In & out within 45 mins. Great service. Food was good. Clubcard vouchers spent. Marvellous!

Went for lunch, service was great and food excellent value thanks to an o2 priority deal. Caprese salad was huge and the chicken parmigiana was lovely and hot if not a little garlicky

Really lovely lunch here having the American hottest and BBQ burnt ends. Both pizzas were a good size and full of flavour. The weight time was ok for a busy restaurant and staff were attentive.

Someone else in another review has explained this perfectly but this is no different to what you would find in a freezer isle in your local supermarket, paper thin, burnt pizza that for some reason made my jaw feel awful afterwards. My Partners pizza was the opposite of mine and stodgy, the Mac and cheese we ordered as a side was disgusting, it had no flavour, the texture was gritty and we ended up not touching it. The cheese bites we got were great, for the whole 7 pieces that were in the cup. The table we were sat at was weirdly uncomfortable, barely any space on either side and we're not big people. Overall the place is far, far too expensive for what it actually is so if you're looking to spend £60+ on a pizza, dominos or Pizza Hut is a better option by far.

Big Guy at the door was extremely rude, although there were at least ten table free he refused entry. I asked him if I can sit down with my elderly mother and wait he replied I should sit outside and they are under staffed then walked away. Owner/ management u need to sack that horrible staff! Wondering why your sales is down now you do. Will never visit again.

My sister and I came here for lunch before shopping and had a lovely time. The food was great, atmosphere was lovely and the staff were incredible! Food arrived quickly and with no fuss. Would definitely recommend!

Food was OK but prices really sneaking up and not seeing much additional value for money. Service POOR…got one starter and then next one arrived some 10 minutes later. Asked for Xmas 2 course special but was not processed so overcharged. Manager made it very clear it would be too much trouble to put it right. Left felt being over charged for an only average meal

Staff is very rude especially the manager, doesn’t seem like they love to work there! They should get an other job. Being a busy outlet especially in festive period they should know how to manage time and staff to accomodate as many customers. It’s not a small business, they need to change their manager, she kept turning away more than half of the customers that were showing up. They can do better!

Didn't even get to a table! Arrived on a Thursday just after 7pm 2 adults and 2 children to be told that there was over an hour wait for food. There were only 4 other tables in use in the whole restaurant! Absolutely ridiculous - went elsewhere!

Alex was a great server and made sure everyone was really looked after. all food was suitable for awkward allergies that are notoriously difficult to cater for. we were provided with cheese on the side for those who were allergic to dairy to enjoy. Really good recommendation for the crispy potatoes for the table. Polite and happy service for black friday (an obviously busy and stressful day).

Our server Ella was fantastic. We ordered the wrong thing (our fault entirely!) and she never made a fuss, helped us to pick the right thing on the menu even offering recommendations and the extra food came quickly. Brilliant customer service 👍

A very average experience. Definitely not worth the exuberant price they ask for. You'll find similar quality in the chiller isle at your local supermarket. They get a big thumbs up for not charging extra for Gluten-free.

I arrived at 1745 on 23/9/24 with 2 adults and a small child. Restaurant had a few customers had one waiter and was advised as he was on his own we were unable to be served until after 6 when more staff arrive which is fine and understandable but we asked if we could sit in the restaurant until then on one of the many empty tables so we can get the child settled . Waiter asked a superior who said no we should leave and come back. Not good customer service.

Visited today on a busy Saturday night. Staff were very polite with quick service. Ordered the macaroni cheese from the new menu as a main course. When it came to the table, I started eating and a couple of minutes later a waitress came to apologise as I had been given the side order portion by mistake. - The waitress kindly offered me another side order of macaroni cheese to make up for it so it would effectively become a main meal portion. However, I instead ordered the side of crispy potatoes. Kindly when the bill came, I realised they only charged me for the Mac and Cheese side portion and had taken the crispy potatoes of my bill. I thought this was incredibly kind even though my order was wrong as I would happily have paid for the potatoes as I had eaten them. Thank you all for your service :)

Went to PE on Tuesday, lovely staff and nice food. Charged twice on the card machine however. Went to eat there on return leg today Friday 9th at 4:30pm and we were asked if we had a reservation?! It’s in a motorway services area, who makes a reservation?! Just walked by the window and it’s still empty, we would’ve been in and out. Please hurry up with the duplicate refund also…

We wanted a table for 4 at 12.45, today. Waited at the door for over 5 minutes for someone to come and take us to a table ( there was plenty of empty ones) when a member of staff finally acknowledged us, we were asked if we had a reservation, when we said no, they said the next available table was at 2pm,!!! Obviously we left, as did 3 more families behind us, all saying there was loads of empty tables, and we would have finished eating by 2pm. I told the girl she was turning away a lot of money, obviously pizza express can afford to run their restaurants half empty. We went to Eds diner, where the staff are very friendly and helpful, and don't have empty tables they won't let you have. Won't be using pizza express at cheshire oaks again.

