Dory's Cafe/Tail Mates in Cheshire West and Chester

We were stopping for a hot drink mid walk and were tempted by the delicious desserts. Whilst there, we couldn't help but notice the amazing team. There's a combination of new and experienced staff, and every single one of them was polite, helpful, full of enthusiasm and hard working. The cheese cake was to die for too! Well worth a visit.

Called in for coffee and cake, pleasantly surprised the selection of cakes varried from fruit cake to cheese cake and everything in between, the cafe was spotlessly clean, it was nice to hear the staff chatting and laughing obviously very happy. It is dog friendly and we'll behaved humans are welcome. We are going to try lunch on our next visit the menue looked inviting so until next ti.e thank you.

We have a coffee and cake every week in Frodsham - Costa, Zucci, Castle Park. Today we thought we would try Dory's for a change. Could not believe that it closed at 4pm on Sunday, but at 3:10 we went in and were told, no, we can't have a coffee, they stop serving at 3pm. Why??? Who on this earth would go into a café and spend more than an hour drinking a cup of coffee? Why advertise that you close at 4 but refuse to serve coffee after 3pm? Clearly a business who does not care for its customers. I guess the staff, will be able to leave early - Lucky them, much better than working! No worries, plenty of others to choose from who are open longer - we won't be going back!

At half the price of rivals and with fresh food and swift, friendly service this is a winner. Good range of breakfast options from a bite to eat upwards.

Very d sad low service, overpriced and not what it said on the menu. Ordered soup- out if a can, beans on thick toast- thin cheap slices. Very disappointed after a 18 minute wait.

Fantastic, friendly and breathe of fresh air. Lovely homely atmosphere. Everything sold in the ajoined shop area for dogs. Excellent food served , great value and one of the best coffees, we love it

Great cafe 100% recommended. Excellent food and drink menu + a good selection of cakes and confectionery. Hardworking friendly staff who prepare the food and drinks freshly when you order. I always take our dog as she loves visiting getting attention whilst I enjoy a nice coffee. Well worth a visit.

This was our first visit to Dory's, but it won't be our last. We were greeted very warmly by a lovely young waitress. All the staff were helpful and attentive. There was a very good choice of food on the menu. The coffee was very good. The cafe and toilets were beautifully clean, (as they should be). They also have a covered outdoor area. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty.
