Costa Coffee in Cheshire West and Chester

Really nice Costa, good food not available in all stores. For such a busy store especially on a Saturday you could help them by giving them more money for staff. Serves is slow, no fault of staff who do great job with resources they got. I did see people walk in and out due to quie size.

Standard Costa but slow service. Six staff working but still queued 15-20 minutes to buy two coffees. Yes it was peak time but I would expect them to anticipate that on a Saturday afternoon!

Really nice costa. Easy to access and wheelchair accessible. There is only 1 toilet i believe which seems to be a costa thing, but could do with more. Had a nice breakfast toastie thing. Quick service for drinks and food. Tables were cleaned even though I didn't actually see any1 cleaning them.

Crowded and busy close to Christmas. Service was efficient and fast. Tables were cleared and cleaned very quickly. Toilets were OK.

Not a large enough space for such a large shipping centre, with very little organisation at the till while waiting for drinks to be made

Very busy but staff were very nice drinks and food was lovely and there were plenty of tables even though it was busy, labels were being cleaned quite often from what I seen.

My wife and I are regular customers when we visit the retail outlet. When we were there on Wednesday 23rd October the coffee and cake was very nice but there was a cold draught coming from some of the air conditioning units. I had to move seats 3 times to get out of the cold draught. Also 3 other customers had the same problem.

Come here regularly as I work on the centre, the team are absolutely amazing , every single member is. massive credit to the company. 🫶

Guys at the counter was brilliant, fast and sufficient. The few things for me let down the shop, air-conditioning hit and miss and wobbly tables, you have to put something under the leg(s) to stop table wobble and had your hot drink all over the table

Worst service I have ever experienced in any Costa, I appreciate that when a place is very busy service will take longer, no issue with that at all, however when staff members are literally just standing there doing absolutely nothing then there is an issue, watched the person who was supposed to be preparing drinks just standing there chatting or walking in circles

Wife's hot chocolate was more froth that drink, other than that not bad

A decent sized store with good Aircon. It got very busy, I feel bad for the staff. Some customers were very rude to the staff.

Had a summer iced frappe and it was incredible... very busy shop but plenty of staff... we sat outside as it was so hot

Great food and drink but staff seemed put out by having to change things on the till once she realised we had 2 "free drink" vouchers, as only one can be used per transaction.

Service was slow, no fault of the staff who were lovely and pleasant, when are businesses going to invest in the most important part of their business, and employ the right amount of staff.

Quick, pleasant service from staff. Clean, light and airy place to relax in with a coffee and croissant.

Service is always very slow, there are always lots of colleagues about but only 1 making coffee so i always have to wait an unacceptable amount of time to get served

Slow service, expensive, poor quality drinks and some fruit flies on the pastries. Their version of a cappuccino is a flat white coffee. 😳

Very busy place. If you like quick service, this is not for u. Wait can take anywhere from 10-30 min, depending on time of day and day of the week. The sad thing is people don’t just go sit, drink or eat. They keep blowing on their phones well over the time from when they finish drinks / snacks. There is no hurry for them even when 5hey see people waiting and wanting places to sit and sip their drinks. Otherwise the staff do what they can. Maybe they can provide trays carts for mindful customers to clear the tables for the next customers.

When viewing the cakes, noticed that there were two flies on the rocky road - discretely told the cashier who advised a colleague. When given our tray, one cake and one drink was missing (bought 4 altogether), marshmallows also missing off the hot chocolate drinks. We were given dirty forks so I asked for a replacement. For an extra 50p per drink (3) we were given 7 marshmallows between us which is terrible value for money. Once at our table I realised that the replacement forks were even dirtier than the original ones! The staff weren't very apologetic about my queries. I have experienced problems at this particular venue before so won't be returning again. I prefer to visit independent cafes/coffee shops which don't seem to be available at Cheshire Oaks sadly. We did enjoy what we had but the staff just don't seem to care and the attention to detail isn't there.

This place is a joke waited 30 min to get served it was busy so this is to be expected. But when people just walking in at the back of the queue are sitting at tables and nobody is stopping them is ridiculous i will never go here again

Drinks are the best from here, had a maple Hazel latte very nice, very sweet which I like but not everyone would. Service is quite slow when there is abig queue but that's expected in a proper coffee shop

Service was great, along with the atmosphere. The food was nice but there was something about the cookie which means i would NOT have it again. As shown on the PHOTO there is nearly more froth than drink, costa is NOT CHEAP in the first place, i’m paying for a latte, not a 1/4 frothed latte.

The cafe would do with revamp but very quick service today and coffee was Costa/good.

