Mel is an amazing host for the wacky my children absolutely love coming here and never want to go anywhere else all because they love Mel and the slides haha! The cappuccino they make are delicious too!

Just been had a amazing day the lady Mel was brilliant with us and the children 10/10 will definitely be coming back

Fantastic dinners every day but good choice menu

I’m a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, we regularly come to the wagon and horses pub for meals out. The staff are always incredible with our residents. Always understanding, patient and provide an amazing service. They’re been nothing but accommodating and adaptive to the people we support. One of the ladies working at the pub even reserved us a section that we regularly use without any pre warning, she just did it out of being really thoughtful and this kind gesture was very much appreciated by our whole group. Food is always nice too. Thank you very much you guys are super stars! Things like this go a long way especially with our guys.

Fabulous service, welcoming and polite staff. Food always fantastic and any special requirements catered for. Think I’ve become a regular over the past few months.

Mel is the best host in soft play, always going above and beyond. Couldn't ask for a better front of house.

So disappointed, been coming here since I was a child. The food quality the past couple of times, has not been the best. Still gave it a couple of more tries, as it had been busy on these occasions but today was the worst I’ve ever had from there. The butter chicken was so over cooked i had to strip the coating off to eat it and the chips tasted like they had been cooked more than once. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Visited again, carvery was great again both staff were really attentive!

Come here once a week with a friend and our kids. Mel is great! She makes the visit, she knows all the children’s names and plays and interacts with them. She’s really friendly and on the ball. Definitely wouldn’t be the same without Mel!

We recently visited Wacky Warehouse and the place has improved a lot since the refurbishment. Mel is always very helpful and friendly with my boys and makes visiting very welcoming. I would definitely recommend for a good value for money kids soft play.

We come every week for the quiz and it’s a great atmosphere every week. Great fun with all teams and the staff are so lovely and helpful.

Was the worst carvey I’ve ever had . My first and last visit here: No turkey ! Gammon was nice but not cut for a while as first piece dry , veg was very soft obviously frozen . The roast potatoes were pale as rock hard no fresh at all .

I visited the Wacky Warehouse with my daughter tonight, and I was very impressed with Mel. We received a warm, friendly welcome, and she is brilliant with the kids. My daughter fell over and burst into tears, Mel came straight over to make sure she was okay.

Came to take my nephew for a play, a what an exceptional service Mel gave :). Talking and playing with all the children. Oh and the cappuccino I ordered was delicious too

I visit every Monday and Tuesday for the darts teams, bar staff are lovely especially Kelly. Always very warm and welcoming.

Come to the wacky most Sundays with my eldest son and youngest! Mel makes the best hot chocolate yummy! She is soo good with all my little ones and I am amazed how she knows all the children’s names! The place to be is wacky at the waggon and horses!

Had the best experience here yesterday the girls on duty were hilarious, Lisa I think her name is couldn’t do enough to make our time there more efficient she was clearly the manager and had everything under control…. Beth served our food to us and was so personable and treated my children like they were her own…. All in all great work from all and the carvery was fab too

Me and my wife called in for a quick bite to eat before getting the kids from school. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially Lisa who was very kind, polite & friendly. The food is great and there is a great selection of drinks on offer too. We would highly recommend for food or drink. There is plenty of choice for food also. Thank you for a great visit we will most definitely be returning. X

We came in for my step daughters 18th. Fast friendly service. Food was top notch. Staff were attentive and friendly. Manager made sure we were looked after and is clearly proud of his establishment Would absolutely recommend.

I came here with a lot of family and we all had a great time! The indoor play area was closed I think due to flooding after the heavy rain but the kids were happy to play in the outdoor area so that wasn’t an issue. The staff were great and happily gave us extra chairs when we were short. The staff are constantly working hard and we will be returning for sure. Highly recommended for a Sunday carvery with the family.

I love it in the Waggon and Horses it's a great pub with a nice carvery all very good value. Only negative i have is there never seems to be anyone taking charge or managing around the carvery. There are plenty of waiting staff but only one person serving behind the counter so when things run out he has to leave what he's doing to start replacing empty dishes, which then creates a big queue of people. It needs two staff on there especially at busy times. Also the server can sometimes disappear for quite a long time and nobody covers for him.

Daughters birthday lunch arrived for 3pm all had the carvery dreadful mistake the meat was dry poor choice of vegetables. I asked if there was any peas to the server he looked over and said no .. put gravy on probably not enough to be honest no sauces in the boats that was there asked again was told if there's none there then they've all gone . Food sorry to say was cold and not very appealing. All of us thought the same .Unfortunately this isn't the only time it's happened at this pub gave it a long time before we went back and will not be returning again

Helpful and friendly staff and the food was amazing.

Came by for lunch, food and drinks are reasonably priced and service quick and friendly. I opted for the carvery which was good as I could choose what i wanted. My partner opted for fish and chips which she said was cooked just right.

Great carvery with lots of choice, Yorkshire was huge and the beef was cooked just right, the man serving was nice and chatty too.

Would have liked to have given 5 stars... But the cheeky so and so's carpark has sent us a parking charge notice!!!!! We've eaten in pubs and restaurants, all over the country and never ever had to pay for parking, I don't even remember seeing anywhere to pay for parking? We were so pleased with the food that we were going to make it our regular stop when we go to the nearby airport monthly. Well certainly not going to be doing that now!

