The best restaurants in Frodsham Cheshire West and Chester North West

Food was awful. Ordered 2 pork dogs that were meant to come with pulled pork. But they forgot the pulled pork. They did later deliver us the pulled pork but the rest of the food was cold by then. The sausages were tiny, hardly any onions and drowned in sauce.

Disappointed, over priced. My partner opted for English breakfast at £12.50. Two bacon,one egg,grilled tomatoes and small amount of mushrooms,one toast and coffee. For the price I would have expected more mushrooms a hash brown and some beans and a sausage, shouldn't be called an English breakfast and not include sausage. Waitress did swap one bacon for a sausage but that should have been included.

I like this Coffee Shop, it serves great coffee and some nice snacks and the staff are very pleasant and friendly.

We were stopping for a hot drink mid walk and were tempted by the delicious desserts. Whilst there, we couldn't help but notice the amazing team. There's a combination of new and experienced staff, and every single one of them was polite, helpful, full of enthusiasm and hard working. The cheese cake was to die for too! Well worth a visit.

Hubby and I popped in here on the off chance and even though it was really busy we were accommodated, offered a choice of table and made to feel welcome. The food was delicious, particularly the warm popadoms and pickle and the freshly made nan bread. The main course portions were so large that we had to request a doggy bag and the food was just as delicious the following day! Although we are not local, the next time we are in the area we will definitely be back!

Been to this place a fair few times now. The food has always been lovely. My point in marking two stars down is because of when I went to pay the bill. Today the staff member on the till, young lady wearing a coat. When she went to give me the receipt. She said to me, there is no service charge on the receipt do you want to pay a tip to the staff! My answer was no! I found it not polite and unacceptable that I was asked by a member of staff if I want to pay a tip! I've never been asked that when I've been times before and all the times I've eaten at other places I've never been asked that by a member of staff. I've always tipped off my own back if I've had good service and enjoyed the food. Because you asked yourself that's why you weren't given a tip today. Found it very cheeky of you. I hope I'm not put in that position again when I next come to dine at your restaurant

I went to this chippy today and there chips and gravy was nice and it was lovely and wasn’t bad price and I would come here again

This premises is no longer trading and has been closed down for a long time. There is a for sale board outside with the adjoining bar premises also up for sale

Managed to eat without booking on a Sunday.(Just about,we had to wait for a table).Nice cosy pub.Not great for gluten free unfortunately.I have included the dietry menu in photos.Service was OK.Only gripe was not enough chips.Desserts are lovely.Plenty of parking.

It appears that if you know the owner, then you get served quicker. Just had a guy come in behind me and because he ordered a chinese over the phone it gives him the right to go to the front of the queue and also order chips and other things. Disgusting behaviour.

Lovely staff who are very helpful. My room was nice but wrongly positioned, as I had noise from the street and I was near a swinging door which people would slam open then slam shut. No hot water in the shower.

Ordered food at about 6pm. When it was 20 minutes late I called. Lad said its on its way. A few hours and phone calls later, no food. Says they're closing and to take it up with just eat. Nice one.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. Very welcoming place. We have visited the cafe regularly for the past 6 months and cannot fault the place. We watched a few bands there too and they have been brilliant. My only complaint is the site has let the trees grow a little and hinders the of the lovely view of the fields beyond.

AVOIDS AT ALL COSTS been to this takeaway 3 days in a row paying card the past 2 days, today told me cash only without telling me prior to ordering on phone. Turned up to collect and waited for it for 10 mins he Refused to give me food as didn't have cash. Was rude. Clearly they don't think they have to pay tax like everyone else in this country. HMRC will be informed.
