Croma Didsbury in Manchester

Ordered using their online service. They sent my pizza to two different shops to completed the order, cancelled it and remade it again at a different shop. Problem its all well and good that you could spend the last hour and a half remaking pizzas. I only have one lunch break during work so thank you for wasting our time when I even took the effort to order the pizza an hour in advance

It took 3 staff to take my order over phone and then they still nearly got it wrong ......staff are not trained properly and struggle with communication...

We were waiting a little while (not longer than expected) and they gave us free dips!! Thank you :)

Delivery driver completely incompetent. Wants to meet me 5 mins away for no reason. Took an extra 20mins to get here because he cant use Google maps. Food was cold. Had to stand outside my house for ages

Would never order again from them . A pizza which was not fully cooked and a garlic bread which did not taste of garlic think they forgot to add it . Waste of £34.00 even the kids did on eat so that tells you about the taste . Most when in the IN THE BIN

Absolutely shocking service. Wrong pizza made and woman at shop told us it was our fault when the correct order was on the sticker of the box?? She initially refused to change the pizza to the correct one after a going back and forth eventually said they would honour it. She literally added the toppings to the old pizza and gave it us back stone cold!! Really bad service for dominoes would not recommend for that service alone. Disappointing, go to Rudy's across the rd...they are 5 star!

Phoned to arrange a delivery of 15 pizzas to work for the following day. Placed my order over the phone and they phoned on the day of delivery to confirm everything again and take payment. All pizzas were delivered with care, on time and all hot. The VAT receipt I asked for was also delivered. Fab! Wouldn't hesitate to use again for feeding a crowd! Thank you.

I enjoy their food. They make interesting styles of pizzas but I really miss their chocolate pizza.

Recently takeaway prices have gone up and quality has gone down. You can no longer accept shoddy taste and service when they’re costing £40+ for two people. Recently every takeaway we’ve had has been shocking, delivery slow, food cold, rude drivers, forgotten sauces/orders. This dominos in dids literally never fails - always piping hot, friendly drivers, tastes amazing and hands down the best dominoes I’ve had. When we just want a solid takeaway with no risks and no nasty surprises, this place has never let us down.

Awful pizza as over done and burnt the edges . Toppings were absolutely horrible and tasted like fillings were plonked on from a tin . Expensive Also .

The pizza I ordered last Monday evening result in a week long episode of gastrointestinal intestinal problems thanks the the unhygienic practices that domino’s provide. Non stop stomach cramps, dizziness, vomiting and diarrhoea are what followed. the stomach pains became so bad at one point I contacted the GP who informed me to go to A&E for further examination. The doctor at the hospital diagnosed that I had caught gastroenteritis which should clear up after a week or so but was definitely the main reason as to why I felt the way I did. after contacting this branch and informing them of the situation.. no help was given and the person I spoke to hung up the phone call. I wouldn’t say avoid this branch but just approach with caution.

Gone, but not forgotten. Your Tandoori Chicken Salad allowed me to stick to under 500 calories as giving my dough balls to the kids went down well. Nice place, friendly staff, food always fine. We will miss you.

RIP Croma, been a regular since this branch opened and prior to that a regular in the city centre branch. Sadly, things post-covid haven't gone right for this iconic local chain. We were treat like friends by so many of the staff we've met over the years. Food was always great as was the atmosphere. Sad to say Didsbury has become saturated with pizza places that hace capitalised on Cromas success and finally killed it off. Really will miss it, the team, the Inglese pizza and sitting outside watching the world go by with a peroni in hand 😢

We absolutely love the warm welcome we receive every time we arrive! Each and every member of staff are so friendly, we arrived without a booking! And David (cookie) happily gave us a table outside on our request! The service was great, we were a table of 4! We all loved are starters, 2 of us ordered pizzas which were amazing, the other 2 ordered pasta! One of them didn’t like the pasta dish, David listened to the feedback and offered an alternative which our friend loved! That was great customer service.