Just visited today. The pub is quite dated in the interior and could do with a refurb BUT we had carvery which was really delicious! The meat was well cooked and well carved. A vast selection of lovely vegetables too. Piping hot thick gravy. Had an enormous warm fudge cake for sweet which was moist and divine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!

I'm a regular visitor at the Wacky Warehouse at this pub. The staff are fantastic - so friendly, helpful and amazing with the children. Kelly always goes above and beyond and always has a smile on her face. I highly recommend.

Called in for a drink after work with my work colleagues as the traffic was horrendous will definitely be a new Friday thing the staff were brilliant and friendly. Perfect place to wind down after a long week at work.

Awful food and strange clientele. Won't be returning

Awful - I would not recommend this pub to anyone. Submitted a complaint over the soft play to Head Office only to receive a phone call. Spun the complaint around to make me out like a liar. Was expecting an apology, however I had to put the phone down as the phone call we realised quickly had not come from Head Office but a colleague of the lady who was really rude to us. Really unprofessional staff and the soft play manager is very argumentative. The staff member shouted at us for complaining. Disgusting service and I don’t feel that it is safe for families at all as my 2 year old son was hurt and the staff were more concerned with covering themselves than checking he was okay.

The Sunday carvery which was the only food they were serving was really poor . You can tell it was all frozen . The Yorkshire pudding were rock hard . Gamma and beef very fatty . Potato’s not cooked It was cheap but it’s just frozen food heated Service was good and staff friendly enough Would not recommend

Took my granddaughter for tea as a treat for being super good she wanted to go here as her aunt Kelly Quinn works there. The food was good and we shared a ultimate ice cream sundae which was delicious, after tea paid a short visit to the wacky to work off some of the ice cream she had a great time

We come to the wacky warehouse several times a week. I am a childminder and the pass is very affordable. All of the staff are great, especially Mel. The children love Mel as she always finds time to chat and play with them and sometimes she gives them a ballon each 😀 All of the children know her name and make a point of saying hello and goodbye to her. Mel also makes a great cup of tea. Tables are cleared and cleaned often and the equipment is clean.

I went late Sunday afternoon- it was very busy but it didn’t seem to hold things up- the staff were friendly and efficient- the wait for our food was reasonable. The meal was nice and hot. It was cooked well and delicious. Parking was ample- don’t forget to register your reg on the screen near the bar. Would come again.

Visited today as the kids wanted to go to a soft play and have a meal before hand. We had carverys which was probably one of the best iv ever had, everything was delicious, kids meals were well portioned and arrived quickly. Staff were helpful and friendly. Place was clean and tidy and well set out. Will definitely be visiting again. Well done team.

Went for a carvery, walked in to find food all over the floor. Food looked very dry. Walked out!

Came here for the carvery and it didn't disappoint the food was so delicious the meat was tender and the veg wasn't just cooked it had been flavoured and was cooked perfectly 😋

We visited the wacky warehouse last week with our 3 daughters. The girls had a wonderful time! A special mention to Mel (who was working that day). She was so friendly, welcoming and had fantastic customer service! She really made a difference to our visit so thank you we will definitely be back ☺️

Visited the wacky warehouse at the wagon and horses with a few of the school mums there was a few of us and the man who worked there called James was absolutely amazing he sorted out all of the tables so we could sit together and was so cheery and lovely just made the visit a really nice one and the kids loved him !!! Nothing was too much bother for him such a breath of fresh air as normally In play centres the staff don’t wanna be there haha we also had janes as our waiter when we visited the cavery and he was so accommodating then . He sorted a littld section out for all the family to sit together !! The food here is so nice and such a good price very reasonable as is the wacky warehouse is a good price too overall a really nice pub to visit , very family friendly and a good price .

Lovely pub, all the staff (especially Beth, Kelly and Lisa and Sam in the kitchen) are lovely and are always upbeat and chatty. Lucky it’s my local! Cheers guys x

A Lovely little spot not only for kids to play but also for parents to have a break and know kids are having the best time, Kelly is so lovely and helpful. She gave the kids free sweets for helping a lady try and find her car keys in the ball pit. Brilliant for the younger kids to explore and adventure not as busy as other soft play areas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars

We have been to the wacky wharehouse with my granddaughter and Mel the lady working in there should be highly praised for her dedication to the way she does her job the children love her she has great customer focus. Cleaning table and all the balls away just so pleasant and nice. Really will return again highly recommended this place and Mel she was just so lovely Helen

Not been for a long time and I now why I never went back food cold veg hard as nails only good think on the plate was the roast spuds so don't waste your time on the carvery

I fell victim to the car parking charge when there for a couple of hours in the evening for a darts match. Totally forgot to put my car reg in the machine inside the pub. £60 if paid within 14 days, £100 if not. Total rip off, no need for such high charges 😪 I got a response asking why did I give a 1 star review ? What would you expect when someone gets ripped off for £60 Well, I have to update this to say thank you to the Waggon team. I contacted them and they got the car park fine rescinded. That was fantastic of them, especially after I has complained about the fine. Jon

Didn't get to eat 20.10pm to late and ended up with a £100 parking eye Green kink so called campervan friendly hu.

Great soft play area, clean and not too busy. Plenty of different areas for the kids to explore. Very friendly and helpful staff.
