A nice takeaway place in Lytham, conveniently placed very close to Lytham square, I had a veggie burger there and it was quite nice. Friendly staff too.

To sum it up in one word (Amazing).Been going here for a number of years now and by far quality food, I love the Donna meat and chicken they do😍, if you try you will not be disappointed and definitely be back for more😋 looking forward to my next take out, see you soon guys

I have been frequenting this kebab house for nearly 20 years .the Donna meat is not like any other kebab meat you get at other places it’s that good it almost tastes like real lamb even though it is reconditioned.proper lamb colour not the pasty colour you normally get at other establishments.its real quality.they also do mint sauce which most places never do .the only criticism I have is that they always fry half cooked chips and they makes them soggy instead of giving you fresh chips straight from the bag in clean oil .the meat amazing and if they got thier chips right it would be 5 stars .a first for me .but highly recommended. A pity they now close at 10.30pm every night as I now can’t get a kebab after the pub now

Awful full of grease and oil the food is not cooked well and the service is below par. The guy cutting the Donner looks moody doesn't want to be there

Ordered for delivery and was told it would be up to an hour. Called them after I had been waiting over an hour to be informed that they were going to make it now and then deliver.Just be honest and tell the customer how long it will actually take. If you state a time stick to it.

Been going here for ultimate food for about 25 years off and on but not anymore and am warning other customers to reconsider their loyalties. We ordered a takeaway for delivery and after being put on hold a couple of times were finally told of about a 30 to 45 minute wait. NO Problem. I was now able to plan my next half hour around the delivery. I called after a half hour over due only for the phone to ring out without being answered time and time again. We gave up on the heated plates in the oven and turned it off after an hour overdue. Not knowing whether the food was or was not coming because Ahmets wasn't answering our calls nor phoning us to keep us to date meant we that we were left hanging. Even if the food did arrive fully 1 hour and 15 minutes overdue, what guarantee was there it would be fresh, hot and not have travelled within the 3 mile radius for the last 75 minutes? We would not have enjoyed the food by this stage because of the way this outlet had treated us. We decided to rescue what we could of our night and went out in search of a meal. We judged all take away delivery plans by these standards and so, completely against what we had planned found ourselves going out to eat. Would you believe it BUT a minor miracle happened when the delivery guy phoned us 1 hour 32 mins late to say the food was here but he can't get an answer. We only kept you on repeat dial and managed 24 unanswered calls but turns out you can call your customer when it suits. Needless to say, delivery guy when told what had happened as in ordered told 45 mins gave up after 1.hour 20 and 24 calls later and sought food elsewhere, could not even manage a sorry.Thank you so much Ahmets for ruining our special evening. Just be honest instead of being greedy.. Better to have an ok kebab that comes on time than a fantastic one that doesn't and there are plenty of those about our small town LSA.Never again.

You get to my time of life and you’ve eaten your fair share of KebabsAdmittedly, a lot of them were spilt down my shirt after having had a few scoops!However, the ultimate kebab must be enjoyed whilst you’re stone cold sober - there’s simply too much kebab to wrestle with if you’re drunk. These guys know what they’re doing when it comes to putting a kebab together. All their meat is flavoursome, juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. Their Donna meat is simply the best and sliced nice and thin. Their ultimate kebab would quite easily feed a family of four, but in our case it stuffed the two of us. We had their chilli & garlic sauce added which kept all the meat nice and moist. If you like your kebabs then try this place - down side was we had a slight wait, but hey all the best things are worth waiting for.Thanks guys for a brilliant kebab - we will be back.

quick heads up never ,ever eat in Ahmets' lytham,just been in for chicken burgers,half way through felt something sharp at back of throat and coughed this piece of plastic up.couldn't figure out what it was at first then realised its a stopper off back of a biro,not only that but its chewed to pieces,big teeth marks allover it.went back in to complain, only response i got, " i am sorry but we don't chew pens here,so you are saying its happened outside of the premises? no but we don't chew pens,so its happened in the takeaway then, " maybe ,maybe not, but we don't chew pens!.well it was right slap bang in middle of my burger,not just on the side or in the paper,certainly not happened at home.i said i will report to food hygiene...." well go ahead cos we don't chew pens"absolutely gross!!been going there for 20 years + so would at least have expected shown a bit of respect when had to complainnever again!!!

Simply, the best takeaway I’ve ever had. Unbelievable freshness and quality. Imagine a restaurant quality kebab.

Me and my hubby where told about this Take Away in Lytham. I must be honest it was absolutely lovely it’s a very clean place the guys are really friendly and there are lots of choices you will not be disappointed my hubby had a large ultimate mixed cost £14.00 it was massive worth every penny he loved it I had a small chicken Shish £4.80 with salad they do pizzas and burgers plus desserts we will definitely be back.

Had heard the food here was excellent to decided to have a treat and a run out to try dont live locally but always up to try new places. Was worth the trip food beautiful and huge portion. Is a bit more than your average takeaway but is in lytham. Was nice to sit on the front to eat it too.

