One night stop at Premier Inn returning home from holiday there restaurant was closed so receptionist booked us in at Queen of Hearts friendly staff and atmosphere food was excellent and the waitress gave us the best service we have had eating out for a long time Well impressed 😀😀

Had a brilliant time with friends we were visiting in the area. The staff were great and Lee made us feel so welcome and always had a laugh and a smile for us when serving. The food is really good and the cocktails were lovely! We ended up staying into the evening, as the vibe was nice and we just didn't want to leave! The night was rubbish overall, and we were served the wrong food with fake mashed potatoes. However, a lovely, professional, and courteous staff member named Kyle was the only pleasant thing about the experience. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he provided excellent service. He deserves a pay rise.

Our party of 14 turned up yesterday afternoon (16th Jun-24) after a family funeral unannounced. The 2 ladies that served us (so sorry I didn't get your names but hope the date helps) were fantastic, your customer service, attention to detail and general banter was outstanding! The food was great with lots of compliments from our party. Thank you again for the great service, will most definitely be returning!!

I am most impressed and I also feel slightly sorry for the girl behind the bar tonight. She was rushed off her feet but she was managing that queue with an iron rod. She had us all agreeing with her and her psychological tactics did not go un missed. I felt so sorry for her that I wanted to jump behind the bar and help her out. Brilliant thankyou

Good food and service. However, if you have an EV, don't bother trying to charge as the same two cars block the chargers every day. One is a blue Jaguar. There are plenty of free spaces.

Went for breakfast but ended up lunch after follow up visit to hospital with our daughter , everything back to pre covid which was nice to feel normal again. Nice friendly staff.

Came here the other day for a cold pint to cool down from the summer sun, young lad called Kyle was very helpful and informative when asked about the different options, refreshing to have someone with naturally good customer service.

I absolutely love coming to the queen of hearts. The food is always spot on and the newer items on the menu are just as amazing as the rest. The staff are always absolutely fantastic and are always happy to help. The pub is always nice and clean and they have a lovely beer garden with plenty of space. I will continue to come to this gem of a pub

Went for a group Christmas lunch which was really nice and very reasonably priced. Went again for Mothers Day lunch butthe roast dinner left a lot to be desired. The staff where very nice but I won't be returning.

Not been in Runcorn for long, but this is probably one or the most esteemed and friendly establishments I have ever been to in my many years of travelling across the UK. The staff are sublime, as well as the constant deals and offers regarding drinks and food deals. I've met some amazing people through Queen of Hearts, and my only issue is that I wish I discovered the place sooner. Couldn't fault the place. 10/10. 👑

Went on a Tuesday evening, so not busy food well cooked and staff very friendly we all enjoyed the short time we spent there. Will try visiting on a Friday evening probably busier and see if everything is still as good when busy I do hope so. Visited on a hot Thursday evening with some friends it was very busy staff all very friendly and Adrian took our order at the bar there was a wait for food but that to be expected food was all well cooked come on nice hot plates everyone was pleased with it all steaks cooked correctly as ordered. Will be calling again

We had booked a table only to find on arrival that it was taken by 'locals' who refused to move as they were engaged in minimal understanding of the English language conversation with every other word being F, C or B. Another table was found close to them behind a group of male's who were watching football who had the same problem. Cannot fault the service or food. Not a nice impression on our first visit and it may be a while before we consider going back.

The service and food are always really good from Queen of Hearts, it's a lovely pub and the atmosphere is always great. We keep getting 30 % off vouchers, but you can't use two offers at the same time, they always have deals on and the steak is just lovely.

Went for a last minute tea and have to day this has been the best experience we have had at the Queen of hearts first of all my child didn't like the meal do this was replaced without any question asked, the staff have been absolutely wonderful and the food was great as usual Katie, Kyle and Adrian keep doing what you're doing because it's people like you that makes a pub a great place!!

Lack of humanity in what apparently was the manager. Spoke abruptly, even when I was visibly upset. No longer feel comfortable staying in the venue. Will not return ever again

What can i say, the whole staff where amazing. Lee & Lisa had decorated a whole corner with banner and buntings, chair covers and sashes and made the day so special for my late grandmothers celebration of life. The food was spot on and amazing and it was even more special that we had real plates and cutlery rather than plastic cutlery and paper plates. The food was well presented and buffet table looked amazing. Thank you so much to everyone at the Queen of hearts who made our sad day such a special ending for the “Queen of our hearts” my grandmother.

New menu is great with lots of choice. Everyone was happy with their meals. Service was quick and food was hot and fresh. No complaints.

I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews but My sister and a few of her friends all aged 17 went to visit the queen of hearts for a little late lunch (not their first visit, been there multiple times before) the time was 5.55pm. They then ordered some food and soft drinks to then be approached by the manager and got told in an inappropriate manner they had to leave because they were in a place that sold alcohol and didn’t want to risk them being served and weren’t accompanied by a person 18+. Then got told they were not to come back. Got told to leave because they didn’t want to risk them being served!?! If you have suspicions that someone is under the age of 18 you should know how and when to ID someone so you avoid giving underage people alcohol! I understand that it would have been an issue if the girls were trying to order alcoholic drinks but they simply just ordered a few glasses of soft drinks along side their food. As well as, anyone who works or has worked in the pub industry know it’s the law that under 18s are allowed in a pub up until 9pm where they then have to leave. One of the girls parents rang the pub to speak to the manager about the situation and got told that marston policy over rules the law and were then again told not to return to the pub. my sister and her friends quite enjoyed going for food at this place before this bad experience I think is appalling that 3 youngs girls got denied food. How do they know that the meal they ordered wasn’t going to be the only thing they could eat all day.