This was midday on a Saturday so it would be busy. Spent 20 minutes queuing. Discovered that they don't do plain filler coffee which is what I wanted (a coffee shop doing filter coffee: whatever next?). Ordered a latte instead and waited 10 minutes for that to be made. Once I'd finally got it, the latte was actually ok.

Coffee wasn't up to Costas usual standards sadly and not the hottest either 🙄

Nice hot tasty food a little on the expensive side £20 for two toasties and two small coffees

Took ages for a Frappe and a Latte, however the lady did make the Latte extra hot like she was asked to, bonus.

Very disappointed- 5 staff on, and only seems to be 1 working. Staff stood doing nothing but talking. Took 5 people to close 1 behind the counter fridge. Constant que of a dozen people straight through the cafe. Need better more alert staff for such a busy shopping outlet.

Costa has got infinity better for having M&S food. I still think they do the best extra hot latte. The one I visit usually when at Cheshire Oaks has a good seating area inside and out so you can usually get somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. Service could be a little better but otherwise great and I'll be back.

Great place to chill out! Iced chocolate latte and tropical mango bubble are very tasty!

Always my favourite and the good thing is if you have a costa club card you can get free drink if any type from menu. I grabbed one after qualifying for a free drink by scoring 8 beans. They also send any new addition to clubbers first before adding them to menu so can always try any new taste first.

Service slow, more expensive than other Costa's. More ice than drink so not much flavour in frappe.

The slowest service, must have queued for over 25 minutes for just a coffee. Staff seemed disorganised and as much as there appeared to be enough staff it was a shambles.

Absolutely pathetic. Google sends you to the back of the car park from when you're inside the actual shop. Our drinks were left at the collection station that was small in the corner of the store and hidden.

Busy shop three people serving waited in line about 40minutes thought it was expensive from a point of view of coffee chocolate drink and a pepsi plus no one appeared to be clearing tables we witnessed people clearing their own spaces come on Costa sure you could offer better service than that

Visited last weekend, they had opened about an hour, only another couple in the cafe. The amount of flies where the food is was amazing. The staff were very young and disorganised, in making the drinks, between the 3 staff, they spilled ice, milk and coffee on the floor and didn't clean up, having said that their manner were impeccable when communicating to the customers 👍 the floor, tables and chairs were very dirty, I cleaned my table and I seen others, after me, clean their chairs and table also. I didn't expect this from Costa, it is my favourite brand of coffee, very disappointing.

Large Costa, didn't wait too long to be served, not very busy overall, tables were a bit cluttered but staff available quickly to clean up. Good selection of food. One of the better Costa in the area.

Having yo stand and wait for drinks and listening to staff make fun of your order isn't pleasant. Food was good and so was the drinks.

Very poor service compared to other Costa outlets. Not enough staff to manage the high traffic of this retail park café. After waiting nearly 10 minutes to be served my order was incorrect and not made together adding another 15 minutes before actually sitting down with our drinks, the barista making the cold drink orders up seemed flustered and hurried trying to get through several orders. Other customers orders were also incorrect or mixed up. The toilets were dirty too.

Very chaotic behind the counter, stopped making drinks part way through to see to someone else. The toilets are a no go area, better using ones around the corner. They are very dirty, wee and hairs all over seat and wet toilet paper all over the floor, no cleaning rota on show! They must not be checked very often!

food good & tasty, my order got a bit mixed up & I had to ask for the cakes I bought as the assistant thought they had loaded my tray.

Mad busy but great coffee and lovely sandwich. Tables are untidy but the staff are run off their feet. And it's easy to move a tray of cups. Could do with a trolley to stack trays.

Always have hotchoclate at costa ... the new tolberone hot choclate is absolutely amazing !! Toped with cream soo good

Took far too long to get served

I visited your cafe this morning. I got a latte and hot chocolate and a piece of raspberry triple cake. The drinks were cool and cake not fresh at all. The cafe for first thing in the morning at 10am did not have a clean appearance as floor was dirty under tables and toilet was not very clean.

It could do with a bit more staff instead of having one worker to do everyone so you can be waiting a very long time I will stay over 25 minutes easy depending how busy it is

Love to go to Costa with the family whilst on a day out. They've got a great selection of food and coffee!

My daughter has severe allergies to milk and egg, she’s 2. I asked a member of staff if one of their cakes was vegan friendly, she emphatically said yes it is so i bought it, something didn’t sit right as it had chocolate sauce on top, i asked another member of staff to check…low and behold milk and eggs present, the original staff member just shrugged and said ‘oh i thought it was vegan’ a few people in the queue were shaking their heads in disbelief. I was livid, certainly not what you expect from a company like Costa 🤬
