Took to long coming food was cold chicken balls were soggy batter same as spring rolls chips were frozen over all a waist of 34.00 pound never use again

Gave them an hour and an half notice for delivery and they were still late. Had to call to chase. Awful food, crispy chilli beef was like chewing on pure fat, absolutely disgusting, couldn’t taste any beef whatsoever and salt and pepper chips were soggy oven chips. Worst chips Ive ever had from a chippy. Never order from here, absolutely horrible!

AVOID, Unprofessional management, food was over 2 hours late, cold and items missing. Asked for a refund and argued it for over half an hour. A delivery driver was supposed to come out and collect the food but they didn’t turn up, after she said they had gone home after arguing with me for over half an hour on the phone. Called back up the next day to see if the refund had been processed, they started asking for the food to back from us that we didn’t have for hygiene reasons as it had been left for 24 hours and I had to bin it.

Spent over 50 quid and took over 2 hours and food was cold. Asked for refund and woman on phone was rude. Said they would send driver to pick up food and never did.

Just like to say great food ,,excellent to be honest but come on book a time slot and as always late delivery you are better than that get smart never let TIME beat your target's J.J

Chinese meals are not very nice. If you are drunk and starving then they might be okay. Everyone who has taken over this place has done worse than the ones before them.

Easily the best Chinese Takeaway in Ellesmere Port. I think we have tried the vast majority of the "recommended places", and this one is hands down the winner. However, I'm not the chef, I don't own the business and things change. Your mileage may vary, but I hope you are able to recommend it to someone else.

Ordered a chicken chow mein, arrived in a literal puddle of soy sauce, absolutely vile, absolute waste of my money

Lovely meals with affordable prices, staffs are always friendly to us. We ordered the same foods almost every time lol Singapore vermicelli, garlic butter chicken wings, salt and pepper dishes, wonton soup, black pepper beef are highly recommended!

ordered food AND DID NOT TURN UP they closed at 10 and i ordered at 10 to had to ring up ask them where my order was said they would ring back didn't had to re-contact and now it's not coming an hour later fuming wouldnt recomed blamed it on the driver

Fantastic. Food was perfect, generous portions. We ordered 3 meals so got 3 free cans of coke and free prawn crackers - amazing value especially in 2023. Will return many more teams.

Didn’t want to rate it too harsh just in case the meal does eventually turn up but previous reviews did warn us to expect a long delay!!! It said a 70 minute wait for my birthday tea on a Wednesday!!! 70 minutes has been and gone and no sign of delivery. Phoned the shop and she gave a lame excuse that she needs to wait for the driver to come back! It seemed like she didn’t even recall our online order????? Not sure whether I will ever get to sample the food…… watch this space. Update; food arrived approx 40 mins late but it was piping hot and my meal was nice, the other meal was tasteless, oops. Not sure it will be my new takeaway but the sweet and sour chicken was tasty. Also portion size is huge!!!!

Omg ...never again ... Let me think...what word best discibes my August 8 Chinese takeaway experience... Bland... I had chicken chow mein couldn't taste it.. Salt pepper chips just boring and cold... Maybe Sunday is a bad day for takeaways. My wife had chicken and mushroom.. she did not enjoy her few mouthfuls experience at all. Normally save some for next day!! Not this day tis in the food bin.. Think I'll do me a bacon sandwich.. Sad 😔

Food was amazing, really fussy with Chinese around here, but this was delicious, was the 1st time of ordering from here and portion was a good size. Definitely recommend

Hit and miss ...can bd good but can be bad.

My usual take away is close on a Monday. So i decided to give this place a go. Afraid to say I wasn't overly impressed. Everything lacked flavour. Salt n pepper chips didn't have enough seasoning. And they had shredded Carrots on them which I've never seen before. Too much carrot and not enough onion and peppers. The crispy chicken wasn't bad but the chilli sauce was bland. It wasn't thick so it didn't coat the chicken. When I tipped it out of the tray it flooded the plate. As for my fried rice I can make better myself.. It needed more soy sauce and a pinch of salt...

This was the first time ordering from here and all I can say it was the most delicious Chinese we have had in the area, the amount of food is unbelievable and had enough for the next evening tea, would highly recommend this takeaway!! Xx

Comfortably the best Chinese takeaway in the town. Perfect food every time, great value for money. The noodle boxes defy physics with how densely packed they are. Faultless.

I moved into the area and needed to find an excellent Chinese. After trying several, HANDS DOWN August 8 is the best. Thanks for the great food and service.

We're are in the area for the weekend and wanted a takeaway. I read the reviews which are mainly good so we ordered our food. I have to say the food was delicious and in quantities I've never seen before. Great quality food and highly recommended. We had enough left for our meal the next day.

Best Chinese in the Port. Amazing lemon chicken!

Looked this up on line as not local to the area. It was fabulous. Ordered and payed online, parking outside so easy to collect. Big portions and tasted great. Would definitely recommend and use again.

In our opinion the best Chinese around may look about more pricey but it is worth it and the portions are big. We have had a number of dishes from noodle boxes ,chicken nuggets, fried rice seaweed, soup it's all been good.

Oh my goodness!! Been intending to dine from here for so long and now I will never go anywhere else for a Chinese. Huge portions, super quick delivery and piping hot. It was all delicious and now I can't move. Even got free prawn crackers which you never get round here. Massive thanks, made our night! Can't wait for next time!

Highly recommended, the food is always delivered hot and tasty. Without a doubt the best Chinese locally, beats Wok and Go on the noodle boxes. Large menu choice all excellently prepared. Never had any issues.

Salt n pepper box is merch lol, you can order smaller portions of sides which is a bonus if not everyone eating likes somthing

My favourite takeaway in Ellesmere Port. Authentic chinese dishes and outstanding quality-my favourites must be the chow mein,sui mai,har kau and steamed buns. The set meal box is also a great deal for money. High quality,fast delivery and never had an issue-highly recommend.

Took over 2 hours to be delivered and when it did the order was wrong so half of it went straight in the bin as I couldn't determine what type of meat it was , save your money go elsewhere.

If you've got 10 days spare to wait for it!! nearly 2 hours and no sign. Phone off the hook. Dont waste your time

AVOID! First time I have ordered from here and will not use them again. Order arrived late, chips were warm-ups even though it was 6:45pm. Not fresh at all. There are far better takeaways in Ellesmere Port. Don’t waste your money

AMAZING food, we love this place! We're both veggie so bean curd all round, and it's so lush. Always arrives nice and hot, really fresh ingredients, not at all too greasy. Thank you so much for the beautiful carrot shapes in my meal, your chefs are such artists 🥰

terrible first time trying this Chinese and it will be the last. really disappointed it took over 1hour to deliver, when it arrived the chips were cold the meal was tasteless (chicken with mushroom) we also have the mixed appetizers which contained prawn toast which as chewy, ribs full of fat and the spring rolls had nothin in side. waste of £15.20 prawn crackers are really nice.
