The best restaurants in Fylde North West

Me and my partner have made the trip twice now to Lytham House for their coffee mornings, we don't know anywhere else you can get barista coffee for £2, and only £1 for cakes and pastries. Great staff and stunning venue, we will definitely be back :)

Afternoon tea at Lytham Hall was excellent. After a tour of the hall where Denise gave us lots of interesting facts about the Clifton family we went for afternoon tea. What a great experience. Simon was the perfect host with Angela attending on us very diligently. Food was fabulous, surroundings were refined and experience was excellent. Thanks for giving us an exceptional experience.

My question is a fair one: You go into a quiet pub. You & the wife are the only people dining . You make a simple order, 1 x pie & chips, 1 x steak & chips. How long is it reasonable to wait? For me I'd have thought 20-25 mins max. So when our dinner turned up just after 40 minutes am I right to feel disappointed? Bearing in mind I had to chase the progress of the chef. Its a valid question. Maybe that's why we were the only 2 diners in there? Pretty nice food when it landed.

There are lots of cafes in lytham. We had a walk and as it was a nice day it was a case of where had somewhere to sit. This was very good and a reasonable price

We came back to 88 as the first time we visited was August for a birthday, and it was excellent. We were seated down at a table and asked what drinks we would like, then the server brought us our drinks and the menu. We had a look through the menu for the £13.99 special for Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday. It was on the back, when the server arrived we started to tell him what we would like, he then said " oh I'm sorry, we are unable to do the special menu until after new year. He told us he would do something similar to the special, when we asked would the price be the same he said we would be charged the full price for whatever we wanted, we decided to leave the food as the special was the only reason for our visit. We went to the bar and my partner told the server that he should have informed us that we couldn't have the special as it was off the menu for the time being as soon as we walked in before taking our order for drinks. I was charged £6 for drinks, and we didn't eat there. The server was at front of house taking all the flack for not having the special menu on, but was it was still advertised in the window and on line, while the owners were in the kitchen not answering to their customers. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back there again, and I would not recommend this Chinese to anyone. They have clearly misled customers and are not willing to even give you a complimentary drink for not informing you when you go in that you can't have the special menu. To say it was disappointing is an understatement, the poor server took all the comments while the owners were in the kitchen away from and disgruntled customers. Had to wipe my feet on the way out as the carpet is that dirty your feet stick to it.

If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would!!! Myself, my partner and her Aunty visited this establishment today to play their midweek bingo - we decided to go out to cheer ourselves up after a really heartbreaking 24 hours. Anyway, there is a bonus game where you pay extra for another sheet and if you get the house in under 51 calls you would win £680 - we all joined in and said if we won it would go towards mine and my partners next round of IVF - (we unfortunately found out only yesterday about a miscarriage). Anyway, to our suprise - our Aunty was waiting on 1 more number (#11), and they called it. It was literally the only joy or good luck we have had recently. They took our sheet and gave it a check and said sorry false call - we have not called 51. Shocked and confused we all checked our sheets, EVERYBODY including other tables were vouching this, nearly the whole place were in agreement 51 was called. They admitted the error and apologised and then said the only fair way is to start again. (But the chances of the under 51 call happening again would be very slim) We asked them to recall the game to find the error of the number to which they refused. They could not recall the number or the previous called numbers (even though they recited previous games). They then said it had been mistaken with 61 - which had also been called. Just before this we were told by another punter that the reason there was an electric heater was because the owner could not afford to fix the heating. (Unsure if true but a very odd coincidence) Absolute joke, everybody in there was backing us and it seemed as though they just did not want to pay out. They did not offer half the money or even the £100 for over 51 calls. They didn't so much as offer the money back or a drink. They quickly handed out new tickets and refreshed the game. We left and they didn't try to stop us, we know why!! Disgusting behavior I will never return to this place.

Absolutely fantastic food from a lovely team.

We visited the restaurant this evening and cannot believe the restaurant is closing as our meal, and the service was faultless - every tapas was served hot and in a timely manner and the food was delicious. I want to wish the team every success and will follow the chain to their new restaurants in Preston… All the very best Fino Lytham - you were great - all the very best to the fabulous team in the future 😊

The food was very bland and over-priced, some of the staff were good, however they treated some of their staff pretty badly.

Been visiting this outlet for years and we have never had a bad experience the cooking is always fresh and the portions ore a good size first class

Never Again Very slow service and the ribs were only slightly warm and very chewy. Horrible and felt ripped off

I’ve tried doner kebabs all around the world and nothing ever compares to the kebabs from Atlas. Highly recommended!
