Absolutely disgusting customer service, my 16 year old son ordered the same take away twice as he thought it didn't go through, I call the explain the error to be shouted at and told its our own fault by the Manager, asif life isn't expensive enough and the way he spoke t9 me was appalling

Ordered a good 4 times now. Very hit and miss, sometimes it can be in my opinion better than KFC. But then it can be completely different it's very strange tonight's food was like it was from a completely different takeaway altogether. very small pieces of chicken with a very thin tasteless batter where as last time they were rather large and the batter had lots of flavour. The chicken strips looked hardly cooked and again totally tasteless where as last time they had a little brown to them and plenty of flavour. The burgers that came again looked hardly cooked and was Stonecold and just did not look the same as they did last time. Will not order again as you really just never know what will show up. Maybe it changes day to day because of different chefs but for me it's odd how much difference there can be.

Cold meat, cold pitta. Pitta had not been opened, meat just piled on top. Chips were hot, but very salty. Not happy.

Hit and miss, but thankfully more hit than miss. Pretty good, decently sized chicken. Chips can be awful and reheated. Surprisingly their kebabs are pretty good, too. Affordable prices for a modern day takeaway and so far better than ‘The Colonel’ up the road based on the shoddy reviews KFC is getting since it opened. I’ve yet to try it but will stick with Dixy if it becomes more consistent.

Guy comes with food after an hour cost £12.20 so I give £20 and ask for 5 change (so he gets the 2.80) and he says oh I only have £4 !!! :-/I have to go back to car!!!!!:-/ the cheek of it forcing people to pay a nearly 4 pound tip!! The awkwardness of it was very uncomfortable and infuriating tbh won’t order again

We ordered a family bucket, usually the food is OK, but tonight it was disgusting. The chicken smelt off and was really bad, definitely put me of this place. I will not be ordering from here again!!!!

Don't bother wasting your money at this place, I was passing through the area and decided to grab some food. Wish I didn't bother now. The burger was disgusting, chicken tasted old and was really hard. My friend had asked for donner in pitta, which was given to him in a bag for him to put together himself. If he wanted to make the food himself we woud have gone home. Wasted £20 at this place and all the food went in the bin and he charged me extra for sauces. I'm glad I don't live local to this waste off space takeaway. I'd rather go hungry or eat road kill.

Very dirty place the fella who serviced me had a very dirty hands and was picking his noise and I wanted to cancel my order after what I’ve seen he said no we can’t very rude and dirty

I don't often write reviews, but felt compelled to do so today. I'd read some dodgy reviews of Dixy Macc, so didn't have high hopes when I ordered, but I fancied fried chicken and these guys were open. So very, very glad I did. Portion size is good and they pick good pieces of chicken, clearly fresh. It's really hard to get SF batter right, often places make it too thick and claggy and it doesn't cook right. Or too thin and large parts of the chicken are not covered, or (worst of all) overly seasoned to disguise cheap meat (think KFC). Dixy gets the batter absolutely spot on, perfect consistency, beautifully crispy and exquisitely seasoned. Food arrived piping hot and early. I ordered the gravy too and it tasted heavenly, making a certain Colonel's gravy look more like swamp muck and shame in a pot. Well Done guys!

Cleanest windows in Macclesfield. They cleaned them at least twice while I was in there.

As a very regular customer, I highly recommend Dixy Chicken, Macclesfield. The food is always lovely, good quality takeaway food, fresh and hot, with fast delivery. All of the management, general staff and delivery team are just the best here, so friendly and respectful, no problem is too big for them. They go the extra mile and they're the best takeaway in Macclesfield in my opinion!

Service was good friendly and got our order quickly but the chicken was dry and had zero taste mostly due to the batter being a bit soggy and bland if they made the batter crispy and with a bit of flavour would probably go back but it was my first time and here wasn't near as good as other places in the area

It was really nice but got really bad food poisoning sickness and diarrhoea and been in pain with it, not very happy never going to eat from here again wouldn’t advise anyone to eat from here

I'm sure the standard chicken burger is two fillets, amazing flavour and by far the best fried chicken in macclesfield.

It's a rip off compare to the ones in Manchester £6 for a chicken burger meal it is only £4.50 in Manchester

Very nice food went there twice while I was there for work

I arrived late at night extremely close to the store closing time and it looked like they were just getting ready to close, however, when I walked in and asked if I could still make an order they served me with a smile and were exceptionally polite despite how late it was. I mentioned I had an allergy and they filled me with great confidence they'd take the necessary precautions to ensure my food would be safe for me and I watched them take extra care whilst preparing my order. The food was fresh, tasted delicious and they gave me extremely large portion sizes. I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for a tasty meal and absolutely excellent service! Additionally the store manager was very friendly and even gave me some extras for free which was exceedingly generous.

Friday night is Dixy night. Well this friday was so disapointing. Chicken was probably from the day before, flat, boney and dry. 4 out of the 8 pieces. Sorry guys dont believe we will be back

Card machine didn't work, took 15 minutes to tell me after the food was cooked. Wouldn't agree for me to pay at a later date. Their loss. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great food, great staff. Ordered one line once food arrived early piping hot everything was there. Tastes amazing. Food was not greasy like most chicken places. Second time went to store again same great service wasnt waiting long the manager asked if I needed anything was polite even give me as much dipping sauce I needed. Keep up the good work cant recommend a good enough chicken place.

Well what a waste of money that was - food was cold and had a cardboard taste to it, pre ordered for 6.25 pm delivery turned up at 5.30pm which is good if the people who food is for have arrived home !!??? Driver didnt have the change to give either. UPDATED - thank u guys for going above and beyond to rectify the issues I had just had aanother delivery and food was great x