RACIST EMPLOYEES, RUBBISH SERVICE. I had a bad visit to Pizza Express. Where the employees treated us with racism. Since we arrived and were given the menu, no one cared about us. It took us a while until our request was registered. When I spoke to the employee, she responded rudely that she has another table. Then the food was brought incomplete. We kept calling the employees to bring us what was missing. I also had two girls with me. When English children come, immediately they are given colors and a paintbook EXEPT my children. we asked the employee to bring it but no one brought anything!! We also asked for water, but she didn't serve us. In the end, when paying the bill, we were surprised that an additional amount was added. When we spoke to the employee, she said it's not possible to refund! Every time we call an employee, she says wait and leaves and does not come back to us. The experience is very bad. My children were extremely upset because they noticed that we're treated differently

Pizza Express is one of my favourite places for pasta, and sadly both Pizza express restaurants by where we lived are now closed down. So it was lovely to spot one in Cheshire Oaks. The food was nice, although some of the pasta was under cooked, lots of hard pasta in mine and partners dishes. Also order a Margarita cocktail and the glass came half full. Overall nice food. The chilli prawn starter with dough balls was really nice.

Didn’t get past ordering stage , awful service staff member seemed to not want us to use 02 priority app , having not read the terms herself , getting all the information incorrect thus making it a fraught experience . Never again . Ruined our day . Gave our business to nandos instead !

Food great as ever, but service atrocious. Server allowed us to wait over 10 mins before taking any order and said their colleague didn’t tell them we were there. Child’s drink not brought with others, starter plates left for over 20 mins and was a full 65 minutes from entering to getting mains. Staff simply not working as a team at this location and it absolutely shows. Tried to give feedback at restaurant but all staff hiding by kitchen area.

Had lunch at the Cheshire oaks restaurant and our pizzas were great, and it’s the second time we visit and are served by Kat and wanted to give a shoutout for her as she is just so helpful and friendly, she made the experience absolutely great. It’s fab to be served by people like her 😍

I’ve been here a few times over the years. I’ve got to say the staff are brilliant. The food is great and it’s an excellent little restaurant,.. The Baby changing rooms are the best I’ve ever been into. Clean, Baby changing Matt and a Mobile.. this might not sound like anything unexpected.. However normally you are happy if these are clean.

Decided to pop into pizza express for lunch as it was my birthday and I had a free birthday pizza reward. Was also keen for my newborn daughter to have her first Pizza Express experience! Received a warm welcome, service was quick and the food was lovely. It genuinely is worth going for the dough balls alone! Really enjoyed it and with the free pizza and doughballs reward it was excellent value. Will be back. Thank you.

Ordered 2 pizzas 2 sides and a drink and they charged us £51, phone restaurant to make a complaint, got through to the manager and she put the phone down on me, I wasn’t even rude, then proceeded to ring back and they refused to even answer the phone, shocking and won’t be buying from here again

This pizza express is always busy, so definitely worth booking before you go. Food is always nice and service is spot on. Whenever we go to Cheshire oaks, we go here.

Ordered a Uber delivery just now. Spent £35 on a pasta dish and pizza. The pasta dish is smaller than the width of a fork, I’d eaten it in 5 mouthfuls. The pizza just as small! £35 on a meal and we are still hungry! Also the whole order was cold.

Customer service today is terrible…staff bringing plated food and willing to pile them on top of empty plates. Common sense doesn’t tell that need take away pile of empty plates even when asked staff to take them away. On to top, been squashed into small table despite asking to get puffer table. Been told that there’s no tables available. Been here for over an hour now and restaurant half empty. Frustrating feeling from such a service.

