We haven’t visited here for at least two years but credit where credit due this was a much better experience especially the roast was plentiful only issue was both roast were minus the pigs in blankets but my husband wouldn’t say so that’s his fault. I had the gammon this was perfect 👌

Came here for tea, food was okay but quite clearly microwaved. I had pie and chips and the pie was soggy and watery, very different to the flakey pasty it was described as. Tables had very much seen better days and the cutlery too. Wouldn’t return unless just for drinks. Service was good and staff were friendly

A pleasant enough place to eat, good outdoor area with a few slides and things. Food was good served reasonably quickly and cooked well. Took our doggies in the outdoor area, but we're respectful of others and key them near the exit and tied up. Pity the last person to use the gents toilet was not a bit more respectful, as they left the toilet seat in a disgusting state. Long may they suffer the runs...

Food was very bland, mash and roasties only decent thing, the place was dirty, sticky tables that I cleaned my self, tables full of dirty plates, needs a good overhaul

We normally eat out at the Queen of hearts in runcorn but when we called in place was full there was up to 1 hour wait if you wanted a meal. So we decided to go to ten lock flight for are meal. VERY big mistake we both order rump steak (medium rear for both)the steak was like eating rubber I told member of staff about it she said pass onto the kitchen but in mean time she offered us free Desert we are still waiting for the apple crumble With Custard still to arrive. WOULD WE COME HERE AGAIN. ONE BIG NO.

Food wasn't too bad, however, decor requires a makeover and cleanliness of tables, untidiness needs to be addressed.

Food dreadful, garlic bread was like eating cardboard, gammon tough and battered fish soggy. Chef you really should taste the food it's bad. We also waited about 45 mins for the food despite the pub being empty as apparently there was only 1 chef on. Never visiting again...

I have been once before and everything was just ok , this time tho everything was excellent, the food was just amazing the staff were so polite , helpful, friendly, really couldn’t have been any better , I will definitely be returning very very soon , it was a very pleasant evening with my wife and that was thanks to the staff and great food. Chicken Tikka Masala Steak & Ale Pie....very nice.....staff friendly Omg, tonight (5.12.23) pie again but also the lasagne.....it was amazing, the salad was beautiful 😍 didn't get a picture it was too nice I had to eat. 28.5.24 The only complaint is that tables need a damn good clean, tackie. Party of 10. Food really nice 👍

Service was poor. I had to tell them about my prawn allergy, I wasn't asked when I ordered food. Only after that was the table cleaned. Also food was greasy and oily and had been left on the warmer too long and the eggs were very hard. Also meals were not served at same time. No cutlery or condiments on tables and we had to ask. Mustard was requested but we didn't get it. We won't be back

Service was good, we were waiting to be told where to sit for a while. The waitress was nice and friendly and it was a busy night. Food and drinks ordered quickly and came promptly. Would be better if cutlery was put on the table to begin with but we very tasty food with nice staff.

Burgers in here are gorgeous? I'm fussy over my burgers but they are gorgeous in here. This is my new fave food place definitely worth trying.

Waited nearly10 minutes stood at bar to get served as no one around.. Food served up was ok in places but lack of care really.. lettuce was really old and soggy, the steak on mixed grill was so chewy I couldn't eat it at all and the gamon was hard and overcooked... no draught bitter and broken coffee machine.. Come on guys must do better..

Had an amazing meal for my partner and her twins birthday. Everything was spot on, special mention to Megan who went above and beyond for our table even before we arrived setting up the table with balloons before we arrived and checking up on us throughout our stay

The staff were so friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious and we didnt wait too long for our meals. Super tasty and hot. We were there for a special occasion and most of the night had table service which was lovely of the staff. We can't wait to go back x

Called in on the way to the Brindley asked for ciders told only strongbow asked if any others in bottle no only strongbow asked if ginger ale staff said none in asked for large merlot was given it in a dirty glass pointed out to young lad serving us he poured it into another glass also dirty he picked up four more glasses of shelf all had lipstick on which he spotted but still put them back on the shelf and we then saw other staff members using the dirty glass off shelf to other customers, we asked for lime in desperado and surprisingly they had run out! for a Marsdens pub I was bitterly disappointed at the low standards I asked the manager why stocks where low and was smugly told they're not low we don't sell ginger ale and only have a contract to sell strongbow and ignored the no lime comment, this pub is sadly very unwelcoming and not like I would of expected from a large pub on a Sunday afternoon

Visited tenlock on Saturday, great atmosphere and great food, severed by Meg and James. kids love the play areas especially the outdoor one.

