Top Taste Pizza in Cheshire West and Chester

Used to be a really great takeaway. Recently they mess up the orders. Always missing items!

Lovely food but guy who runs it will sometimes let you pay by card and other times say no, I’ve been here paid by card for my meal, while I’ve been waiting another customer came in and asked to pay by card, he replied “no cash only”, when that customer left I asked could I buy a drink using my card, was told minimum £5 so bought 5 cans, it makes no sense to have a card reader and only let a few people pay by card, I went 2 nights ago and was told yes I could pay by card the manager said no, so the guy on the desk had to apologise and lied to say they had no connection, manager never mentioned connection to him and he’d already said yes, think he lied to make me not feel so bad, definitely a tax evasion scam going on, food is nice though.

This is one of my favourite takeaways that I will travel to, for amazing food. Staff are pleasant & friendly. A variety of food, kebabs, pizza, etc, reasonably priced, freshly prepared within view. Free street parking. Phones orders & delivery.

Customer service is absolutely abysmal, staff are constantly rude, arrogant and change their mind by the minute if card is or isn't allowed.

Mixed kebabs are amazing always friendly and food is always really nice pizzas are lovely lots of toppings great guys ....

Wow these folded doners have gone really thin, when I felt the weight of the box I knew these had changed, not £15 worth in this box. What a shame, may be one off, hopefully

Listed our requirements over the phone and found to be upsold on every item producing a rediculously high bill for a family of 4. Reviewed the order, reducing all of the upsold items to reduce the entire bill by 25 percent. Arrived to collect 30 to 40 mins later to be informed that they hadn't even started cooking the order. Reason being that the order had been changed during the order process. Had a printed receipt of the correct order in hand but claimed they were not sure what the order was. An absolute joke of a business. Be carefull as they try to rip you off with upsales. Don't waste your time collecting as they do not prepare your order until you arrive. Staff are rude and full of attitude lacking any understanding of customer service. Never ever again for me. I repeat, an absolute joke.

Honestly some of the rudest , most unhinged men ive ever had the misfortune of meeting ! Genuinely, don’t know how they stay in business! Vile little men! Makes you wonder , if they’re that rude and dismissive to your face what are they doing with your food ……..worrying!

Well.. where should I start! I went for a pizza with my partner even after all the bad press! We were spoken too very rudely and decided to leave! I then returned to ask why we were treated in this way when I was told my partner was a drug addict and had been causing trouble previously! Which I know was in correct because she doesn’t take drugs and I had been with her all night. I was then called a lunatic and had too leave as I have major anger issues, well done me

I ordered food with them they didn't get my oder correct I went back to ask for them to correct my order or have a refund they completely refused to correct my order or refund took my order away an threw it in the bin an refused completely to redo my ordered £26.30 worth of food I paid for that they didn't give me an wudnt refund me or give me the correct order I would definitely not go back here

Me and my partner got donner meat and chips each and we both couldn't eat it, it was swimming in grease and the meat under cooked, didn't even give it to the dogs it went straight in the bin and ended up cooking a spaghetti bol instead

We ordered vegetarian hot pizza to take away for collection. We are vegetarian by birth so we specifically asked for the vegetarian one but the guy who took order was not much bothered about it. We collected pizza and when we started eating , it turned out to be a non vegetarian, we could see meat and peparoni. When we called the lady on phone didn’t apologise and ask us to come back. By this time I have had a glass of wine so told her I can not drive. She disconnected my call without any resolution We have just moved into this area and our first experience is absolutely horrible. I will never go to this place again.

We ordered a vegetarian hot pizza for takeaway. When we got home, saw meat and pepperoni on the pizza. When called, they said we will have to take the pizza to the takeaway. We couldn't. The phone was then abruptly cut off. They don't seem to respect vegetarians. Absolutely not a word of apology, instead rudely disconnected the phone.

Reasonably priced with sime good offers. We got the meal deal 3, two 10 inch pizzas, 10 cheesey garlic bread and 2 cans of drink for £19. Food was really nice too. Staff were good eggs as well.

Probably the best kebab we have had, we also got the bucket of chicken wow loads of beautiful cooked crispy chicken that come with fries and coleslaw and a bottle of coke, Plenty for a family of 4. We will definitely be ordering from Top Tasty again. Very happy customers.

The best kebabs, worth traveling for. Tender tasty lamb and chicken and fresh salad with a good selection of sauces and the garlic bread is delicious. The guys are so helpful and friendly.