I came to order 2 pizza and a pasta to take away and I have been completely ignored at the door by 3 staff members. One lady came to the table close to the door and brought something to them but she didn't say anything to me, like sorry I will be with you...etc. another lady was cleaning a table in the middle and she looked at me 3 times but she continued to clean. I went to order from zizzi. Its a shame you treat the guests like this. Food is lovely, but I would never come back. Really disappointed

Could not believe how much we had to pay for 2 wafer thin pizzas (Florentina and American), coleslaw and 2 coffees. The pizzas were dry and overcooked and the slaw was poor. This cost us £47.05! The service was very good, but we didn’t leave a tip given the food quality and cost. Highly disappointed.

Just had a lovely lunch here and had to write a review as the customer service was excellent . We were looked after by a lovely young lady called Kat . She was warm, welcoming, polite, helpful and she immediately struck up a rapport with us . It is very rare these days to come across such customer service and it enhanced our overall experience at the restaurant. Thankyou .

Service and food here are absolutely terrible. We waited 10-15 minutes to be seated even when there were so many staff that passed by us and blatantly ignored us. There were also visible tables available. We finally got seated and the table and everything was fine. The salad was very expensive at 15 pounds per bowl. However our waitress was so unbelievably rude! At the end of our meal, we helped them stack the cutlery and plates together so it would be easy for them to clear. The waitress dropped the cutlery all over the table and she did not even apologise or thank us for helping her! What more is she had an incredibly moody and sour face that would ruin anyone's day. Absolutely terrible service and me and my family felt unwelcomed throughout my meal. DO NOT COME.

We had a lovely lunch at the Cheshire Oaks restaurant today. The food was lovely, the staff were so lovely but special thanks goes to our waitress Kat! Kat was fab, so attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again, especially to see how Kat is getting on with her new fence, ha ha! Great team - thank you!

Pizza express is always good. You know what you're going to get. Cheshire Oaks branch was very busy it being lunchtime Friday but the staff were friendly and didn't make us feel rushed.

I have to give a special notice to Nell, who was so kind and kept checking on us every minute. I also wanted to say that all of my courses was the best food of my entire life. Actually all of the waiters were so nice even when my sister wasn't happy with the meal, and they removed the specific item of the total bill and didn't complain

We always enjoy our meals at Pizza Express and our time at the Cheshire Oaks restaurant yesterday was fabulous. Kat served us and couldn’t have done more to create a relaxed and happy experience for my son’s birthday meal. Having tried to resist the temptation of a meal out, we gave in while we were passing the restaurant and decided to try to get a table. All 8 of us were seated and served swiftly and with a smile. Nothing seemed too much trouble, the vegan pizzas were amazing (as were the others too!) They even sang happy birthday to my son and brought him ice cream out and one for his brother too. Thank you Kat for being awesome! We’ll definitely be returning.

Overpriced , £3.50 for a small bottle of coke would not accept any of my offers would avoid alot better restaurants near by 1/10

I had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. The pollo pesto pasta is simply delicious with great service too

Servers were all nice, but the food at Pizza Express is generally overpriced for what it is - very thin based pizzas and generally skimp on the toppings. Our food took a long time to come out (pretty sure the table next to us who arrived 10 minutes after and had the same number of dishes had food 10 mins before ours) and my order came out wrong as I substituted toppings which weren't available for something else. After mentioning the wrong toppings was on, it took a further 10 minutes to take it off and replace it. Even still, didn't feel like there was that much meat on the pizza. The drinks seem pricey for what they are and the volume of the glass they're in. If the pizzas weren't so overpriced, I would probably consider coming more.

I visited the Cheshire oaks venue today with my partner and daughter. We attempted to come in a couple of months back but stood at the door alone not in a queue for a solid 10 minutes (no joke) before anyone came to seat us or speak to us so we walked out. Worth noting here it wasn’t rammed at the time either. So made another attempt again today as we’ve never been, it smells great and really wanted to try. Again, left waiting probably about 5 minutes before we were seated. Not the best when there was a family seated by the door and we were standing over them while they were eating. Multiple waiting staff passed us and no one bothered to say someone will be down now or it won’t be long. Service was generally slow throughout I don’t know if they were understaffed or what. We sat outside and neither inside or outside were particularly full when we arrived. Our order was taken, no one come back after that to check if it was ok or to ask if we wanted any more drinks. Our food came out and was luke warm all except for the polenta fries. Thin pizza was barely pizza in some areas it was so thin it burnt to a black charred flakey mess. (For the love of pizza, use more dough!) My daughters bolognaise (with next to no mince/ meat) was plonked down without a fork to eat it with!? I had to to shout the waitress and manager (multiple times) back over to ask for cutlery. I heard the customer behind trying to shout staff over for about 15 minutes to ask to order desert for her grandkids because become no one had been back over to ask. I should’ve know to be honest when we were waiting so long to be seated and after our previous attempt to dine here. The food itself tasted great but when taking into account the service it’s not worth the £56 we paid for lunch out. We get better service at our local hungry horse for half the price.

