Came here on Sunday for a birthday meal spent nearly £200 and then the day after me and my family had very bad food poisoning woke up next day vomiting. Spoken to manager and he told me he doesn't do refunds and that it's not his responsibility Would not recommend this place as it's over priced for 1 and 2nd of all portions were very small. Will not be returning again!

Had a great experience. The best biryani I've ever had. Was very impressed when our meal was replaced free of charge after spilling my drink. Service was very attentive and welcoming for our table of 8.

Dear team, I will start with the good: the samosa chaat and paneer bao was decent however the portions are small. The breads: paratha, garlic naan and cheese naan were average. Malai kofta was disaster: it was potato dumplings in creamy Arabiata sauce! I sincerely hope the creator will research the taste and optimize it! I am so disappointed, for me the whole thing was not worth it!

Well let me tell ya what me and me chick came here an we shared a onion bhaji telling ya it was absolutely not bad we had a glass of water each. Oh it was brilliant best meal of my life an am dead dead dead old I am

Ordered a chicken tikka which is presented as a main course. It had 3 pieces! 3 pieces for £10.

Very expensive and not value for money 2 Sheek Kabab they gave for £9 on a Cold Plate with a slice of red onion and yogurt no value at all and the Makani Chips portion was not value for money and were only warm not hot Biryani need more sauce as the serve it with the dish in it no separate sauce experienced it but would not go again

Food was just average, we ordered a paneer lababdaar and it was nothing like lababdar. Garlic naan was also very average. I won't recommend if you like authentic Indian food.

Takes something very special for me to take the time to write a review. This was spectacular, one of, if not the, best Indians I’ve ever had. Kept a classic but cut down menu that you find in your typical Indian, but the food was done just to my heat levels and was all so fresh and not greasy at all. They certainly know what they’re doing. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. One of a kind

All the food was super tasty and hot :) they gave us some extra tikka samosas and they were amazing; whoever made them should be very proud because they wrapped them so tight!! well crafted little bites of heaven. Love this place :) my new favourite spot 👌 Have only ever ordered on Uber eats but will definitely be coming in person to try it out seeing as it was so good!!

I've finally found the best Indian food I've had in a long time. They make really good cocktails too. The dishes were absolutely amazing—so tasty and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.

This little gem is for the real connoisseurs. If you enjoy Indian food, you will be blown away by the superb quality and authenticity of the dishes this restaurant serves up. Everything is done fresh and in-house including the chutneys. I cannot recommend it strongly enough.

First time visit to Indian Affair. Having read the impressive reviews was really looking forward to the evening. What a fantastic experience! Lovely setting, excellent service but most of all some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten. Every dish was simply superb! Will be returning very soon!

I would highly recommend , my mum was born in India and will only go out for Indian food . However we have visited over 60 Indian restaurants in Manchester and my mum complains about every restaurant. Can you actually believe my mum and the rest of us love this place food was outstanding along with the service . Georgia was exceptional went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble . I rate this restaurant 10 out of 10 xx

We have been to several Indian restaurants in Manchester but this is by far one of the best. The service was fantastic throughout and thank you to all the staff for the absolutely amazing food. I don't understand why this place is not busier, we went on Saturday 5:30pm and it was empty, the food was excellent and really tasty. The service was brilliant, couldn't really fault it.

First time dining here, amazing service, delicious food, some really cool authentic flavours and dishes. Fantastic tandoori chicken and they bring complimentary jaggery & fennel seeds with your bill, the waitress explained this is a traditional end of meal practise and helps to freshen your breath. Will definitely be returning.

Went on a Wednesday evening pretty quiet we were served drinks and selected our food,had popodum and dips which were very tasty our starters arrived which we shared together again very tasty and well presented mains came as I said absolutely fabulous all tasted amazing and fresh we had cobra beer finished off with semolina and pistachio ice-cream and a coconut martini all in all an amazing night of food and service definitely won't be long for next visit

We genuinely stumbled across this restaurant through a random Tik Tok video we had seen when searching for restaurants in Chorlton but what a stumble! The food is absolutely unreal and the service was fantastic. The tandoori prawns starter was 10/10 so tasty, definitely a stand out! We had some lovely cocktails and a lovely bottle of rose wine too and the staff were really friendly and lovely! The only thing that made us a little sad was how quiet it was inside, just wish more people knew of the great standard of the food here, would recommend to a friend over and over again

The best curry in Chorlton, maybe even the whole of Manchester! The fish pakoda and lamb rara are especially good. Great service every time as well.

Hi the service we got from Georgia was fantastic 5 star. I would say she is definitely an asset to the company. The food was really good. I would definitely recommend the Lehsuni Tandoori Prawns from starters, which was my favourite and out of this world. Papadoms and chutney try is a must. The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely and it's a very family-friendly environment. We also had Tandoori Chicken Tikka and Lamb Seekh Kabab for starters. For mains, we had Kadai Chicken and dilli Dall Makhani with Garlic nan and Roti. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, it's a bit pricey but worth it. Hope this helps. Went to our favourite Indian restaurant on a quiet Monday night. As usual, the food was excellent and the service faultless. We have eaten there on several occasions now, and it has never failed to delight.

Tried them after reading Google reviews, quiet tonight but it is a Monday but oh my word the food is incredible. Poppadom starters are served either 4 chutneys not the usual you would expect in regular Indian restraunts all very nice. Mains we had chicken kadai and lamb rara, kadai sauce was very nice and chicken had a hint of lemon grass, lamb meat was very tender and since was beautifully seasoned with a midly punchy level of spice. Complementary desert was unrefined sugar with a recommendation of handful of fungreek seeds finished the evenings food off nicely. Highly recommended this lovely little restaurant if you want a taste of authentic Indian cooking

We booked here after being recommended and it did not disappoint! The food and service were both excellent. Lamb chops are one of the best I have ever eaten. Their cocktail list is interesting, we tried the chilli martini and ginger rum sour both were great! It was refreshing to see food being served by very passionate people. Had a lovely Friday evening at Indian Affair, will return soon.

As I have been a patient in a nearby hospital for about a month I needed to get out so thought why not go to an Indian restaurant. So I googled & found "Indian affair". What an amazing place with amazing staff. It is a wheelchair friendly place a little tight but you can manage with the help of the brilliant staff. Harsh served us & was 1 of the warmest people to be around. Always smiling & knew what he was talking about, made you feel really relaxed. Just what I needed after all that time sticking the hospital. I ordered fish panorama & lamb chops for starters & they was divine in flavour, texture & taste I mean they were delicious 😋. For main I had lamb karahi again really tasty & delicious. I will be going there regularly. You must try this place, everything I am sure is just as tasty & delicious as what I got to eat.

Had an amazing meal here on Friday with my partner. The staff were very friendly and attentive and genuinely interested in how we found the food and drinks. There’s a great range on the menu for both vegetarian and meat options. The artichokes small plate was heaven. All of the food we had was to a very high standard and the restaurant had a more classy feel despite the very reasonable prices. We had cocktails and starters but you could easily pay under £20 and leave satisfied. It’s an ideal spot for dates and family meals. We will be back here many times!

We are slowly becoming regulars here. It's a very cozy place with delicious food. It's one of the most authentic Indian restaurants in South Manchester. It is not a 'curry house'. It's a proper restaurant.
