They prices don’t match the quality. I love Zizzi’s but the quality isn’t always consistent. They do great pizzas here and they have some vegan options

We were greeted by the waitress with great awkwardness at first, then we were seated at a table of 6 in a badly lit place. We ordered a classic Pizza Margherita, but were brought the flattest piece of pizza we had ever seen, if you could even call it such. It was even flatter than the plate it was dished in, and a true hassle to cut; the only good thing about it was the mozzarella that reminded me of the pizza I used to eat in Italy. There were barely any actual and authentic Italian food, and I’m saying this as an Italian. Don’t set up an Italian restaurant if you’re not going to serve even pizza right.

Thursday lunchtime was very quiet and the staff gave us a great and warm welcome. We were spoilt for choice with the menu, I had the pork belly my wife had the ravioli with goats cheese and spinach. Both meals were well presented, hot and absolutely delicious. Served within 20 minutes. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Loved it and we’ll definitely go again!

Went for a lovely meal today, felt very looked after by my server (Daanye I think it was). Was never a moment I felt neglected and was welcomed by lots of smiles and amazing delicous food. Will definitely be back again soon!

They could not accommodate my dietary requirements. Our server told me everything comes in pre made and they didn’t know all the ingredients. Also very expensive for what it is and uncomfortable seats.

Well, take away box was nice but not user friendly, pizza was not cut. It was extremely greasy and no napkins. There was a dirt on the top of the drink, so until I did get o the point of eating my lunch in the office, it was cold. Now imagine to put pizza with rocket on to microwave.

Staff/Service: The staff were excellent, very friendly, polite and attentive. The service couldn't be faulted, although very busy we were well looked after. Food: Plenty on the menu for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, there was no rush. There is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.

Had a lovely lunch at Zizzi before an evening at Coop Live Arena, the waiting staff overhead my husband wishing me happy birthday and my desert arrived with a candle and a song. Food was good, service was excellent, thank you.

Disinterested staff with not much of an idea about food or customers. The food was as disappointing as the staff. A good start to the evening with plenty of room and no reservation, an enthusiastic waiter quickly seated us and took our orders. The drinks and food soon arrived with stickers on the plate stating 'hot' and 'vegan'! Quite condescending really. The vegan meal was okay. The meat meal looked and tasted like a bowl of mush, I can't even remember what it was called but I do remember that the descriptions on the menu were quite far fetched! Meatball, Pasta Oven Baked... Then when the waiter came to collect the untouched food, he asked if we would like it boxed to take out? My partner answered 'no, it's disgusting and tasteless, why would I want to take that away'! He just said 'alright' and walked off with the dish! The bill came and I presented a Discount Code, the waiter asked to take my unlocked phone away to show the manager! No! Get the manager to come to me. Amateurs!

Coming from a waiter myself. Me and my friend came to have a nice evening meal, we made a booking and we were sat in the MIDDLE of the restaurant. We looked at the menu decided what we wanted and went to order on the website. … table not open?? We tried multiple times and waited and waited and waited evidently looking for someone to come tend to us. If people are looking around I’d be straight over to check. Anyway we got someone’s attention finally and I said we had been waiting 22 minutes to order. The guy replied with oh right well il open your table. No “I'm so sorry” or basic waitering skills. After ordering I go to eat my starter and yum a nice crusty fork with dried food on it. My friends starter didn’t come with the dip and again had to ask for someone to come over. Once finished we had our plates still left on our table with our mains coming as soon as we finished the last bite. Was very arkward to put the plates on a table full of empty ones. Next disappointment was my friends pizza that was dribbled with toppings in the centre of the pizza. The people next to us had the same pizza and it was humorous that it was the same pizza. My pasta was nice. At this point it was like we were serving our selfs. My friend might as well had jumped in the kitchen and made her pizza and I might as well jumped in the pot wash and cleaned my own plates and cutlery. We then waited AGIN for someone to clear our plates. The people next to us who came in later got check ups and attended too so quickly. Whilst we were still sat in the middle waiting for some basic service. At this point me and my friend were laughing and joking about the whole meal experience. That was the only positive. We then went to order dessert and didn’t work online so AGAIN had to grab someone. My cheesecake had this weird gelatinous nutty like film on the fruit part of the cheesecake that I can only describe as the texture of a scrub daddy. After we finished our dessert another 20 minutes - 30 minutes wait for someone to come scan this code I had. At this point me and my friend were cracking up about how oblivious everyone was to our presence. Finally someone came over to take our payment. To put the tip screen in front of me was quite Humorous to be honest. Finally we left. We still said thank you as we left but again didn’t really get acknowledged. A laughable yet very disappointing experience…

