Costa Coffee in Halton

I go to this Costa on my way to work, the staff are excellent, always go the extra mile and very pleasant. This is the only Costa in Runcorn that I will go to. :0)

So was given a freezing coffee and complete wrong order, woman pip think her name was snotty and rude!!! Major attitude problem! Won’t be returning at all!!!!!

Once again asked if we wanted cream on our coffee frappe to be given the vegan whip which is definitely not cream it ruins the drink and tastes disgusting. Why they constantly run out of cream is beyond me, but why ask if we want it if they don’t have it. Told them this time to remove it from our drinks. Last time we went there was no ice. I never have these problems at other Costa stores.

Great for morning coffee, forget it if you want one after 5pm Door locked and no walk in available. Starbucks just over the road 👍

We’ve been served by Laura a few times now and she’s always gone the extra mile for us! Last week she told us all about the Costa club and helped us download the app, and this week we ordered water for our dog along side our coffees, but costa were out of stock of bottled flat water and Laura gave us some tap water for him. Exceptional service, Costa you are very lucky to have such an amazing member of staff representing your brand - it’s the personal touches like this that keeps us coming back and staying clear of your competitors! Thanks Laura!

Can rely it’s open on time every day. Breakfast products out of stock a lot. Short measures on occasions. Only saving grace is it’s open before Starbucks and it’s a drive thru

Dropped into Costa with a family member at 5:50pm. There were no staff visible & we had to wait over 5 minutes for a staff member to materialise. When a staff member did materialise, she was a very unpleasant girl, who; rather than greeting us, said " you know it's take out only". When I asked if we could drink the take out coffee inside (given it was pretty cold out) she said "no" & barked our order at another staff member & then proceeded to walk around the outlet telling the customers who were already seated & drinking coffee that they had to leave. Now I appreciate that the store closing hours were 6pm; however, the drive trough was open till 8pm (so it's not like there wouldn't be staff in the outlet) & I don't see why she couldn't have just let the customers finish their coffees & lock the door to stop other customers entering. It was clear she did not enjoy her job at all. The coffee was okay but given the shocking customer service I would encourage anyone to cross the road to the Starbucks at the BP service station.

I don’t know why this place is here. They are constantly running out of things. Machines break all the time, they run out of sauce, always run out of cream and insanely enough ran out of ice!!!! Every single time I go there is an apology after I make my order. One week they only had one size cup. I’ve learnt my lesson now and will not be going ever again

Long 10-15 minute waits at the drive through and unable to provide what was on the menu. Overpriced and poor service.

Friendly staff good service. Family break all well looked after toddler made to feel welcome. Nice place to stop off for a relaxing break we found. Taken there BY locals who use regularly will look forward to going again when in Runcorn

Went here and had a cheese toastie it was dry and tasteless. I’d asked thinking I would get what I’d pointed in the direction of which was the Emmental cheese . So was disappointed plus was not offered the meal deal which I would have liked. When I complained they just said well you will know next time!!

We popped in for a coffee after a swim and decided to sit in as the cafe was large bright airy the staff were friendly and it had a nice atmosphere 😁

Nice big shop and friemdly staff but big down side is they are akways runn8ng out of Soya Milk!! Annoying have to go elsewhete for a coffee so need to sort this out

The Manager Talia and her colleague Monika made simply having a coffee a pleasurable experience. They were happy and smiling.

Went for a meeting - service was good - coffee was okay - soya milk was sweetened with apple juice which was horrible - but that’s a company decision not the problem with this venue

This has become our 'stop off' place on our way to The Brindley Theatre. There is plenty of things to choose from if you are after a quick snack. We both had the medium sized Americano coffee which was hot and tasty. On this occasion I also had the Carrot and Walnut cake which was also very nice. The staff are very friendly and keep the tables cleared and wiped down. Lots of easy chairs and sofas to sit at. There is loads of car parking and also a drive through if you want it.

Wife and I called in for a coffee. As always nice coffee, pleasant to staff and reasonable prices.We would certainly go back again.

We stopped off at this Costa on our way to the Brindley Theatre. I suspect it is quite new as it was more modern than some we have visited. I had a piece of the carrot and walnut cake which was very moist and tasty. My partner had a toasted sandwich which was generously filled. We also had a medium sized filter coffee which was plenty big enough. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean with plenty of nice comfy seats and papers to read. There is an outside seating area and plenty of car parking. Also a drive through if you need one.

This is one of the cleanest Costa Coffees I have visited. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is outside seating and other seating further away with a great view. They have a drive through and plenty of free parking.