Such a friendly restaurant, young lady who served us, Kat, was very helpful. She was able to remove things we didn't want in our food- pesto and peppers and recommended food for out little one. Nothing was too much trouble for her. If you get Kat as your waitress you'll be well looked after. Can't wait to return

Classic pizza is best. I ordered for the first time the larger Romana pizza and it was a mistake. The thin crust was beyond thin and like a dry wafer with no dough texture at all and the topping was poor. I ordered the fungi di Bosco because I love mushrooms and garlic and tomato and cheese but the topping was sparse and the overwhelming taste was basil which wasn’t even listed on the ingredients and I hate pesto. I got a mixed side salad, very basic but delicious because it was very fresh. The pizza though was rubbish and I’ll stick to classic base next time, much tastier and more filling. The place gets busy when the shopping outlets are busy so booking is recommended. Definitely recommend downloading the app and also looking for some voucher code or deal. Otherwise I feel prices are too high. The serving staff are very friendly and overall the venue is solo friendly.

Booked a table for 5 and when ordering drinks glasses were not clean and when asked for a large blackcurrant cordial it is served warm. Glasses not cooled down and no ice. When asked for a fresh 1 was told we have no ice so i had to suggest that run the cold tap for a bit. The mains were served incorrect and 1 had to be completely remade meaning not eating as a family and when the parmesan topping was requested twice it still didn't arrive. Asked for deserts and being honest it was as though they didn't want us to have then, tried to get us to pay bill instead of taking order for them. Asked for 2 hot fudge cake with ice cream and it was served cold. When paying the bill waitress asked how i was paying and am i leaving a tip using the card machine. I usually tip everywhere in cash as so often the tips dont always get passed on but when the waitress rolled her eyes when i hit no on the machine there was no way i was going to leave a tip for below average food and service.

We visited the stunning Pizza Expesso in Cheshire oaks after a hard day's graft whilst walking on the longest walk in the history of human existence, there we were greeted by awesome staff, who offered us, not just nutritious pizza, but hope that there is still something worth fighting for in this wretched world- 5 stars

Drove all the way to Cheshire oaks for date night with my husband, music was abit loud and i asked to be moved as we we’re literally under the speaker and couldn’t have a conversatIon. The staff showed us to a new table which i was very thankful for. Looked at the menus and were waited around 15 minutes before the waitress came over , although she had been stood looking at us whilst having a drink at the kiosk, i did say to my husband if someone doesn’t come and take at least drinks order in 5 mins we will leave. The waitress Came over , she seemed so fed up and didn’t smile, i asked for a gluten free pizza, she then replied we have no gluten free bases. I said unfortunately we would have to leave it as I have coeliac disease and cant have regular bases. She was miserable and just looked at me as is if I had grown a second head, a gentleman came over and did clarify this and said I could have a child's gf base. It was a wasted journey/ petrol and the staff had an unapologetic miserable don’t care attitude, I love Pizza express and in future will attend another branch as I was made to feel very awkward and unwelcomed, especially as i have ears and could hear the waitress talking about it and us through the wooded slatted wall whilst I was still there putting my coat on. Went somewhere else and had a lovely evening but wasn’t the pizza i had set my heart on.

Excellent Pizza - the restaurant is in a shopping complex and is just a unit as such so don't expect a fantastic atmosphere, it's obviously designed for fast food!

I’ve just come out from eating here and it was such a wonderful experience. We regularly dine at different Pizza express’ as it’s my daughters favourite. At last minute I asked to add on an extra guest and I could see it was busy. I didn’t want to trouble them but the manager Chased me down the street to say they could actually do it! So that was the first 10 points :)))) Then our waiter Stephen was super attentive and we wanted for nothing. His personality is as brilliant .. accommodating without being overbearing… and he laugh at all my jokes! 20 more points!!! We will return… the food was .. as always EPIC!!
