I’m not one for leaving a bad review but I just feel this chippy really needs an improvement on the staff, cooking and delivery time. Waited over 1 hour and a half. Food was cold and nothing but grease

Most disgusting food at lunch time. Fruity curry looked like baby shit, i just dmput it straight in the bin. Chips raw on the inside and burnt on the outside. And the staff not very friendly.

Absolutely disgusting chips were hard as hell sons meal emptied out in bag juices and oil everywhere never again

Got ripped off ordered food online, and they took money from bank but no food or anyone answering phone, and at there prices it's a joke

Never had a good experience there and I only been there twice and the staff aren’t perfect and they are rude and snotty I guess there food has gone quite smelly and horrible and I will never come back so this place needs shutting down. I not joking!

Ordered chips and sausage and chips rice and curry , from chippy not online , sat and waited 40 mins before I gave up and got refund , wasn't busy in there . Nobody infront of me waiting just kept being told every 5 mins " won't be long now " ........don't waste your time !!!

The worst staff! Talking with walls! Ask not to put ingredients that I’m allergic and they put plenty of it! Only say “yes”! You find out they didn’t care Don’t recommend

Food quality poor compared to other local fish bars.

It took over 2 hours and 45 minutes to deliver two fish and chips. Never had such poor service from here before. Food was greasy and freezing cold when it arrived. Most of it went in the bin.

food was lovely, however the delivery was not, said would take up to an hour maximum and we waited almost 3, understand it was bussy and the guy delivering was only guy on, however not great having to wait three hours for food.

Never again, It was awful, maybe it was because it was Saturday night, No excuse.

Gave me a fish that was dry but even worse the underside batter was pieced together and burnt as I'm black. Would prefer them to have said no fish. £6.30 wasted. Put it in the bin

We order our food at 7pm it should have been delivered by 7:45 and it’s just arrived at 8:50pm I rang the restaurant twice and just got told it’s on its way. That’s ridiculous waiting nearly 2 hours for food on a Wednesday night

I ordered a small fish which cost £4.95 and it was not worth the money. It was so small and hardly had any fish in it. I ordered halloumi fries which also were £4.95 and got Mozzarella sticks which were cheaper. The salt and pepper onion rings were just mush. I was really disappointed with this order and I’m not sure I will be using this chippy again which is a shame because I always used this chippy in the past

We have used Neptune on a number of occasions and have been happy with the quality of food. However, in this instance, the fish was massively overcooked. The batter was very thick, burnt, and with a tiny amount of very dry fish. Very disappointed this time unfortunately...

Food took two hours to arrive. The £7 salt and pepper chicken portion size was rather small and Luke warm when it arrived. not a happy customer.

The chips were cold and hard and the fish was tiny for £7+ I think they must have sent a small but charged for a regular. Curry was congealed. Used to love the food from here but won’t use again

The fish was absolutely disgusting, mostly batter, oily, hardly any fish. There must have been about 2 fish fingers worth of fish in there, in fact, 2 fish fingers would have been preferable! Ordered many times from here in the past and it's been ok, but I'll never be ordering from here again! Disgraceful.

the food came, the kebab was cold the fish was soggy and tasteless and the chip were hard. will not be ordering from here again

we did not receive the curry sauce that we ordered, the gravy was not edible due to the consistency, on the plus side the meal was delivered earlier than stated on the app

The food was hot and delicious. When I called to enquire about my order, the young girl on the phone was polite, friendly and was helpful.

Absolutely love their burgers, far better than your average maccies burgers and very good value for money! Would recommend the cheeseburger with an added patty.

The staff at the restaurant put a handwritten note on of the boxed items for me to get my money back from Just Eat due to how late the food was.

Did an online order and never again! Food was late and all cold, sludges and burnt at same time. Absolutely inedible. Also missing a portion of chips. Was only a simple order of various chips, sauces etc for after the footy. We’d gone bed by time food turned up! And food was just dreadful. Do not order online from here. Don’t know if it’s as bad if you go in the chippy itself as I’ll never use them again.

awful delivery waiting time, staff didn't care at all, and lied 3 times saying food was already out for delivery - nearly 2 hours for food to arrive yet "it was out for delivery". Staff said a manager would ring me back next day, I agreed to this and heard nothing since! After reading other reviews seems this is a very common occurrence.

If I could give 0 stars I would for the overall experience. We ordered our food on Just Eat at 14:20 and it arrived at 16:20 despite the estimated time saying it would arrive within the hour. I rang the restaurant 3 times in total and each time they said the delivery driver was on the way to us (10 minute drive) so I struggle to understand why it took so long and why each time I rang they said the driver had just left and was on the way to us. When the driver arrived he was apologetic and said that the last customer he delivered to refused the order as it was so late. We're annoyed and won't be ordering again. Our food wasn't great to be honest. Wrong sauce was put in my partners kebab. The halloumi was mostly batter, we ordered 2 portions and only received one. I ate my cheesy chips and my partner ate his mixed grill which was actually pretty good.... however later that day we were both sick and had very upset stomachs. In conclusion it wasn't worth the long wait or the money (even with the discount on Just Eat).

