The best restaurants in Manchester North West

Stopped in mid-afternoon for lunch at Cabana Brasilian Barbecue. Decided on the burgers, as they advertised them as a specialty. The order took a long time to get to us and they did seem a bit in a disarray. Overall, food was good, price was on the higher side of "reasonable".

Tried to go in Jan 2 2025. Staff chased us out and said it has closed for 3 months to “implement a new concept.” They have some tables in the foyer of the hotel lobby where you can order drinks and snacks. They would not say if it had the same menu. Didn’t want to sit in a foyer.

Upgraded room and breakfast ate at the bar at night it was very busy (Saturday)young man helped us get a table very friendly,food arrived quickly served by same person seemed to enjoy his job and smiling name was Bede a credit to the Clayton.Breakfast was very good with once again smiling friendly staff!!

Come and no carvery again! Pissed off with this place. Always disappointment waiting at the Barlow croft. The staff are friendly but they never have what I've made the trip for!

Cuatro de nosotros vinimos a cenar y nos encantó. Nos sentimos muy bienvenidos a su llegada. Nuestros abrigos tomados, bebida rápida en la zona del bar y luego llevado a nuestra mesa. Vinny, nos habló a través del menú y ayudó con las opciones de vino. La comida era increíble! Más tarde Daniel vino a nuestra mesa para comprobar si todo estaba bien. ¡Lo era! Es un restaurante caro, sí lo es. Pero la comida y la atención al detalle para nosotros lo justifica todo. Uno de los mejores restaurantes que hemos cenado.

Enjoyed my evening great food excellent service staff

New menu was great, so much choice! Allotment summer sandwich was lovely :) my partner got the bhaji burger and the chips with it were amazing. Dessert wise, cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding were great dessert choices - the cookie brownie was disappointing (very small and flat) Ambience is lovely, love the music playlist.

El restaurante de cilantro hizo nuestra cena de aniversario inolvidable. La comida era absolutamente increíble, y el ambiente era perfecto para una noche especial. El servicio fue atento sin ser dominante. Una visita obligada para cualquier celebración!

Increíble dim sum como siempre - particularmente me encanta el char su bau y el rey langostino masticando diversión Tenía pato crujiente también y un plato de arroz frito. ¡Un servicio muy amable también!

Got the wrong thing, got a cheese and ham toastie instead of a baguette

This is very fresh review, went in ordered through the machine. Friend got meatball marinara with no onions, extra cheese. I got chicken rotisserie with no reg cucumber but pickled. His order had onions and mine had fresh pickles as well. Kinda disappointed with that. Idk if this place in particular is allergy friendly because of all of that.

Just had breakfast with coffee and it was nice welcoming staff.

Served me raw chicken, which I brought back and made the manager aware of and her response was “would you like me to re-cook it” no apology, just would you like it re cooked.

I used to be a regular visitor at the branch in Leeds, however my last visit was very disappointing but thought I would give the Manchester branch a go. However, it appears that the poor quality and temperature of food, which they think is acceptable not only occurs in Leeds. It took a few minutes for anyone to even notice we were there waiting to be seated. Once seated we were placed directly under a speaker playing quite loud music, so I requested to be seated somewhere quieter so I could speak to my husband. We ordered 'messy cheeseburgers', when they arrived the burgers were overcooked and burnt around the edges which made them very tough. The burgers were very thin and nothing like the picture in the menu, if they had have been thicker maybe they would not have been burnt. The fries that came with the burger were barely warm, as if the plates had been left stood before being served, I had to dig lower in the tub to get a warmish chip. Although a man who appeared to be a manager passed our table several times, not once did he ask if everything was ok. However, once finished I made it my disappointed clear when the plates were collected, and the price of one burger was deducted off the bill. Suffice to say, I will not be visiting any branches of TGI's in the future.
