Excellent food with our waiter , I think his name was Craig , giving us exceptional service . Can’t wait to go back and have the portobello pizza.

Visited with grandson last week and found the service surly and slow. No real engagement with us and the coffee was weak and not hot enough despite mine being served black. Disappointing as we live locally but will not be returning in a hurry sadly.

On arrival we saw that about a quarter of the menu was crossed out, including drinks and food as they didn’t have them in. When we ordered we were also told 4 or 5 of the items we tried to order were also not available, and listening to other customers experience the same thing it must have been another a quarter that they didn’t have either. The food was fairly warm and we ordered the pork belly with honey thinking it would be a glaze of honey. It was covered in honey and after a couple of minutes it was rock solid and almost pulled one of my teeth out, not to mention didn’t move when the plate was turned upside down! The seats have no padding on and were very uncomfortable. The waitresses have a very limited knowledge of the menu as they didn’t know answers to many of the questions asked by myself or other customers regarding items off the menu, and had to go and check. This was all fairly early on a Saturday night, so I have no idea how so many items off the menu were unavailable. We hadn’t been out for a meal for quite a while and were very disappointed as we had high hopes for this restaurant in terms of both the food and the service as a whole.

We ate here on the evening of 11/4/25. Both of us felt that the food and service were excellent. The food and especially drinks aren't cheap, but you have to consider the location in this affluent village. The portion sizes were better than you'd get at some places and they dealt with a dietary change to the listed meal very well. The staff were keen to ensure we were happy, making a couple of checks. This was our first visit to Prestbury and it's unlikely we'll ever return, but if we did, we'd eat here again.

I just love the location and the oldness of this hotel. St Peter's Church is right behind it and you can hear the bells. Some people may not like this and think it is too loud. So each is own. The food and drinks were really good

The only reason I have awarded 2 stars is that the price was relatively inexpensive for a night’s lodgings. Apparently, back in the day, the Bridge was THE hotel around, complete with uniformed staff. How far it has fallen! The rooms are tiny, with poor lighting and walls painted dark colours when they need pale. The TV doesn’t get decent reception and, although the bathroom is clean, we were provided one towel for the two of us. The corridor leading to room 20 is so overheated that windows &!doors have to be left open to keep it bearable. Windows are filthy. I was told the hotel is for sale but, if so, I hope the buyer has deep pockets. Inexpensive but not somewhere you’d want to spend more than one night. Give me Premier Inn any day or, in Prestbury, The Legh Arms.

We visited here for lunch on Saturday and we're blown away with the quality and value. We both had the prosecco two course lunch, £17.95 per head was great value, did this mean reduced quality? Not a chance, it was superb. We actually booked opposite for dinner and we've both said next time we visit Prestbury our main meal would be here. I'd also recommend the Grappa for a Digestif! It was lovely. We shall visit again!!

We just dropped in for a drink on a busy bank holiday and without realising sat at an empty table that was in the area for food service, but where other pubs may have just asked you to move with no consideration - the waiter came over and kindly told us he had reserved us a table in the bar area to move to and made sure to check on us while we were there - it's the small things that make a big difference and we will definitely be back!