Firstly we were sat SO close to the ladies next to us it felt so awkward. I went with my friend and we decided to order on the website which said our table hadn’t been opened so we had to ask a memeber of staff. we waited and waited and tried to catch so many of the staffs attention. 23 mins went by and we were starving. My friends fork had dried up food on it which was disgusting:// I ordered the sticky pig pizza which was almost a margarita it was so plain and the little toppings it had were piled in the middle. We didn’t get asked if the food was okey once, I think the staff interacted with us max 2 times and we had to grab their attention both times. The pasta my friend had was delicious I just wish the staff were more attentive. It wasn’t even busy and we noticed them asking if other tables were okey but weirdly stayed away from us despite us being polite and smiley the whole time. Unfortunately it’s made me not want to go back

First time I tried a Zizzi chain restaurant. We were very impressed by Annalisa's quality service and good humor throughout the meal! The food was really good and it was a big surprise for me to discover it! I wasn't expecting such a level of dishes that were so well presented and delicious! A nice discovery.

Manchester resident with visiting family on Saturday evening. First time visiting Zizzi Piccadilly. Not our first choice, due to its location but decided to give it a go. First impressions...welcoming staff, good atmosphere, reasonable prices for food and drink. Very busy on both floors, but tables still available. However, disappointing service, felt rushed to order from several staff, and asked several times whilst eating starters whether we we were ready for our main meals. We had clarified with waitress when taking our order that mains to be served after starters. Enjoyed our starters, especially the sharing board. No clean cutlery given before main meals arrived. One main served was wrong order, short wait for this to be rectified. One main pasta dish was very dry on top layer, indicating it had been sat for a while under heat before brought to table. Wagyu meatballs tasty, but served with huge amount of pasta, with very little sauce, so found it difficult to eat. No offer from staff when mains served for any condiments or parmesan cheese, had to ask. When asked for our bill, the main order that was incorrect and returned, was on our bill, so we had to ask to get this rectified. Just to add context, our initial waitress explained she was new to the her role, and we reassured her not to worry. We did tip her (no service charge on bill). After reading the reviews before eating here, we left disappointed with the overall experience on our visit.

Zizzi’s Piccadilly is one the best I’ve been in - spacious with large tables for big group. Best of all was the fantastic service from all the staff and especially Fay and Roland. Everything they did was with a smile and consideration for us as customers. We were big group and they did everything help us all enjoy our evening together. We had a fantastic time at zizzi Manchester Piccadilly today. We were very warmly greeted by AnnaLisa, who explained about the Zillionaires and the goodies about the scheme. Food was as fresh steaming and tasty ....the overall atmosphere was great with a toddler as well. My daughter found some good time to decorate their offering

A good, attractive Italian restaurant in the middle of Manchester Piccadilly. Ambience modern and rustic. Amalfi cocktail - boring, tastes like orange juice with soda, needs a kick - VERY thin dry slice of orange smiley. Mixed Leaf Salad - too fard, needs more variety - baby spinach, herbs or celery leaves and pine nuts Calzone Carne Piccante - VERY good

Lovely food and absolutely wonderful friendly service from Faye. Definitely recommend visiting. The Burrata starter was just divine as were the deserts.