Myself, my wife and mother in law went to Croma in Didsbury yesterday, the service was excellent as was the food and the value is superb too, cannot recommend enough!

Pizza arrived cold and took longer than expected. Phoned the store and they said it was because they were short staffed. Also very disappointed that they were one of the only Domino's doing half n half through lockdown. Yet, when domino's announce that they are bringing it back, this store then decides to stop doing it. Might try Papa John's next time.

Impulsive decision to eat out and decided to visit for the first time, lovely outdoor seating, good menu and lovely welcoming staff on arrival. Restaurant light and area and very clean, lots of space and lovely relaxing atmosphere and a good mixture of diners, young, older, families, couples. Well organised and very efficient. Jug of water brought and wine shortly afterwards which was reasonably priced for a bottle. We ordered pizzas which were fresh, tasty and the best we have eaten anywhere- again not too expensive. Staff on hand to ensure we had all we needed and everything was perfect tables cleared, bill sorted and a great lunch which shall not be our last there. Can’t recommend it enough and look forward to returning to a great place with a fabulous team.

This is my second time ordering from this branch in over 5 years the first time I had the exact same issue, however I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that health and safety has now improved. Last night I ordered a pizza and once again opened the box and there is HAIR BAKED IN TO THE PIZZA and just for refference I have long curly light brown blonde hair this was straight and black! I called the store and allegedly spoke to the manager who gave a name of “ yar” and his response to this disgusting incident was that it was unfortunate I had to go back and fourth until a refund could be done however if my refund is not in my account within the 5 days stated I will be escalating this ! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE

decided to visit Domino's in didsbury for lunch yesterday. The member of staff that served me was really friendly, knowledgeable and customer focused. I really enjoyed my visit...AND the pizza was really good! lol

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Croma traces its heritage back to a branch of Pizza Express in the city centre. There’s now three branches in the suburbs of which the Didsbury one is the most recent (and that’s been open for a decade, so it looks like the owners are not aiming for world domination). And, on a lovely day like today, it’s one of relatively few restaurants in the area which has a terrace. Perfect – we went for lunch – our first outing since contracting Covid at the end of May. It’s a mainly Anglicised Italian menu, majoring on pizza. And expect some very Anglicised toppings which would have no place on a pizza in Italy. Or in most pizza places in the UK run by Italians. Yes, Tandoori Chicken and Peking Duck with Hoisin, I’m looking at you. But there are enough Italianesque toppings to order and feel you’re getting something of the “real thing”. So, there’s a Siciliana with ham, artichokes, olives, garlic and anchovies. There’s fior di latte and a decent tomato sauce. And a mushroom one that uses a mix of field mushrooms, oyster and Paris Brown, enhanced with garlic, rosemary and a little drizzle of truffle oil. They make a “thing” of their base – double fermented sourdough. Tasty and perfectly fine, although a few seconds more in the oven would have crisped up the crust a bit more. Tiramisu is a modern classic and this was a decent version – there’s the flavour of coffee and booze and it wasn’t overly sweet. Lemon sorbet was everything you want – cold and very citrussy. Good lunch.

Food, drinks, service and ambience all excellent. And such good value! The pizzas on our latest visit were top notch - hard to beat! Lovely, modern and spotlessly clean restaurant

Croma is my favourite Didsbury restaurant and the one my friends and I visit for birthdays and other times when we fancy a pizza and a dinner out. The service is always spot on and it has a lovely atmosphere. It is also excellent value with a super cocktail menu.