130 Sunday afternoon party of 4 ordered 1 x chicken and 3 x turkey Sunday lunches no chicken available. The turkey on menu was supposed to be accompanied by cranberry plates arrived no cranberry asked waitress to get some non available. It was one of the parties birthday so we ordered some baby Guinness shots as advertised on bar no tia Maria or khula available. This is poor at best are they not allowed to do local purchase if running out before a delivery. Top tip do not try and hide from missing items also remove empty spirit bottles from behind bar. If its failing on the basics how big are the unseen failures

Very busy as it was Friday 6pm and the sun was shining. We pre booked our table and were seated quickly. Even though it was busy we had no problems ordering and didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. We ordered the chicken burger and the chicken and mushroom pie. Standard pub grub which was hot and tasty. Staff friendly. Will definitely be back. 😊

We had a lovely family meal at Ten Lock Flight. The food came quickly and was hot and absolutely delicious. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. My kids love coming to Ten Lock Flight and we always look forward to our family evenings there.

Far too expensive. 1 pint of bitter and a glass of cola £9.80. Looked at the food and £8.99 for a sandwich Walked out after we finished my 1st drink and won't be going there again

We ordered using the online facility. We ordered two kids meals and a snack for 2 adults. One of the kids meals we ordered a bbq chicken burger, described as buttermilk chicken with bbq sauce. I selected no bbq sauce and no sauce with th meal. What arrived was a southern fried coated burger with bbq sauce. Our child doesn't eat sauce or southern fried style chicken. We asked for it to be changed and the waitress took it away and said OK. Then a bar staff lady came back to our table with the same meal in her hand and said it didn't come through to them as no bbq sauce and as for the coating on the chicken strips, that's the burger we ordered. We explained the coating was southern fried and we'd ordered the buttermilk. She said no that's just how it comes so she wouldn't be changing it! We then had to order and pay for a different kids meal, chicken dippers I think it was called with chips and peas. Our child could eat this chicken as it wasn't spicy, but he could not eat the chips as some where white and hard. After the way the bar staff member dealt with our previous issue we didn't bother asking for fresh cooked chips, we just left them and decided to just never go back to them pub again. Such a shame, nice location and nice play area.

Havent been here in a while and its still as expected, food is tasty, its just way too expensive. Pub didn't have an atmosphere and has started looking tired, faded carpets and worn furniture, again for the price they charge for food and drinks its not sustainable. This used to be my favourite pub, they did an offer 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 on a Friday. Was here every week then. Now there are no offers and they aren't competitive enough with pricing, it doesn't make me want to come again in a hurry when there's plenty of competition offering better.

Was in recently and got the hunters chicken see pic haha what a joke. Tables not cleaned. Had to go and ask a staff member to clean it. Sprayed cleaning product on me lol gave the table a half arsed wipe n walked off. She didnt take 4 empty glasses that had been left on our table. Really poor service. Lots of tables with plates and empty glasses. Past 2 times half the lagers have ran out aswell!

Lovely friendly pub didn't wait long for food. Maisie was on lovely lady she is always friendly and always smiling.

I have noticed a change over the past 18 months. You have gone from a reasonably priced eatery with decent food, to a city centre priced restaurant with Wetherspoons quality food. The pricing creeps up each month and now a price of Estrella is £6.05. This is staggering for the type of pub in Runcorn. The first I realised of this was when you downgraded the pizza ingredient quality, the pizzas were very good and now they are barely edible. The rest of the food has also been downgraded and all trimmings have dropped off. If you want to be a competitor for Wetherspoons this is fine but you need to price inline with Wetherspoons. One last point, the table was not cleared the entire time I was there.

We arrived yesterday with my elderly father-in-law and daughter and was greeted with a smile and friendliness from Jade, front of house. She was kind and courteous and made us feel welcome. She served us our drinks and nothing was too much trouble. My father-in-law had a coffee and this was not any trouble. She brought to our table with a smile. Jade was aware that my father-in-law is hard of hearing, she made sure he could hear what she saying and treated him with the upmost respect.