A couple of the lads in there are nice guys, couple of them speak to people like their dirt and it’s not the first time I have been spoken to like this, allowing the person in front of me to use the card machine but not allowing me to do the same ? Telling me to get out and go away for pulling you up on this just goes to show the lack of respect you have for customers. Get your card machine out you bunch of tax dodgers and learn how to speak to your customers

I have been going here 2 years. They got one order wrong and I was frustrated, understandably; they apologised and we moved on. The food is fantastic, fried Chicken, doner kebab, chicken kebab etc. good people who deserve the business. They put love into their food. Best takeaway in Frodsham

Ordered a pick up, when i got there he said no cards when i got my card out, and said "go to sainsburys atm" i pointed out it wasnt working he said "go to garage or tesco" i said i didnt have time as was going to work so he threw the whole order in the bin and waved me out mumbling some abuse, obviously dont want to pay tax and need lessons in customer service, just horrible

Just took my money but no chicken. This left us feeling underwhelmed and hungry. The place also randomly bans people who are unhappy

It's about time I wrote a review for this place. I have been been going for at least 2 years always ordering a large chicken kebab always 10/10 the quality is amazing remember it's a kebab shop and not a restaurant staff are lovely this deserves more stars

Great mixed kebab, the lamb & chicken was cooked to perfection, the Doner Meat was very good quality, not your normal cheap meat mix, highly recommended 👍🏻

Were contractors working in Frodsham. We eat here 3 times a week as the food is AWESOME. The staff are AWESOME. Everything from the chicken to the doner kebabs to the pizza and calzone 2nd to none

The Food is excellent. Delivery service is also very good. I recommend the Special Grill Kebab. Plenty of meat for us carnivours. It's Absolutely fantastic, succulent and tasty. Totally mouth watering even after you've eaten every bite. (So says the Fat guy on the bike!)

Typical local fast food takeaway..... Kebabs, burgers etc..... Food was decent to be honest.... Expect to pay £8 or so for a large kebab.... Service is always quick and pleasent.. would go back if in the area again....

The younger of the two males also has an appalling attitude and zero customer service skills, the older one not much better either. They were also extremely rude to a couple who had just spent over £20 in there To make things worse I had Delhi Belly all night and the following day.

5 star Kebab shop! I have had that many kebabs in my time im starting to look like one 🤣 Top taste in frodsham is by far the best kebab shop around now and im talking liverpool, warrington, runcorn, widnes you name it none of the kebab shops compete. The donner meat is one of the more expensive higher quality graded meats in top taste, its like the one family pizza use to sell many years ago. The ones you get in the oldtown now are covered with grissle, overly spiced and dripping in grease either that or a bland flavourless sloppy mess, low quality, low price garbage, that will give you stomach cramps and make you feel like your having a major hang over the next day when your dehydrated to death. Portions sizes at top taste are spot on, even the kids meals are a decent size, prices are average for the area. Food is always hot and fresh if you go in and you get plenty of salad, i wouldn't reccomend ordering though its just not the same delivered Shop is very clean inside and organised, staff are well dressed and attentive, nothings to much trouble for the guys. I will be returning no doubt about it. PLEASE if you are the manager reading this do not ever change the quality of your donner meat unless of course you go one grade better! 😁 Thanks for your service guys keep it up 👌🏻 Louie

Ordered a pizza and some sides for delivery Food arrived in good time but unfortunately the pizza base was undercooked and very tasteless The cheese sticks where cold and unappetising Rang them to let them now and was very rudely spoken to them they hung up on me (very rude) Won’t be going again 🤢🤢🤢

