La comida es de primera clase, con una gran variedad de opciones en el menú. El personal es amable y muy servicial. Un encantador restaurante.

Visitamos este restaurante durante su estancia en el hotel. Sólo nos dieron opciones por un precio fijo 2 ó 3 platos comida con ninguna opción para un solo curso. Por la calidad y el sabor de la comida era muy caro y me quedé muy decepcionado. Habiendo dicho que nos informaron de que el menú era debido al cambio así que esperamos que verá una mejora.

La comida es de buena calidad. Estuvimos sólo se permiten dos campos con arreglo a las condiciones de nuestro Golf break, pero eran muy bueno

Mi pareja y yo estuvimos alojados en el hotel y decidimos coger una cena tarde aquí en nuestra primera noche. El menú tenía muy buena pinta, encontramos más de una cosa que he felizmente tuvimos de cada plato en el menú! Así que le dimos una oportunidad! Muy buenos entrantes, de buen tamaño y muy sabroso. Nuestros platos principales eran maravillosos! pastel de carne y riñones para él y el Trío de cerdo para mí y yo incluso considerado chuparse la salsa del plato era tan bien hecho! los budines delicioso también, no puedo quejarme de ellos! El servicio era bueno, como era de esperar de este estándar, pero todavía se siente un poco impersonal, pero aún así muy educado y servicial! comida agradable y complaciente, así como fue una reserva de última hora nos hizo! Muchas gracias!

Buena selección de platos en el menú. grupo de 6 todo el mundo disfrutó su comida de 3 platos. personal atento.

Good food friendly service. waiter who was knlagable about the menu. All dishes were well presented with excellant flavours and well priced

My wife had a good meal with the sea bass, mine was the 7 ounce rump steak, cooked well but a steak full of gristle and the peppercorn sauce tasteless. When asked my opinion of the meal I was brought more peppercorn sauce but after the meal was finished. The house white wine was good and the service was fine.

Loved he food but was slightly disappointed that the main course arrived immediately (and I mean immediately) after the starter.

Excellent service, good menu choice, helpful with the kids, just a very nice relaxing setting with that little bit of added class

Great food and great staff. Very attentive and catered for our every need. The full english breakfast was probably the best I've ever eaten.

we had slow cooked steak n kidney pie with creamed mash and vegetables and guinness gravy - it was absolutely gorgeous pastry melted in your mouth mash was magnificent and the guiness gravy was to die for - portions were more than adequate and my husband had the cheese board which was huge and i had the profiteroles with 3 different sauces the choux pastry melted in your mouth and the raspberry, toffee and chocolate sauces were wonderful, it is the little touches like alan placing your linen serviette on your lap and the attention to detail was 2nd to none - the buffet breakfast was best we had had anywhere in the world

Major improvement to the quality and presentation of the food over the past six months. Great menu with some interesting twists. Excellent, professional service.

Generic hotel restaurant, nice breakfast. Also had a New Years Eve gala dinner in here which was a bit disappointing as doesnt really have the wow factor for a NYE dinner

We stayed at Mottram Hall this weekend and our dinner and breakfast were served in Nathaniel's Restaurant. The Service we received was wonderful, the choice of menu was excellent and the attention to detail and presentation was brilliant. We both enjoyed our evening meals on both nights and tried different things, wonderful experience. Breakfast was also very enjoyable with a wide variety and food was lovely. Will definitely be back - well done and thanks to all the restaurant staff !!

Liked the fact it was in the hotel - no ambience - more of a cafe feel than a restaurant - food ok - service ok - definate disappointment

The service was so slow it was ridiculous. One night our kids got so fed up with waiting for service that we gave up on dessert and walked out! Food was okay, not amazing but not awful. Just wish the service was not so appalling. 40 minutes waiting for drinks, 20 minutes for bread, 1 1/2 for main course .... disgusting.As for the kids food, awful. I forbade my children from eating the chicken nuggets as the "chicken" was grey. I am sure the cheapest supermarket no frills version would be better than what was served. The kids burger had a slightly spicy tomato sauce (??????) and chips were not cooked properly. Staff were next to useless.

Didn't stay but chose to have our Christmas lunch their this year, myself and my 80 year old parents. The welcome into the restaurant was warm, although it took a few minutes for someone to realise we needed to hang up our coats! To cut a long story short, the food was lukwwarm, the meat tough, congealed gravy, and rock hard roast potatoes, christmas pud with brandy sauce - they forgot the brandy..... The waiters in black suits were noticeable by their absence, once the guest were seated they dissappeared/ The waiting staff were quite surly, noisy and incompetent. Also when my father made the reservation he was confirmed by email it was a 5 course lunch, we had 3 courses. On leaving the restaurant we had to get our own coats from reception, my mother is ina wheelchair and I had to go and find the wheelchair myself as one of the black suits had stored it, suddenly out of the blue the black suit appeared as we were leaving the resturant, no doubt for a tip. So very dissappointed in what we expected to be a great lunch in what was a beautiful setting. And at £80 per head !!

Did not stay at the hotel, only used restaurant for Boxing day lunch.After reading thier Christmas brochure and looking at the web site I decided to book Boxing Day lunch as a treat for my 78 year old parents.What a huge disappointment it was. We arrived at 12.30pm and waited 10 minutes in reception as there was only one receptionist dealing with a complaint. Not exactly the warm welcome they promise!. We were directed to the restaurant and shown to our table. While the staff were polite, the quality of the food can only be described as embarrassing. Dried up meat platter, overcooked dried hot dishes, vegetables dried up and desserts left ambient for hours.The soup served was luke warm, the pasta and salads ok. The staff on the servery had little idea how to serve the hot dishes which were served with no sauce. As for the roast potatoes, these seemed to have been thrown into the deep fat fryer and cooked until it was impossible to cut through their skins. The deserts were again disappointing. The banana crème brulee had two pieces of black banana swimming in a sloppy custard. Not set as a crème brulee should be. Perhaps this had something to do with the fact that they were sitting in a warm room for hours.All in all an extremely disappointing meal which baffles me how they advertise Nathaniel’s as an AA rosette restaurant.