Worst chippy ive been too, first fish apparently fell aoart cooked another while my jebab was done and going cold, got home the grease that came off the kebab was unreal !!! The fish wasn’t cooked it was raw !!!never again

brilliant quality food at a very affordable price, friendly English delivery woman and they even sent a tub of sauce for me to try cos I wasn't sure what it was and asked, the burger was perfect and they definitely didn't skimp on the sauce too, cannot fault at all

Great kebabs, really enjoyed mine

I ordered chicken fried rice and a spicy curry sauce last week and really enjoyed it. I decided to order the same again but I was given a fruity curry sauce not Chinese style which did not taste right with chicken fried rice

Ordered chicken curry, rice and chips. The chicken curry was literally just chicken skin and curry awful! The chips were burnt and soggy and rice hard and stuck together

So basically i waited over an hour an a half for the food to come, when it came the chips where hard an the rest was just far to greasy for what i paid i expected better quality food.

Great quality food 👌 I buy food from here often 😋 I usually eat in so this is my first order and it arrived safely 😀 my only issue was that it needed a bit more cooking 🍳 but only slightly! Otherwise great 👍 I think it's because I ordered this to arrive not long before the shop opened 😅 I will definitely be visiting again though 😀 .

Normally my son and I enjoy the sausage dinners we get from Neptunes, however today's were not enjoyable because the majority of the chips in both our trays were under-cooked and crunchy. Obviously too many orders and in too much of a rush to get the orders out.

Just got fish and chips from here warmed up fish and chips I bought som two weeks ago from here it was excellent but after todays effort will not be going back there again

The batter was over cooked and fish not cooked.no seasoning no taste.Chips were inedible definitely not freshly cooked.Bits and all very unappetising.Peas were ok everything went in the bin.£15 wasted.I won’t be using them again I took photos before I binned the lot.very disappointed

Fried rice was nice and the salt an pepper chicken as well , Other thank being late and the chips , the rest was lovely . Just make sure you give 2 hours from when ordering to get your food

Seemed like warmed up chips from yesterday were all dark brown and hard, grease filled the bottom of the bag that was delivered, curry pot was about 2cm deep donner meat wasn’t bad but for £7.70 absolutely tiny

Terrible service, was told on the phone that my food was out for delivery (hesitantly) after waiting for 20+ minutes I phoned again and told the operative that I wanted a refund if my delivery arrived cold, that I was assured of on the phone I would get based on the above, to have the delivery driver turn up 20 minutes later for a £14 delivery! XD feeling cold, Held the order for 10-15 seconds based on the atmosphere to no avail and rang again following to come to an arrangement with the company direct for a refund (no point) which they told me to contact deliveroo. Basically deliveroo paid for my refund for Neptune's incompetence :)

Chips warm ups looking burnt with a lot of bits on them, they were also warm to cold. For the price wasn't worth it won't be going there again, give it a miss.Curry was like baby chudder. Was all inedible went in the bin.

Ordered food around 8:45 and have waited until what is now 11pm and still have no food. Called the restaurant about 30 minutes ago and they said it was with the driver, however food still hasn’t shown. Won’t waste my time coming here again.

I want a refund for this! I waited 2 and a half hours for food for my kids and they’ve gone to bed having only eaten a couple of slices of toast! This is unacceptable and I want an immediate refund

Order of fish, chips and curry arrived late and nearly cold. I can accept that but the food we received I wouldn’t feed to a dog. The expensive and small cod was burnt and looked like it had been kicked around the street. They should be ashamed to send it out to a paying customer. When you’re called a fish bar you should at least try to get fish and chips right. We threw it in the bin. Disgusting

i ordered a meal at 19.30, i rang twice to see where the food was and just got fobbed off with excuses, the driver turned up at 21.45 with the wrong meal, i won,t be bothering again.

Food was wildly late, my little one had gone to bed with toast before it arrived. Everything was cold, the chips cold and pale, the rice is like it isn’t even cooked, it’s so hard and crunchy. Honestly it went in the bin.

Very late cold food not nice at all

Ordered online at 16:48 With a delivery time of 17:35. It is now 18:25 and were still waiting for our order. We phoned the restaurant at 18:00 telling us it'll be 5 minutes. If you food ever arrives I'll let you all know..... Food was never delivered we had to go and pick it up in the end. Items missing from order. There wad also 10 other deliveries lined up sat not been delivered. AVOID AT ALL COSTS... DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!!!!!

Ordered at 7:30pm and arrived at 9:30pm, driver was really apologetic to be fair to him. I'm really not sure what's caused this place to go downhill so quickly. The Special Burger (With Donner) had no donner on it, S&P chips were just chips that were absolutely drowned it Garlic. Fried rice & Chips, the rice tasted burnt. Wouldn't reccomend anymore unfortunately which is a shame because until Jan this year all reviews were great.

Disgusting! Food had been sweating in packaging. Paper was all wet Food was like rubber. Food was cold Gravy was like thick cement. Driver was pleasant and apologetic however. Food shocking Maybe shorten delivery range.
