Guayoyo Cafe- Venezuelan Food in Cheshire East

Ordered takeout. Food was lovely and fresh tasting variety of flavours. Good price. Had an americano whilst I waited and the blend was perfect. Owners were very friendly. Would recommend and will definitely go again

Visited this lovely little restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. This was our first visit. We live near Wrexham, so took us around forty five minutes to get here. Parked in Love Lane car park which was a couple of minutes walk away from the restaurant. Free parking on a Sunday. We were greeted by the owners, Elio and Armarilis. Extremely friendly people. We had a coffee whilst looking at the menu. We had a portion of Tequeńos and a chicken and cheese Empanada between us to start. We had a pulled pork, tomatoe, avacado, and cheese Arepa. And a Pabello Arepa which was filled with pulled beef, black beans, plantain and cheese. For dessert we had two types of cake and another couple of coffees. Quesillo and Tres Leches. Everything that we had was delicious! Really tasty. We will definitely return to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Highly recommend. Muchas Gracias por todo.!

Arrived at 2.30pm for our booked meal for 8 people to find a packed cafe with no room for our booking. Literally shooed out of the cafe and told to come back tomorrow! Why wasn't I contacted to let me know, I was turned away with no explanation?

My first experience of Venezuelan food. The waiter took time to explain what the food was and how it was prepared. It was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go again and would recommend to our friends.

I have wanted to go here since they opened but everytime I went they were full. My wait was not in vain the welcome was amazing they properly looked after me I was dining alone and they whole heartedly welcomed me. I ordered empanada with pulled beef black beans and plantain it was the most delicious thing I have possibly ever tasted. I will certainly be back to try other things on the menu.

As promised we returned but this time had a very different experience! Same nice friendly atmosphere etc but on this occasion the waiter (assumed owners) was very pushy with what we should order and basically ordered for us, this is not how I expect to be treated and for that reason we will probably not return again. Not only was it not of our choice of food but this time there was an obvious downgrade to our portion size and taste to the food. Compounding this they have put their prices up. So poor service, lower quality food and a higher price. Some turn around from our previous visit and not in a good way! A true shame as it had been somewhere I recommend to everybody. But those days are now gone! Sunrise, sunset.