Delicious pizza, really good selection of toppings and offer gluten free option also, which was delicious and handmade (it’s always massively disappointing when you are given a store bought base when ordering gluten free, thankfully this was not the case at Croma and it was so tasty!). Lovely location with outdoor seating also

Rude place ordered pizza they said was delivered, proceeds to tell me I'm wrong when the cameras show zero sign of a driver anywhere near my house, I had to call numerous times, rude staff and I had to say I will be in contact to the police with evidence before they said I'll make the pizza, this place is a joke please avoid at all cost

What a bunch of tards them staff are, looking at me like I’m a madman because I tried to pay for my pizza with cash 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Apparently they will not accept cash, last time I’ll ever use dominoes and I’ve been a regular weekly at least customer for like 15 years! We love this place especially as the weather gets better. The terrace is the perfect dog friendly people watching base. The food is always fantastic. This is Croma after all! Didsbury have great staff, great dough balls, great wine…..Oh & my favourite pizza is back on the menu. If you’ve not tried The Anatra then you are missing out on a real treat!

SERIOUSLY POOR EXPERIENCE from this domino’s. We’re based 3 mins drive down the road from the shop and our pizza took well over an hour and a half to arrive. When it did arrive it was stone cold and hard. I called the shop to complain and after being held on the line for 15 mins, I finally spoke to a manger.To his credit he did apologise and said there was a fault with their system but couldn’t explain how pizzas, that were out the oven for well over an hour, we’re delivered to us. He said next time we wanted to order to call and we’d receive a free pizza and side which seemed a nice gesture so we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I’ve just called to claim this and it’s been suggested that I’m a lier and that it never happened because it “wasn’t on the system” I’m Blown away at how poor this customer service has been. Instead of writing this review I tried to sort the problem and give Domino’s a chance to fix it. All they did was make it worse with an empty gesture and rude accusations thrown my way. AVOID at all costs.

Went to Croma in Didsbury on 19.2.2022 after theater show to celebrate little ones 2nd birthday. Staff were friendly and welcoming and really good with the 2 children. Within minutes they had been offered crayons and paper to colour. The menu was really good value ( both girls very good eaters ) and made us jealous. The strawberry ice cream was so nice. ( Well can't have the little ones eating all of it :-) )

Haven't been to a Croma for years. Stopped by in Didsbury as we had somewhere to be later. (Actually tried another restaurant close by where we parked but they wouldn't seat us as they were booked up). Found Croma and were well looked after. Service was great all the staff we dealt with were dead friendly food and food was good. My Ndjua and Honey pizza was a bit oily but i'm being picky there. Our little even had her first pizza the kids menu is £7 and is great value she even got some crayons and stuff to doodle on. In fact we felt the whole meal was good value the Mrs really enjoyed her seafood pasta and it was massive. Couldn't fault. Might even come back despite living miles away.

Had the delivery driver rudely shouting down the phone that he was outside and we weren't answering our door. Then a few minutes later the branch phoned up and were again very rude about us not answering the door. Slight problem, we're in Portsmouth about 180 miles south of where they were trying to deliver to and despite us explaining that we'd not ordered any food they just kept on shouting down the phone at us. No apology, just a very rude arrogant attitude towards us.

Whoever answered the phone tonight was extremely polite and helpful. Thank you.

I’m a regular customer of Dominos Pizza for many years and used different Dominos all over the country. But I experienced my worst service at Didsbury Dominos where the staff & manager is extremely rude, delivery is constantly late and delivery comes with items missing. When you contact the store about missing items they threaten you by banning from future orders or they ask you to return the pizza. Many households in Didsbury had experienced problems with their deliveries and on investigation I was told that often drivers and delivery boys takes items from the order because not many customers complaints.

I’m know that most businesses are closed due to the current pandemic however, I was in the village to buy some groceries and some dips from dominos Didsbury to have with dinner. The dominos was open and full of staff at least dozen of them. I went to the till and asked to buys dips and was told to go online and buy dips?? I get pizza from here quite regularly and it’s always decent! I completely messed up my order yesterday and sent it to one nearby instead of Didsbury - the staff here made it no trouble at all, phoned to see if it could be delivered instead - other store was too busy, and I couldn’t get to the other one to collect it myself so Didsbury re-made my pizza without charging. It was entirely my mistake and they weren’t at all obliged to help me out, but did so willingly. Really classy show of customer service!