A disappointing experience. Myself and my boyfriend were greeted fairly happily, and seated at a central table - orders taken in a suitable amount of time, and our server was fantastic. Starters came, both of us absolutely adored our meals - superb from whoever made them. Then we encountered issues - maybe its standard practice but our mains came while our starters were still being eaten, and staff cleared our unfinished plates to make room. Including my cutlery, so I had to request more- then my main came with chips, which honestly cannot be called that, they were crispy shells with nothing inside, and my green beans were overcooked and seemed tacked on to make my meal worthwhile. My partner did enjoy his meal well enough, though when he went to finish mine shared my disappointment. Our worst experience came when we were ready to leave - 10 minutes passed of me trying to make eye contact with disinterested staff, walking around the venue looking bored and downright upset, before I got the bill. Yet more time passed before I finally gave up and took the bill up to the bar to pay, where I found a scale of optional tips with a very subtle "no tip" option in the top right. I'll ignore the card issues since I've faced them elsewhere and cannot pin them on the venue specifically, but overall, I felt unwelcome, ignored, and the staff could not care less what you want or need. Food was OK, but not worth the hassle.

Had dinner last night with my family, food was amazing and everyone had a brilliant time. Service 1st class and Anna was fun and helpful even taught me a bit of Italian, great value for money will definitely return, highly recommended

The Picante King Prawn was great and well seasoned, although the hanging prawns are a little awkward to remove. Their Rustica pizzas are perfectly cooked. I had requested for the food to come after a certain time as we were fasting so we wanted the food to be fresh at the time of breaking fast, the waiter very politely understood and made sure the food was cooked and ready just after breaking my fast. Overall good food and great service. Also they do accept tastecard.

After 2 weeks later I have found time to share my experience with Zizzi.. I will try to use my words very carefully: Situation - booked a table at 6pm for 4 people. We arrived at 6pm ordered our drinks (came straight away in 5min) ordered 4 starters (for each one ) and wanted to order our main dish little bit later. Around 6.30pm waitress said they can't take any orders for main dishes as they were very busy. I said it's okay but where are our starters ? (6.45pm) Around 7pm I went out for a vape.. came back and my wife said they get free drinks for the long waiting time. Around 7.30pm I went upstairs and was sooo angry and complained to Zizzi manager that we STILL WAITING FOR OUR STARTERS (7.30pm) He said you can leave if you want! Yes his words! I said ok I'm leaving and ? He said you can leave you don't have to pay. I said ok I'm leaving!!! I went downstairs and saw my wife and friends with their starters (7.40pm) but my starter still missing, asked waitress - 19.45pm my starter arrived (picture: cold calamari) took one bite 🤢 no comment! Final : WENT OUT - SUPERTAN OUT! It was my 2. time here :( My advice: CHANGE the management A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WAITERS AND WAITRESSES as they were fighting for the overbooked tables and were still trying to smile , they apologised so many times to me.. one waiter saw me and came to me and asked "are you okay 🥺" he understood that something is wrong here .. Long story short - change the management and please save this place asap! It's a pity.. super location super space to do a lot lot more better business! All what I wanted was to eat a Lasagne 😭

Shivani is the best thing about this bad experience she was very caring and helpful and replaced our bad order, food taste below average and other waitresses she refused to set us on specific table cause she’s busy to cleaning it up! And then while eating she was all time on her phone and paying attention to serve or do her real job and having side conversations with other waitresses What a bad service and food wasn’t worth the price paid for .. horrible experience

We come to Zizzis to celebrate birthdays, my favourite is the lasagna and the kids love the pizza, prices are expensive but for a birthday treat it won’t hurt now and again.

Accepting the 30 minute per-warning for meals to arrive, we waited 50, my 9 yo starter was wrong, our starters weren’t cleared ahead of the mains arriving and when I asked for them to be cleared I didn’t even get an apology. Having asked one of the waiters how I should complain, they did admittedly ask what was wrong and having explained they said, I quote… “do complain the manager is terrible…” enough said. May just have been a bad day but as a regular Zizzi customer, this was more than disappointing. Dismal.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon and was advised there may be a 40 minute wait for food due to kitchen staff being short. Was greeted and seated by Lauren, who was attentive and diligent and kept checking everything was ok. The customer service was top notch and only had one small issue with one of the mains but this was rectified immediately and perfectly. You can get good food most places in Manchester but you do not get customer like that everywhere or even most places these days. All round brilliant experience.

