Barlow Croft Fayre & Square in Manchester

I had a lovely time here, it's cosy, family friendly and the staff are so engaging. We had a lovely server, I think her name was Hester? The food was great and we definitely would come again 😊

Came here for date night! And couldn’t recommend enough! Food was amazing and staff was all so so lovely will definitely be returning!!

All I can say is it as awful. Went for breakfast at 9 doors locked. Manager came at 9-15 and said she will open shortly. So we left to go somewhere else. Came back at 7 in he evening and was told they had no tables free. Funny because the place was empty. Outside was a tip with bottles and rubbish everywhere.

Large sign outside the pub stating breakfast 9 - 11am daily. As we were staying next door arrived at 9am to locked doors. There were staff inside but just ignored us so we went in via the Wacky warehouse. A female member of staff followed us in and shouted over that she would open the doors for us in 5 minutes. As we were in and it was cold outside we sat down anyway. She didn't come back to us or open the main doors so after 10 minutes we left. Major tip - don't advertise what you can't provide.

Popped in with the family, for food and the kids had a great time in the wacky warehouse. The carvery was really tasty and we couldn’t believe the selection of vegetables, great visit

Disgusting! Not normally one to write reviews but this place needed it! Don’t know where to start with this place! The worst of the worst was a rat running through the car park straight through the front door into the restaurant. Told a member of bar staff about this who just shrugged and said ‘yeah, they’re all over the place’ Other than the obvious vermin problem which stopped us all from finishing our food and making a quick getaway was the shocking service. Never seen so many depressed faces walking around. Tables was disgusting and barely cleaned. The food was 50/50. Some was good some was bad including the undercooked veg on the carvery. Avoid this place with the rats that are ‘all over the place’

Food was very nice , Harry brought us our food and was nice interacting with us, it was nice to have food close to our hotel due to visiting a concert nearby.
