The Roundhouse in Halton

Ordered two Sunday lunch to be delivered, time was given between one and two pm, waited two hours no delivery, two phone calls later with no reply or apology it's now five thirty and still no food or phone call. Would not recommend this pub at all, that is no way to run a business, definitely off my list.

Great family pub with lovely people running it

Made welcome on 2 visits I made to the pub by the owners Graham and Elaine Stanley The food was absolutely gorgeous, run by a very good family being a Elaine and Graham are personal friends of mine. I have no hesitation on recommending this place for meals and drinks, 1 complaint though 😞 I don't live there but if I did I wouldn't be out of the place. Thanks for your hospitality Guys,pleasure to know you, just a shame I can't travel any more xxxx

Couldn't give a rating for food as we didn't have any or don't know if they do any but a good time had by all of us on Christmas eve.

Lovely afternoon with friends made even better thanks to the cracking Sunday roast.

A superb takeaway Sunday roast dinner on 29th Oct. 2023. A top quality meal and excellent value for money.

Took my Dad for a Sunday lunch, he has memory problems and this is where he used to go for a Sunday lunch. So we went to see if it jogged his memory. The lunch was delicious😋, the staff were friendly & helpful, in fact the lady doing the dinners remembered him. So we will be visiting again soon. Thanks to all at The Roundhouse 😁

Went for a hangover roast, and we definitely were not disappointed. The staff were lovely and the roast had everything you'd want and was delicious ☺️

Good music, free BBQ, bouncy castle for the kids all in lead up to UEFA Cup final. Great family atmosphere. Good effort, well done!

Very quaint and friendly, went for a wake after a funeral. The prices are reasonable, the staff were lovely. My only negative was that it was pretty cold even inside

The Roundhouse is a warm inviting pub and all the Staff are lovely and friendly. They serve the best Sunday Dinners in the area fresh local produce, lots of choice, great portion size and very good value. It's well worth a visit.

Excuse me... I ordered food at 12:50. Didn't turn up until 14.50. Wow... turns out he had a sat nav that was made of stone... or he lied and didn't have a sat nav at all. He rang me, to ask for directions.... he had the post code written on the dinners 😲 then turns up with 2/3 dinners 😤🤬 what is wrong with people. Asked for a few extra yorkies. Got 1... asked for cauliflower cheese got a stone out the garden😒 the only thing I can give 10/10 for is my stupidity in eating from that carnival. Its like going to see punch and Judy, the curtains open and they are a no show. Dissatisfied... 1 person got stuffing the other two never. Weird. No mint sauce. Weird again. Must have a vendetta with the brook... how would you rate yourselves with that service. I'd give it a -2/10 and thats being generous. P.s where was my mates "cauliflower cheese"... overall grim.

The Roundhouse is a very clean and welcoming place, the food is excellent and staff are always friendly and helpful. During the pandemic at times in between lock downs when they could open, all measures were taken to ensure a safe visit. Elaine , Graham and the team do a fantastic job!

Not our local but worth the extra walk for the friendly service and great food. Love the Sunday roasts and the deliveries really kept us going during lockdown. Elaine always makes you feel welcome and I would recommend going there to anyone who listens.

Excellent choice of drinks and very pleasant staff

Beer was fine, very friendly locals. Was made to feel at home even though I was only there for about half an hour. Worth seeking out (up a steep path from Weston cross).

Nice little pub, first time here after a stroll on a bank holiday. Needed a couple of drinks to get us home. Didn't eat any food, but was felt welcome, lovely local feel. Will be going back and spending longer here.

Been visiting this friendly local pub for many years, I have to say even during the Current pandemic the Sunday lunches have been incredible, absolutely brilliant service, we’ve had both collection and delivery and every time our meals have been hot and so tasty, the portion size is fantastic, our children love their meals just as much as myself and my partner. Can’t wait to see this place back open so we can enjoy our meals sat in the comfort of the pub. 10/10 highly recommend

I read a lot of good reviews for the Sunday lunch here so had to try it. 8 of us went to celebrate a birthday. We were booked in for 2pm. I ordered a cup of coffee before my lunch & after 10/15 minutes I enquired with the lanlord/manager as to where it was & he said we do it the old fashioned way. When it came it was just regular coffee. At 3pm our lunches started to be served & by 3.20 everyone had their meal! Some food was hot & some was tepid. As stated by many it was a good sized lunch but lacked in taste & the gravy was greasy. The roast potatoes were not the best. The price was good but we would have paid more for tastier food. It seats a lot of customers but the kitchen staff can't seem to cope. This one is crossed off my list. If The Prosect is still open, go there as their Sunday lunch tastes a lot better.

Had a lovely lunch today at The Roundhouse. I’d forgotten to mention when I rang that I needed gluten-free and they had no gf gravy. They actually sent someone out to buy some, and they came back with gf Yorkshire puds too! Amazing! It certainly made a change from having gaps on the plate where the items I can’t have should be. And it was very reasonably priced. The three of us really enjoyed our Sunday lunches and were very impressed with the kindness shown. I’m not surprised it is a busy pub. And their Halloween decorations are the best I’ve ever seen! Many thanks. We’ll be back.

First time I've ever been in this bar was for my cousin funeral but staff were very welcoming food is god great overall feel to the place

Cant beat a Sunday Lunch from here. portions are perfect(huge) and top quality meats :) reasonably priced too! can not fault

Brilliant service, the best Sunday lunch i have ever had! Family friendly and always make an effort with the children. Will never eat out elsewhere again!