If you can order and enjoy a kebab without alcohol then you know it's good food. Been going for decades and it's still the best around

OMG the best kebab on the planet, made fresh while you wait with an abundance of sauces to put on it. The shop is a typical take away , the staff are efficient in this busy establishment with a nice wee system going. We had to wait about 40mins but it was so worth waiting for . Definitely going to go back and maybe try something else from their extensive menu.

Found by accident a couple of years ago we were glad to re-find again this year, and we were not disappointed!

Had a really good large donner. Lot of choice in every area, meats salad and sauces. Some of the more expensive options look huge and, I was told by another customer were delicious.Takes a bit of time but well worth it

Called in yesterday evening, not had a kebab in years and honestly expected to get a nice big pitta with skewer cooked lamb and doner meat with salad and chilli sauce on top

Ahmet himself continues to be a presence and together with his knowlagable and supportive son and staff provide the best quality healthy and genuine food on the Fylde coast..thankyou guys

Having visited this fine eatery for many years, you’ll struggle to find a better food based experience. The chicken is freshly prepared, the salad is crisp and fresh and that just the chicken kebab experience. Roasted veg trays, pizza freshly prepared alongside a range of outstanding soft drinks. The service is brilliant, the premises are spotless and the food is always outstanding.

For years Ahmet’s was the best and I have been a very loyal customer. Alas things are slipping; in our last three visits our orders have been wrong, with a whole meal missed on one occasion, onions when we asked for no onions and side orders missed on our last. Also on our last visit we were told it would be 20mins when in fact it took 45mins. Part of our order was definitely given to keep another customer from waiting ahead of us, this led to our order being kept warm on top of the pizza oven. When we got home it was soggy, luke warm, and as stated part of the order was missing that we had paid for. Everything use to be freshly cooked to order, there are meats being kept warm in pans, genuinely think Ahmet’s has had its day. Will be going elsewhere from now on I suggest you do the same.

Every time I come back to Lytham to see family I always get an Ahmets kebab. Great food and friendly service it’s what you want after a night out in the pub.

Brilliant service and one of the few places where I would buy a kebab when sober! Both the quality and quantity are rarely beaten. Highly recommended.

It's smart inside but my donner kebab wasn't nice at all with horrible meat although I've had worse elsewhere.

Used to visit here regularly about 7 years ago but fell out of the habit, revisited for the 1st time in ages tonight. Wow. The 'new' premises look brilliant, the prices are spot on, service is excellent (we were remembered from years ago) and really friendly, and the food is just fantastic. I know that's a lot of hyperbole but it deserves it, honestly I've not had a better kebab in years.

My family have been visiting Ahmet's since his days on Alexandra Road in Blackpool, over 35 years and never had a bad kebab, always top quality and a service with a smile

Went to Ahmet's in Lytham last week for a lamb kofte kebab with roast vegetables and mint dressing. What a treat! Got to be the tastiest kebab ever and, at less than £5:00 a time, a really good deal as well!

The donner kebab is a must from this place. Extra large donner had loads of fresh salad and scrumptious donner meat. Was absolutely perfect for a quick tea on a Saturday before a night out. Highly recommended...

We becoming here for years since it moved from Blackpool. This has got to be the best kebab house in the UK. It is spotless clean and the staff are so nice, the owner was there when we visited this time and even remembered my husband, so genuinely nice.

This is the worst run take away I have ever experienced. Staff were incompetent and useless..had to wait 40 minutes for a vegetarian pizza whilst being the only people in the restaurant.

Called in to try a Doner on the way home from visiting someone. Discovered it was the same chap we used to go to years ago in a different location. It was just as good as we remembered.

Offers a healthy choice for a takeaway with their chicken shish kebab which consists of lightly grilled chicken with fresh salad, vegetables and a choice of sauces in a pitta bread. Excellent value and very tasty,

I went to Ahmet's for my first ever Kebab and it was amazing my dad had the chicken shish and I had the lamb shish and I'm planning to have all the kebabs definitely a recommendation

Kebabs have recently received very bad press but I can honestly say that this place bucks the trend .I am certainly long past being a spotty adolescent , or someone with beer goggles on after a heavy night in the Pub but I can honestly say that myself and my , equally mature , friends have enjoyed many takeaways from here after a couple of pints spent putting the world to rights .

kebabs are nice but just lately the refusing to deliver which they clearly advertise. when asked why no delivery they make excuses and become quite rude. service really seems to have gone down hill.

Very disappointed ordered 2 large kebabs which were disgustingly small the amount of garlic sauce my wife received on hers was probably put on with a teaspoon. Definitely will not be using this takaway anymore.

This restaurant is in Lytham and not St Annes (two different places). REAL Turkish kebabs and you wont find a match anywhere else. On our last visit, we opted to order food here and take it to Fairhaven Lake just up the road instead of going out for a meal! Doesn't matter what you order from this take away, it will be amazing. I used to go there weekly when I lived in Lytham and have still been going there for many years since I moved away to Scotland. The owner is a great man!
