The best restaurants in Halton North West

They don’t allow dog in. Tried ringing before our arrival but no answer. Disappointed that this was the case. Won’t be returning any time soon.

Ridiculous how they said they can’t do garlic bread pizza without cheese because it inflates most ridiculous thing i’ve ever heard and also being horrible to another member of staff who is lovely

Ordered food by phone and then picked up 20 mins later. It was ready when we arrived to collect. Food was amazing and so delicious. Will definitely be returning here.

Went to this chippy one Friday evening,we ordered two soups,ribs and a portion of chips the soups had halved in size but still the same price the ribs were a smaller portion but still the same price and the same with the chips.hate being ripped off but especially when they reduce the size and think you won’t notice,definitely won’t be going back.

Worst Chinese I have ever had the curry mild is like water my advise go somewhere else. My partners food her dish was full of oil. The beef is cheap and nasty

This is not a bad Costa and some staff are helpful and polite and my mate works there too but unfortunately some man with grey hair who served me was abit slightly rude I don’t know why but he didn’t say thank you or ewt apart from that I do like this Costa

The food was good not great with good service. A solid performance if you like. Would not set the world on fire but alright

only popped in for a quick butty, bacon/tomato barm. VILE. the balm was semi hard and tasted like it was on the turn, tomato’s tasted like water, and the bacon was just fat, cheapest nastiest thing i’ve ever sunk my teeth into £4.50 for that! someone’s making a profit there… anyways i took one bite and put it on the side, no one said a word or batted an eye lid, go mcdonald’s down the road guys honest.

Just had delivered burger fries healthy build a box arrived within the hour hot well wrapped by polite delivery driver employed by them could not fault ordered direct saving pounds against the major platforms 5 star

Bought 2 steak pies for me and my wife. Got home and wide found a long hair mingled in pastry before putting it in her mouth. Made her feel nauseous at the thought she could have injected it. Gave it the dog

Went in here for a large bag of chips, and asked for some curry sauce with a carton of mushy peas. The chips are frozen fries, and they didn’t know what curry sauce or mushy peas were! This ‘chippy’ has been in Widnes for years!! So disappointing

I had a takeaway from here, never again, it was the most awful meal I have ever had. The Salt and Pepper batter was so soggy I binned it, the chips were also soggy and the little bits of chips looked as though they were left overs from lunchtime also binned. All was stone cold except the curry sauce which was the only part of the meal that was edible. What a waste of money. I very very rarely order a takeaway and it will be a long time before I do again.

Good quality food, lots of choice, however there is a lack of meat dished up, the carvery chef took turkey off my plate, he had only put one slice on and cut this in half and removed it from my plate, after I asked for a slice of beef. I noticed other customers received more. I am a regular customer and eat here most weekends and I have noticed it seems to be one particular chef that is not very generous with the meat. I recently visited the Carlisle branch which was completely different, very generous portions of meat, would definitely recommend Carlisle, as I am a regular customer at the Widnes branch, I have noticed the lack of meat is consistent, I visited during the week and received more meat, however there was a different chef on duty.