Free parking with EV chargers. All on ground level with wheelchair access Will definitely use it again. Marsden's house with large selections of beers.

Food over cooked. Pizza is not worth the money, barely any toppings on a 12.50 pizza and burgers that are too burnt to eat.

Had a very nice meal .Jade was excellent member of staff who served me today went the extra mile very polite and happy welcoming member of the ten lock flight family will be back soon.

Depends on when you go really. Nice place to eat, decorated nicely, staff are really pleasant. Have tried a variety of the food. The burgers are nice though a couple of times I've been, the burger was cold and burnt and the chips were cold. Another time I've been everything was delicious. It's a bit of a hit and miss really. Today we waited over an hour for food and was told when we got our starter "the mains will be out soon because you waited so long for your starter", the waitress was really apologetic and nice. main meals took nearly another half hour and had clearly been left under a heat lamp as the grilled tomato was stone cold and mushy, the chips went cold instantly arriving only slightly warm and the two onion rings were hard as rocks. Sometimes you wait a long time for your food even if it isn't busy. The staff are all quite young and you can tell they either don't get the support or training they need from higher management but they do their best. Table was also dirty as they had no time to clean them between guests and didn't see a single table get cleaned in between other people going and leaving. Saw one guest have to ask a server to clean theres but clearly were understaffed.

Great atmosphere in the pub but meals take far to long to come out that's if they even have them in, even though there advertised. Been no straws for the last 3 weeks for the kids and tables very sticky and dirty dishes left on tables too long even though staff are delivering food a table close by, dishes are not cleared, staff are chatting amongst themselves,. A course in hospitality and catering would not go amiss .:(

We visited on the 26/3/24 for my wife's birthday the meal was excellent the service was fantastic and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone we have a Granddaughter who as food allergies and she was looked after really well so thank you for everything. Mr CJ pattison.

I would never eat here again we ate here Thursday 14th March, I ordered off the app cheese leek and potatoes pie as a vegetarian and I knew there would not be mushrooms in it ! I was served chicken and mushroom pie 🥧 and have been quite poorly since as my throat started to close with the mushroom allergy ! But no first aider available! Absolutely disgusting the way I was told if you had come to the bar to order then we could of dealt with the allergy ! But I ordered a vegetarian pie that didn't have mushroom what a disgrace of a place ! Steer clear !!!!

We had theatre tickets, and the show starting at 7.30 it was convenient to walk there over the canal bridge. we booked the table electronically and the slot of 17.30-19.30 was ideal. Family live in Runcorn and we live in Chester, so also ideal to make it a joint meal with them. The tables are spaced nicely so no one should feel closed in. The staff were very polite.

A table was booked to celebrate a family members birthday. Food orders were mixed up and the wrong meals served to the wrong table. Staff expected us to eat food that had been touched by other people. I had to speak to staff that my children were not eating food that had been served to the wrong table, and partially eaten before being passed to us. Staff tried to say the problem was ours! I corrected staff that they served the food to the wrong table and that the fault lies with them. After huffing and puffing and lots of eye rolling, our correct meal was served. Terrible place to eat run by petulant teenages with no idea on customer service.

The welcome was warm from the bar staff and we ordered drinks and meals quite quickly. I ordered the Hunter’s chicken which was supposed to come with half a cooked tomato; onion rings and rocket. I only got half a tomato. Because we were going to the theatre, I didn’t complain about it, but I was disappointed.

Ordered 2 rump steaks medium rare. Both over cooked, both tough. Ordered a mixed grill. The steak was over cooked and sausages (I assume they where sausages) where severly over cooked. Looked like the shared remains of Freddie krugers fingers. No one done a check back so we could say something. No one in the area walking past. Severly over priced for the poor food quality.

I come here everyday after work as I’m not from this area, the food is very nice and decently priced. The staff are very attentive and polite, Meg always know I want a Neck Oil when I arrive.

We came for a 21st birthday, Very welcoming atmosphere, staff are really friendly, Jade in particular stood out, a real asset to the pub, excellent food and service, they have great offers through the week, we have been before and we will definitely come again.

Food was lovely, staff was very helpful and accommodating especially Savannah who gave me the card to scan.
