Fika+ in Cheshire West and Chester

Warm, friendly staff. Visited many times: breakfast, Lunch, afternoon. Amazing food, freshly cooked. Seating inside/outside/conservatory. Relax and watch the world rush by... My place to go to.

Disappointed really Stumbled across Fika when visiting Grosvenor Park. Confirmed carnivores we try to eat veggie at least a couple of times a week. We like vegan food. But not impressed. The coffee was great I had Coronation Chickpea sandwich. Exactly like Coronation Chicken except for no chicken, no onion, no raisins, no apricots & no mango chutney. Really good if you were on a no taste diet though My wife had a hot dog made from tightly wrapped vegan loo roll rolls. At least ‘fully loaded’ it was smothered in tomato sauce & yellow mustard so tasted of something. She broke her cardinal rule Never eat anything veggie that’s trying to identify as something else I finished mine. My wife ate her onions, tom sauce & mustard, a bit of roll & one bite of the cardboard cut-out sausage We didn’t complain but with hindsight we should’ve had a scone 😟

We love Fika+. The staff are so friendly, the environment is super-chilled, and they have some fantastic plant-based goodies. Between us we’ve tried quite a lot of what’s on offer and would highly recommend the hot dog, Reuben sandwich and v-egg sandwich. They also have amazing cakes, all plant based, and home-baked sourdough bread. You can’t really go wrong, whatever you order. The reason I’m giving them 4 stars rather than 5 is because of one recurring issue which I think is quite fundamental really: amongst their baked goods they do lovely chunky vegan sausage rolls. The problem is that they almost always burnt! Pastry should not be dark brown or nearly black yet, most of the time, they are. My daughter tried one as said that the filling was nice but that pastry tasted like charcoal. A real shame as, without this issue, Fika+ would be perfect. Would still highly recommend you visit though, even if you’re not vegan.

Went to the park and was so pleased to see this place open, lovely surprise, nice tea n coffee, cruffins were amazing, (cross between croissant and muffin), lovely staff and obviously a great location,well worth a visit.

Called in this morning with a friend when we went walking along the walls of Chester. Great find! Excellent and friendly service/conversation. Great drinks. Great environment, very relaxing place to stop off at. When I return to Chester for the day, I definitely will call in again on my own or with company.

I bought a sourdough loaf last week and devowered it when I got home it was delicious. Today I had a coronation chickpea sandwich for my lunch. Wowser it tasted devine and was huge … requiring me to take the second half home!!! The service was efficient and friendly. I had a feel good experience for sure👍🏻

Excellent food, coffee and hot chocolate, incredibly friendly and helpful staff who went far beyond the call of duty for us.

Lovely people, we were too late for food but they still made me a ‘cheese’ croissant. Which was lovely. Looking forward to going back for breakfast next time we visit

I absolutely love finding a place where I can safely choose any of the treats avaliable without a worry of looking at the ingredients. This little gem is fully vegan and super friendly. From the moment we walked in the staff were so nice and looked genuinely happy to be there which is lovely to see. We picked up from pastries to take home and they are so nice <3

Some of the reviews here don't seem to realise that this is a vegan cafe. Of course you're not going to get cow's milk or a "real" egg sandwich 🙄 I had a lovely hot chocolate and a vegan cheese and kimchi sandwich, with the most amazing sourdough bread, and it was brilliant. Highly recommended.
