Shocking takeaway honestly, the chicken tikka masala was a strange yellow/green colour and tasted awful. Fairly sure this must've been a mistake but it said it on the box. The food in general was far too spicy as well, not fresh but like chilli powder. Disappointed but I may go in to try as other reviews say it's good!

Great experience eating at Indian Affair. The food tastes authentic and the staff is helpful and knows their stuff. My personal favorites include butter chicken, lamb nihari, dal makhani and a tray of gol gappas (like a thorough bred delhiite). The best part about the restaurant is the experience you get. Decent portion sizes as well.

such high quality authentic food with great service. tried a selection of curries and breads and everything was amazing - i particularly loved the dahl makhani and the prawn curry. can’t wait to come back home try the biriyani!

The food was very tasty and it came well presented. My friends have thought the portions are quite small. I was disappointed when I asked staff if drinks come in the can/glass or is it draft, they stated it is a can. We have ordered coke zero and it came pre filled in the glass with loads of ice, most of it was ice rather than drink. I have really enjoyed the food and the flavours as they differ from your normal Indian food. I believe customer service was good and staff were friendly, however disappointed that they put service charge to your bill like we are in USA. We have spent £80 for all that is on the photos.

I had a wonderful experience at Indian Affair! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A special thank you to Shree, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming—she made us feel truly taken care of. Also, the waiter with long hair and a beard was fantastic as well—friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place with excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A lovely Indian. It has a smaller menu, but everything we tried was delicious. The small plates were the highlight, we shared 3 between 4 of us and both chaat dishes were my personal favourites. The staff were very friendly and genuinely engaged with us, chatting about our meal and evening. We visited during the January 25% off offer but would happily return at full price. Highly recommend booking in advance!

Indian Affair is hands down my favourite spot for Indian food in Chorlton - I come here regularly and always leave full & happy. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. My go-to order is Butter Chicken with their garlic naan and perfectly cooked pilau rice. The Lamb Nihari is another favourite - rich, tender and a great portion size! And if you love street food-style starters, the Samosa Chaat is a must-try. On top of the amazing food, the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you’re dining in or getting a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Wonderful from start to finish. I judge how good the chutneys are at the start of the meal and my mate and I devoured every of the four pots. We went for small plates, chicken tikka, lamb kebab, paneer bites and makhani chips. Every morsel was outstanding. Then went for an espresso martini afterwards and as a barman I'm quite particular about how it's done. They absolutely nailed it. Heartily recommend. No notes.

Lovely restaurant. Loved the food and has it's own separate vegan menu. I had the palak chaat to start and palak aloo as a main. Both very tasty and the right portion size. Would highly recommend. Also, the staff were really welcoming and attentive.

I ordered a large delivery for a work event and the staff were more than helpful and friendly. The food was absolutely too. The staff went above and beyond to meet my needs of cutlery, vegan, trays, timings.

We had a lovely meal here. The food was excellent. The service was equally impressive. Our daughter has a severe nut allergy but it was clear from the outset that the staff are very knowledgeable about the ingredients in their dishes. They consulted with the chef on each dish we chose and we felt very safe in ordering food for our daughter. She loved the food as well. We ordered the lamb biryani, a dhal and the butter chicken, some parathas and rotis. All five star. Would highly recommend!

Awkward waitresses that don’t understand what you are asking for & constantly hassling especially when you are trying to eat & have a conversation just distracting. Curry had a weird after taste. Not the best. Bill was very expensive.

This unassuming restaurant completely blew us away with the best Indian food I've ever tasted, even compared to Houston's diverse culinary scene. My husband and I shared a variety of dishes, each more delicious than the last: innovative gol gappe, crispy samosas, tender lamb kabobs, and rich butter chicken and daal. The pineapple margaritas and espresso martinis could easily be substituted for a dessert option. The service was attentive and exceptional! Came here on Sunday for a birthday meal spent nearly £200 and then the day after me and my family had very bad food poisoning woke up next day vomiting. Spoken to manager and he told me he doesn't do refunds and that it's not his responsibility Would not recommend this place as it's over priced for 1 and 2nd of all portions were very small. Will not be returning again!

Dear team, I will start with the good: the samosa chaat and paneer bao was decent however the portions are small. The breads: paratha, garlic naan and cheese naan were average. Malai kofta was disaster: it was potato dumplings in creamy Arabiata sauce! I sincerely hope the creator will research the taste and optimize it! I am so disappointed, for me the whole thing was not worth it!

Very expensive and not value for money 2 Sheek Kabab they gave for £9 on a Cold Plate with a slice of red onion and yogurt no value at all and the Makani Chips portion was not value for money and were only warm not hot Biryani need more sauce as the serve it with the dish in it no separate sauce experienced it but would not go again

Food was just average, we ordered a paneer lababdaar and it was nothing like lababdar. Garlic naan was also very average. I won't recommend if you like authentic Indian food.

Takes something very special for me to take the time to write a review. This was spectacular, one of, if not the, best Indians I’ve ever had. Kept a classic but cut down menu that you find in your typical Indian, but the food was done just to my heat levels and was all so fresh and not greasy at all. They certainly know what they’re doing. All the food was super tasty and hot :) they gave us some extra tikka samosas and they were amazing; whoever made them should be very proud because they wrapped them so tight!! well crafted little bites of heaven. I've finally found the best Indian food I've had in a long time. They make really good cocktails too. The dishes were absolutely amazing—so tasty and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.

I would highly recommend , my mum was born in India and will only go out for Indian food . However we have visited over 60 Indian restaurants in Manchester and my mum complains about every restaurant. Can you actually believe my mum and the rest of us love this place food was outstanding along with the service . Georgia was exceptional went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble . I rate this restaurant 10 out of 10 xx

First time dining here, amazing service, delicious food, some really cool authentic flavours and dishes. Fantastic tandoori chicken and they bring complimentary jaggery & fennel seeds with your bill, the waitress explained this is a traditional end of meal practise and helps to freshen your breath. Will definitely be returning.

Went on a Wednesday evening pretty quiet we were served drinks and selected our food,had popodum and dips which were very tasty our starters arrived which we shared together again very tasty and well presented mains came as I said absolutely fabulous all tasted amazing and fresh we had cobra beer finished off with semolina and pistachio ice-cream and a coconut martini all in all an amazing night of food and service definitely won't be long for next visit

We genuinely stumbled across this restaurant through a random Tik Tok video we had seen when searching for restaurants in Chorlton but what a stumble! The food is absolutely unreal and the service was fantastic. The tandoori prawns starter was 10/10 so tasty, definitely a stand out! We had some lovely cocktails and a lovely bottle of rose wine too and the staff were really friendly and lovely! The only thing that made us a little sad was how quiet it was inside, just wish more people knew of the great standard of the food here, would recommend to a friend over and over again

The best curry in Chorlton, maybe even the whole of Manchester! The fish pakoda and lamb rara are especially good. Great service every time as well.

Hi the service we got from Georgia was fantastic 5 star. I would say she is definitely an asset to the company. The food was really good. I would definitely recommend the Lehsuni Tandoori Prawns from starters, which was my favourite and out of this world. Papadoms and chutney try is a must. The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely and it's a very family-friendly environment. We also had Tandoori Chicken Tikka and Lamb Seekh Kabab for starters. For mains, we had Kadai Chicken and dilli Dall Makhani with Garlic nan and Roti. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, it's a bit pricey but worth it. Hope this helps.
