Liv always knows what i have as im in there everyday. Very nice cafe, food is very nice and Liv is always kind and welcoming. :) This is James by the way
Been here a few times and service and drinks are really good, it’s a shame it’s closing at the end of March but worth a visit before it does, good luck for the future.
Fantastic afternoon tea with friends. Cannot rate more highly. Attention to detail was second to none. All of the food was delicious, even some left over to take home! Perfection on a plate. Thanks guys. Excellent service and great prices. Will be back very soon!
Our favourite place to come for brunch after football. The team, as always, went above and beyond with the orders for our family (all with different dietary requirements).
The boys had the classic big breakfast with local products at a great price. I tried the weekend special eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The boys filled their boots. The girls enjoyed new things. The doorstop toast alone is worth the visit.
Sadly, no room for my favourite one the menu - parsnip cake, but the cake-away option meant I could enjoy it later.
We brought a friend for their first visit and she was blown away.
Up,out and about on a beautiful but bitterly cold February morning my twin brother and I were exploring around this part of the city when we dropped into Olawa Bakery .
A great looking bakery ,interior is neat and tidy, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer and staff here are superb.
We got a cherry cake each ,these were absolutely delicious, so tasty, just the sugar rush we needed to set us up for a planned walk along and around the historic Roman Walls of Chester ,loved the cakes here ,its not hard to see why this bakery it's so popular .
Olawa Bakery is easy to locate along Brook Street.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Friday, 7am till 5.30pm.
Saturday, 8am till 4pm.
Sunday, closed.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area
Warm, friendly staff. Visited many times: breakfast, Lunch, afternoon. Amazing food, freshly cooked. Seating inside/outside/conservatory. Relax and watch the world rush by... My place to go to.
Thank you to Scott and the team. Food is first class ambiance is first class and staff are so friendly, you can purchase a small range of their tableware. It is also a dog friendly environment (not that we had a dog). For a drop in tea room, it’s the best in Chester.
Superb experience, fantastic cooking and thoughtful dishes.
An opportunity to try and share fine dining and experience different flavors and combinations, in a relaxed environment and without the excessive costs that this quality of cooking could charge.
We honestly order from here at least once a month. We love Thai food but their pad Thai we are still yet to find one that beats rainbirds. Woman who runs the place is just so lovely. 10/10 recommend
Applegreen, Tarporley Rd, Lower Whitley, Warrington WA4 4EZ, United Kingdom, England
This place dumps on every other costa within a 10mile radius, I use them all & here you always get exactly what you order because the staff pay attention. I am so sick of getting a coffee that is the exactly same order that tastes completely different every single time & your lucky if its even hot. Well done Applegreens Costa, well worth the drive & the staff are always really welcoming & attentive.
Wow wow wow!!!
What can i say about Mr and Mrs Dinky, incredible scran, honestly the best doughnuts in town, i've been there more times then I care to remember, every time i'm more and more impressed. honestly i'm craving some Dinkos right now. i'm enroute now.
Not religious at all but like other reviewers found this true OASIS when looking for refreshment in Chester
Just great, lovely staff and clientele and great quality and value coffee and cakes...
Interesting selection of books, gifts, cards etc
Would use regularly if we lived locally
Staff say they may have to relocate soon due to "commercial development of the site"
Surely the Church which is not short of funds can provide an alternative venue for this wonderful place which probably does more for spreading the religious message than many more traditional churches etc...something in the Cathedral Precinct maybe??
Good luck to you all and God bless ( if it helps)
Lovely restaurant, very cosy and relaxed, all of our food was absolutely delicious, the desserts are heaven. The Owner/Manager is lovely, very welcoming and entertaining, which set the ambience for our dining duration.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.
We will be back again. Thank you.