Please, don’t order or go to this shop for your own sake. I’ve eaten from top taste a countless amount of times over that past few years, ignoring the wrong/missing orders, rude staff and their tax evasion. However after my last visit, I am completely done with this awful Business. I don’t like writing bad reviews but I feel a need to warn those who want to come here that you will not have a pleasant time. First off, as you can probably see from the multiple other reviews on here, they don’t like to get your orders correct, they either miss things out or give you the wrong order entirely, for example last summer my friend ordered a donner kebab and instead (believe it or not) got a box of salad and jalapeños. Secondly, if you show up without cash, expect to be told off. Even though they have the facilities to pay by card, you, a paying customer, are in the wrong. and you will be greeted with a lecture “you need to pay cash next time” as they reluctantly set up their card machine and rudely put it in your face. Or as it has happened to me before, their internet playing up and so their card machine wasn’t processing the payments, however this was my fault because my bank card I got new a month prior was “too old” and not working on their broken card machine. Yet again the customer is in the wrong. Finally, yesterday my friends and I went to top taste and I ordered a small margarita pizza and a bottle of water, and i need to mention I clarified twice that I wanted the water as well as the pizza, but when it came around for me to collect, there was no water with it. I assumed he had just forgotten to put it with the pizza, which was fine so I asked if I could have it, to which I was greeted with violent checking of receipts and the manager exclaiming that it wasn’t on the order. Although this was annoying, I was okay with just paying for the water separately, so that’s what I asked to do. And when he noticed I was going to pay for it by card, the short little man hit the roof, “you must pay cash, you must pay cash”. At this point I had made up my mind to never come to this place again, and I walked out. I’m sure to some this looks like an over reaction, however things like this have happened too many times for me to count, I will never be supporting this awful business again, and I suggest you do the same.

Great food. Really great. 5 star rating from the food standards agency and they deliver. Friendly staff and good service. Did I mention that the food was great?!?! Highly recommended!

Visited this food shop whilst staying in this area was stood waiting around for our food for over half an hour proceeded to ask the staff for our money back and was told we’re not allowed our money back staff were extremely rude about the situation and point blank refused to give us our money back and proceeded to push the food in our faces the food they said they were waiting for had been sat there for ages both male staff were extremely rude not happy with the service provided didn’t communicate well with us at all

Ordered over the phone, girl took my order and I specifically asked whether I can pay by card as I didn’t have any cash and I know the manager is funny with people trying to pay by card as he doesn’t want to pay transaction fee. The girl said yeah not a problem. So I left to pick up my order and the manager asked what I had ordered on arrival, who went to retrieve it then noticed I was paying by card. He hit the roof shouting expletives while I was trying to explain the girl who took my order on the phone said it was ok to pay by card. Will never be ordering from here again. Attitude problem and not a way to treat customers. You would have thought especially with Covid around contactless payment would be best. Hope his business goes down the pan frankly. Horrible man.

Ordered a 12 inch custom pizza and a regular chicken kebab. Plus a portion of chips. Would recommend this to others. Pizza was nice. Full olives not sliced. Pizza base was like it was cooked in a pan rather than a flat surface making the base go up round the sides which was reminiscent of pizza hut. Not too bready. Not thin either. Kebab was the best I've had in a while. Great charcoal smokey flavour. Go larger if you want more. Chips were obviously from packet. Nothing to shout about there. Maybe a bit dry/too crisp but that us all. Collected and was ready after a 10 min drive.

I’m a lover of pizza I have possibly had a pizza from every takeout in crewe but this is bottom of the pile! It was burnt on the bottom tasted of nothing put tomato purée! And I asked for pepperoni.. really disappointed! Go to mar Maris!!!

We order from here all the time, the best kebabs around this area by a mile, unfortunately never again. I don’t like to write a bad review but on this occasion I have to, the people running this place are unbelievably rude and aggressive.We ordered 2 doner meat and chips and a chicken kebab, when the order arrived we paid the lad with a tip, as we always do, but unfortunately we realised there was no chicken kebab. Not a problem, mistakes happen, we called expecting them to acknowledge it was a mistake and that they’d send us one out, until the lad who initially answered the phone passed it onto the rudest little man syndrome fella I’ve ever spoken to, he proceeded to tell me I hadn’t ordered it, yet the cost of the food they delivered didn’t add up, when he realised I had his number, he then called me a liar and started screaming at me down the phone. I called 3 times, he just kept screaming at me.Upon reading the reviews on here I think they are doing this on purpose, I think they miss food off on purpose but still take the money, I am going to see who and if I can take this further as I feel he stole my money.Please never order from here, you’ll be left feeling embarrassed and very very frustrated, they seem to be aggressive con men.

I order from here all the time, the food is decent.I ordered on the 21/6/20, the food arrived, we was short a chicken kebab, I didn’t think it would be a problem until I spoke to quite an aggressive man, when I explained the small issue, I called me a liar and blamed me, then screamed at me.Absolutely appalling attitude, I was basically robbed of the cost of the chicken kebab, I am going to report these as after reading the reviews they seem to do this a lot, the place is disgusting and the people working there are a disgrace.Stay well away from these thieves.
