Its a kinda magic in Halton

only popped in for a quick butty, bacon/tomato barm. VILE. the balm was semi hard and tasted like it was on the turn, tomato’s tasted like water, and the bacon was just fat, cheapest nastiest thing i’ve ever sunk my teeth into £4.50 for that! someone’s making a profit there… anyways i took one bite and put it on the side, no one said a word or batted an eye lid, go mcdonald’s down the road guys honest.

I would not advise anyone visits this cafe!!! precooked and out of date food. Everything was stale and the workers are extremely rude, the sausages smell of amonia and the floors are very dusty. I was told i couldn’t be served after 12 despite the closing time being 1 as “the grill was off” and after a long day of work this wasn’t what i would like to be told. My stomach also did not feel right after eating the plastic cheese and burnt toast.

Came across this little gem of a place when we moved to Halebank 2 years ago and I can honestly say the breakfasts are the best my husband and I have ever tasted. The staff are always pleasant and nothing is too much for them.

Real good food always tasty always hot very reasonable prices. Staff were always welcomeing and pleasant.

Fantastic friendly service with excellent quality food cooked to order and great specials throughout the day. You can even phone your order in and get it delivered locally. Just a small note for anyone with asthma... the log fire smoke leaks back into the room in the winter.

I asked for a jacket potato with tuna on a Friday lunchtime, the lady serving wouldn’t make one because she’s “not making tuna just for one jacket potato”. Very unprofessional, won’t be going back.

Great little cafe, doesn't look much from outside and it's on the edge of an industrial site but it's what's inside that counts!!!! Lovely friendly staff, great food, plenty of choice and very reasonable prices. Added bonus is it's "dog friendly" so we can call in whilst out walking our dog and enjoy a good brew and bacon on toast.

The best homemade burgers and homemade chilli sauce. Large selection of good food. Good friendly staff Good prices

must admit wasnt very impressed had a barm with egg bacon and mushroom on it was very greasy so much that you couldnt taste the food

Went in for 2 breakfasts too take away. Sat waiting for over an hour and everyone that came in after got served in under 10 minutes. I asked on 3 occasions when my breakfasts were being done, too be told theyre being cooked. I could see the ticket in front of the cook, she ignored it and carried on serving the new orders. Then breakfast came .... just the one....on a plate! So cheffy boxed it up and gave it back too me, then started on the second breakfast, the first breakfast was by now stone cold, at this point I was just too far beyond being bored and peed off.....and having a diabetic hypo that I had too eat something before I collapsed

what a find. had a weekend away, driving back home late morning. needed food. just saw it on the side of the road. friendly staff, everything cooked fresh to order. Good selection of breakfast food and toasties, and other lunch time fayre like pies and baked spuds etc. Good wholesome basic food, and what better than a real log fire, specially when it was snowy hail stones gruesome outside. And best of all - absolutely excellent value for money.
