Not reviewed for years and always had a positive experience so here goes. Called in for pre dinner drinks last week. Lovely ambience as always. Served by a young chap, very friendly. Also, he made an excellent couple of Aperols in the happy hour, which we appreciated. Sat outside at the back, possibly the best 'beer garden' in the Macclesfield area. Big umbrellas with heaters, unfortunately required in mid August.

We attended for a taster menu for our forthcoming wedding and Cherrisa who looked after us was so professional and helpful with the menu, a fabulous evening! Thank you

We really enjoyed our impromptu family visit on Saturday 6th April. We were superbly looked after by Karan whose attention to detail and allround customer service was very impressive. He knew how to keep customers happy! We will be back soon! Thank you Karan.

We couldn’t get into the Legh Arms today, so have just been to the Bridge for Sunday lunch. Can’t fault the food or the service, but the people on the table next to us had a dog with them (no problem as it’s a dog friendly hotel). The problem was the dog had obviously been in the river so it stank. The owners also allowed it to to sit on the table where they sprinkled crisps for it to lick up. The final straw was watching a member of staff remove a dog bowl from the restaurant and then come out of the kitchen carrying two plates of food - fortunately not ours. Hopefully we won’t be ill tonight! Goes without saying, we won’t be rushing back.

I recently dined at The Bridge Restaurant/Pub and had an exceptional experience. Despite the last-minute Easter roast reservation, they accommodated us graciously. Our server, Karan, stood out as one of the best we've encountered with his friendly demeanor and attentive service. The establishment's dog-friendly atmosphere added to the charm, and the food was simply amazing. Highly recommended for both pet owners and food enthusiasts alike!

I took my wife here for her 30th birthday, we both had steak which was amazing! All the food was lovely. The restaurant is beautiful and cosy, the staff are friendly and efficient. Ibrahim went above and beyond and even brought out a birthday dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday! We will absolutely be going again, there are so many things on the menu we've got to try! 10/10

Was here today with 2 friend for lunch, we shared small plates that were tasty. We had a lovely time, thanks to our waiter Gary who really looked after us. We will be back again soon!

We arrived for breakfast at 11.40 we were shown to our seats after the server checked we could still order breakfast. It took 25 minutes for 1 coffee a pot of tea and a glass of tap water to arrive a further 20 minutes for the breakfasts to arrive which we’re totally underwhelming after which the toast turned up another 10 minutes later. The second round of coffee and tea never showed up. To top it all the place was empty bar one other table who by this time we’re ordering lunch. One staff member along with a server and an other who I assumed was the manager were having a loud discussion about another staff member. All in all a bad experience all round .