Why are so many Zizzi's now just serving bad food? Seems to be the low standard you can expect from this company lately - very disappointing. We ate Winter Caprese Salad starter - it was sad looking, very few ingredients on a large plate that made me realise what a rip off it was, I've had way better similar beetroot & grains salads with actual salad, which was missing from my plate. The Calamari starter was good though, beautiful texture & light crumb. Mains were tragic - Herbed Pork that was so dry you could use it as tinder to build a fire in the woods, Salmon Pasta was awful with pasta that wasn't cooked properly - al dente isn't when the pasta is still really hard, it needed another 5mins boiling. It's clear the kitchen isn't being monitored properly & the staff are serving low quality, badly made food without a care. Meanwhile the manager doesn't care either, I spoke with her & she was dismissive & disinterested. Worse still, she made the cappuccino & hot chocolate we had afterwards & it was awful. Coffee was bitter & burnt, I would have preferred instant coffee over the awful tasting coffee I received. The hot chocolate was not sweet at all.

Lovely ,tasty food, drinks a little pricey but that's Manchester I guess. You can only pay by card and there was already a suggested tip amount keyed in which was able to be changed but uncomfortable to do so as the waitress was stood over me. ( Clever touch there Zizzi) overall, it was enjoyable.

Never been here before, and what have I been missing, the food was lovely from the starter to the main, I was stuffed by the time we had finished, we had from the Christmas menu, 3 courses, will definitely go a zizzi again.

We picked zizis because you usually know what you’re going to get, decent food etc. The exception to that is the Manchester Piccadilly Zizis. The waitress was miserable as soon as we entered and she sat us down. We ordered drinks and those drinks proceeded to sit on the bar for about 15 minutes and would have done for longer had we not have flagged someone down and asked them (the place wasn’t busy and three waiters had walked past them numerous times, one even moved them out the way to place his dirty glasses down). When taking our food orders we stated to the waitress we wernt sure if we were doing the festive menu so we only ordered starters and mains both of which were on the main menu and the festive menu, she said this was okay. The food came in good time, the mozerella bomb was decent however the chorizo carbonara was awful, no taste, luke warm and unappealing- did not eat it. After the mains we decided not to opt for dessert and to ask for the bill. To our shock we were told no we could not do this as the waitress had already put through on her tablet that we were doing the festive menu therefore we had already been charged and they could not change it?? What? I questioned this, asking so I have to order a dessert that I do not want and did not ask for prior? The answer was yes and apparently there was nothing they could do we had to either pay the money for the three course festive menu even though we only ate two or we had to order a dessert we did not want. This was absolutely ridiculous and the waitress and manager were rude and unhelpful. How can they expect you to pay for something you have not eaten or ordered? I do not like making a scene in a restaurant so after realising I wasn’t getting anywhere with the staff we just ordered the desserts which we did not want and barely ate. I think this was disgusting service from the staff, and their fault completely. If someone does not order the three courses then why put them through on the system then tell customers they have to order three courses? Will not be returning to Zizis after this experience and hope this does not happen to anyone else as it just ruined our evening.

Food arrived very cold and then questioned when the plate felt barely warm. If you eat it and it's cold then its cold! Complete nightmare performance to order food as they expect you to do it on a mobile phone. Why have staff if they don't do the job of looking after customers when paying for the privilege.

3 of us dined, 2 meals arrived after quite a wait. After chasing the 3rd meal, lasagne, it was brought to the table, small portion, no salad, garlic bread or any accompaniments. It was burnt to the bottom of the dish, rubbish. It was my daughters birthday, we were going to stay for a dessert but left in disgust

The owners should consider more staff, as the people working when we were there were clearly rushed off their feet. One of our drinks was forgotten and took 15 mins to arrive AFTER we prompted them. They also didn't ask how our meal was, and didn't ask us about deserts. We also had to chase someone to get them to take payment. I don't blame the staff, who were all doing their best, their bosses need to provide more help.

Quite mid scran, bit spenny Fit birds tho so 10/10
