The best restaurants in Frodsham Cheshire West and Chester North West

Went for a family meal. Gorgeous home cooked pub food. It's really reasonable priced. Staff were all lovely, too. Will be back soon.

Food was awful. Ordered 2 pork dogs that were meant to come with pulled pork. But they forgot the pulled pork. They did later deliver us the pulled pork but the rest of the food was cold by then. The sausages were tiny, hardly any onions and drowned in sauce.

I like this Coffee Shop, it serves great coffee and some nice snacks and the staff are very pleasant and friendly.

We often got to a 'dog-friendly' café and it turns out we can just sit outside and be cold and wet in winter! Not this place. Step through the arch outside the pet shop it's connected to and there's a lovely, welcoming covered over space, then a nice modern café indoors, with dogs welcome everywhere. In fact, I don't think there was a table without a dog, which is a lovely sight to see when you're dog lovers like we are. It was an interesting menu and a great selection of cakes and bakes at the counter. Staff were friendly and efficient and helpfully advised of a wait for food when we ordered but our food did arrive a bit quicker than they'd said. Fresh and tasty - I had asked if my panini could be done as a wrap instead but it still came as a panini but it wasn't an issue for me (just a bit more filling!) so I didn't highlight it. Having pickled beetroot in with the falafel worked well and added some zing. Our choice of cake was a big enough slice to share, just as we'd planned and the dusted pawprint on the plate was so cute (but the cake was almost hanging off the plate to make room for it, lol). It was a tasty but a little dry but that could've been with it being a gluten-free one. We'll certainly head back next time we're travelling through to Chester.

Hubby and I popped in here on the off chance and even though it was really busy we were accommodated, offered a choice of table and made to feel welcome. The food was delicious, particularly the warm popadoms and pickle and the freshly made nan bread. The main course portions were so large that we had to request a doggy bag and the food was just as delicious the following day! Although we are not local, the next time we are in the area we will definitely be back!

This premises is no longer trading and has been closed down for a long time. There is a for sale board outside with the adjoining bar premises also up for sale

Very disappointed with our recent experience… We ordered a ‘large’ fish and chips which we only found out they don’t do a large when we got home. The portion size was ridiculous. Not only this, everything was soggy by the time we got home and we live about a 2 minute drive away. We went back to ask for our large portion and we were told that they don’t do a large, only small or regular! Not sure why we were told at the time of ordering? £14 for regular fish and chips and spring rolls… Very very disappointing.

Amazing food and excellent service, couldn’t do enough for us. Very jolly and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

2.5 hours rhe food took. Stone cold

Lovely staff who are very helpful. My room was nice but wrongly positioned, as I had noise from the street and I was near a swinging door which people would slam open then slam shut. No hot water in the shower.

Got 2 fish and chips and got home opened them up and was shocked to see how small the portions was absolutely rip off for the price never again , we had eatin them and went in to the kitchen to mark something to eat they was that small this is disgraceful won’t ever waste near £30 pound ever again on that place

Lovely staff and atmosphere. Very welcoming place. We have visited the cafe regularly for the past 6 months and cannot fault the place. We watched a few bands there too and they have been brilliant. My only complaint is the site has let the trees grow a little and hinders the of the lovely view of the fields beyond.

Ordered a chicken burger and a kebab & fries .. got home and the chicken burger was missing ! Wasn’t even busy in the takeaway and couldn’t even get my order right !?

We were on lady heyes , and went into frodsham village , this is a lovely pub although we didmt eat other people.did and it looked delicious , we will dine next time .
