the man at the till was concise and respectful defiantly coming again

1. Only take cash - hate when that happens, they can charge £10 for a burger but hide money from the tax man?? Like they aren’t making money 2. No music ? Genuinely the best takeout in Manchester. I had the Spicy Chicken Burger, Loaded Fried and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The chicken burger was cooked to perfection, juicy, soft, and satisfying in every bite. The grilled cheese chicken sandwich was rich, cheesy, and packed with tender chicken. The loaded fries were oozing with flavours. Everything was fresh, I have not been this satisfied from a meal in a long time.

Anyone trying to upload negative or fake reviews are simply hating. There’s enough to go round the table on this planet to be more than successful and become as rich as you want without trying to instigate negatively for no reason. These are the original trend setters in what ‘they’ created, what ‘they’ produced and ‘they’ initiated, it’s unbelievable what they have achieved and accomplished. Despite any form of downfalls and others in trying to replicate, they are simply straight from the heart, genuine, respectful and all about integrity. Something that lacks massively out there and sadly being missed #realists While others may find it attractive to focus on ‘likes, reels, profit’ etc, there is something unique about B.U.N’s setup. The environment is more than friendly, yet family orientated where we feel comfortable with our families being around them. The passion in the cooking is clearly seen across the board and the humbleness by the owner, let alone the quality of the food overall. You see people below complaining about the cost of their food? wow …. yet they are most likely happy to pay a lot more for ‘cheaper quality’ ‘processed’ and ‘reheated’ food, just because it’s dressed well with a pretty background or a name (one for the gram). Appreciate there maybe a wait at times, but isn’t that the case wherever you go in a busy environment that makes it fresh? Doesn’t that tell you enough about the place? I’m sure a wise one once said ‘patience is the secret to good food’. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes that people won’t see, but the real ones will appreciate it. I can only honestly say and ‘hand on heart’ it’s the place where we go on a regular basis. The food is always to perfection and if people find it’s not for whatever reason, they are more than happy and will go above and beyond to rectify in any way. All I can say is I wish there were more genuine setups like this. It’s clear from all angles that the vision the owners have is all about good food and ensuring the public who walk through them doors are treated in the best of manner. Keep up your legacy guys, what you created, what you are doing and have achieved. The food reviewers, your loyal repeat customers etc are super proud of what you have accomplished, you clearly have the right ethics, morals and principles. Delicious and juicy burger. Amazing service as well. Strawberry lime mocktail was refreshing, but a bit pricey though. Only one downside, it’s cash only!! No free cash machine nearby.

I came here with my wife, and it was so nice. Got a burger and loaded fries. Packed with flavour, really soft chicken, and the burger seasoning was just perfect. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a really good burger at a fair price.

Solid experience, loaded fries (secret menu) are very very good. There is a lot of meat unlike some other places, and they are covered with a delicious arrangement of salad and sauces. You'll find all the right textures, and more importantly, all the right flavours. The dirty burger (also secret menu) is another piece of culinary excellence. Beautifully flavoursome chicken, perfectly cooked beef, a healthy amount of sauce, it all just works together so well. If you want, you can round it off with some spiced deep fried ice cream and you've got yourself a fantastic meal.

always get the loaded fries from bun. everytime i have ordered it, it’s satisfies the cravings without a fail!! also had to get one to takeaway and eat at home. absolutely delicious food, it is a must try!!

Been wanting to try this place for ages. Had loads fries which were very tasty. The place looks like it's still being renovated but then I realised thats how it's supposed to look! It's not to my taste. They only take cash. I got caught out as I only had my phone to pay with. It was sorted out but something to be aware of.

Visited B.U.N and tried the loaded fries, which were absolutely amazing—delicious, flavorful, and packed with toppings! I also had the smash burger, which wasn't quite to my taste, but the service from Bilal was fantastic and made the experience enjoyable. Definitely recommend the fries!
