I contacted this chip shop to feed my 27 hungry Scouts, Explorers and Leaders as we were visiting Nantwich recently. Simon was extremely obliging and worked out a deal with my budget. When I collected the order it was hot and very very tasty. All the children ate everything and said how nice it was. The fish sticks were particularly nice with crispy batter and plenty of fish. Thank you Simon and your team, I'd recommend this place to anyone and if we visit the area again we'll definitely come back.

Visited on a Saturday night with a group of 11 friends. Firstly we were asked to pre-order as a large group which we did but I don't think this works for tapas. The food was tasty, well cooked & presented nicely, cannot fault the food. However, the service was terrible, despite there being a lot of Staff on duty, we felt ignored by them. The restaurant was not busy but the staff were pretty much not there. We were ignored when arriving, one friend waited 20 minutes for a gin & tonic on arrival, when chased, response was rude not apologetic at all. We were not asked if anything was alright until we had finished, nor if we needed anything else and did not have the opportunity to order any more drinks than what we ordered on arrival as no staff came near the table. We would have had a lot more drinks if able to order so the restaurant missed out here. Turns out the young inexperienced staff felt no need to be present in the restaurant to respond to our needs but were more concerned with what appeared to be socialising and eating around the bar. There is a lack of supervision of the waiting on staff, hence we purposefully left no tip. Sadly despite the food being good & the ambiance & decor being lovely, we will not visit again as the staff are so inattentive. Sadly despite Sadly despite

I visited with 3 friends on Monday 19th December for a fabulously fresh festive afternoon tea and a wonderful time. We were warmly greeted into the tea lounge, which was packed to the rafters with a large party and many other tables were taken too. There was a warm and cosy festive feel, with christmas music adding to the great atmosphere. Although the lovely staff were kept very busy, they were happy, smiling and nothing was too much trouble and we were soon seated with a festive drink in hand, which is a lovely idea and makes The Nantwich Tea Lounge afternoon tea stand out from the rest. When our bulging stands of festive goodies arrived at the table, it was very clear that everything was freshly made, with an assortment of sandwiches, which included turkey & cranberry, roast beef & horseradish and cheese & pickle, with a tasty mini sausage roll. Then we started on the layer of beautifully home baked scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam. After that we moved onto our delicately made cakes, which are lovingly created in house, (unlike in other places, where they come straight from the packet) which included a decadent chocolate truffle, a mini mince pie with a soft sponge top, a homemade glass of sherry trifle - which was simply divine. But we were defeated by the gorgeous white chocolate & orange cup cakes and had to box them up to take home. The photo I have posted shows a stand shared between 2. There was loads of goodies and it was all delicious! Without doubt this was an extra special luxurious, delicious afternoon which I would highly recommend and repeat any day of the week. Thank you to the staff, who were so friendly and helpful. If you haven't visited yet, make sure you do!

Visited this lovely little restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. This was our first visit. We live near Wrexham, so took us around forty five minutes to get here. Parked in Love Lane car park which was a couple of minutes walk away from the restaurant. Free parking on a Sunday. We were greeted by the owners, Elio and Armarilis. Extremely friendly people. We had a coffee whilst looking at the menu. We had a portion of Tequeńos and a chicken and cheese Empanada between us to start. We had a pulled pork, tomatoe, avacado, and cheese Arepa. And a Pabello Arepa which was filled with pulled beef, black beans, plantain and cheese. For dessert we had two types of cake and another couple of coffees. Quesillo and Tres Leches. Everything that we had was delicious! Really tasty. We will definitely return to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Highly recommend. Muchas Gracias por todo.!

I go here quite often for brunch with both friends and family, and always have a delicious meal and great coffee! Definitely one of the best places for breakfast/lunch in Nantwich. Only downside is the venue is very small so can be tricky at times to get a table.

Always friendly staff and great coffee. Not a huge selection of food but this is super dog friendly and a really relaxed place. My dog loves it here too as they give free puppacinos with a purchase.

Stayed the night of Friday 8th November in room 6. The room, as with the bathroom, was truly disappointing, not so much tired as exhausted. Yes, the hotel is a magnificent graded one listed buliding, more than 400 years old, yet the room and its furnishings neither reflected that age or attempted to be of today. The water in the bathroom tap was too hot to touch, while the water in the bath was at best tepid. There was a remoteness and a lack of welcome to the service we received both at reception and in the restaurant. All in all, our visit was disappointing, while our visit to Nantwich was great.

Very poor service I received today, had an issue with food, I ordered a burger chips & peas, chips were burnt and hard in the middle and peas were like stones and burger was tiny on huge bread roll . I approached female member of staff said she disagreed with me and that I was wrong! Then went over a male member of staff (owner apparently)and said do you think these are burnt??!!! He said no as he liked them like that… really bizarre response as he’s not eating the meal and found it very unprofessional also stating he only has the cafe for pleasure, again another strange comment, He then continued to asked me what was wrong & I replied the same answer 3 times. Told him we thought his attitude was terrible and needs to work on customer service & manners, his reply was I don’t care and female member of staff took my meal away! And they continued to talk about us and kept pointing over! Terrible attitude and manners from this place, however the lady that served us drinks was lovely and polite . Much better cafes in Nantwich to go to & wont be coming here again .

Really enjoyed having a little stop at this cafe for a drink. In the centre of town just off the main area it’s big enough for maybe 25 people with various tables inside and out. Toilets on site and it’s wheelchair accessible too. They allowed our dog in as he was well behaved. Lovely service and very friendly. We had a couple of cream teas with great clotted cream and home made scones - it was a great time thanks
