This was another visit to the fabulous cafe de Paris and it was NOT a disappointment, we, 3 sat outside and ordered our drinks and food, they were quite busy and told us that we may have to wait, which we were prepared to do. However, within a short time the food was served within about 7/8 minutes. All we can say the short time was worth it. We ordered Le Provençal along with Le Parisien with drinks. Unfortunately we didn’t take any photos which we usually take. The staff took their time to suggest what we might eat there next time we go there. Certainly worthy of a visit any time.

We were visiting Nantwich and the food & drink festival and after walking around we fancied a sit down and Brunch and found this little hidden Gem. Highly recommend The French Toast 👌🏻👌🏻 Staff 10/10 service 10/10 Food 12/12 😀🙏👌🏻

Brilliant place to go with mates! Their soirée nights are absolutely second to none with excellent choices of little dishes which are great to share and some of the best wines in Nantwich! I highly recommend and have already booked many other soirée nights on their events list!

Have visited Cafe de Paris a couple of times now for drinks and had food on our last visit which was fabulous. The staff were friendly and the service was great on what was a very busy day too. I’d definitely recommend and can’t wait for our soirée evening in September.

Terrible our lovely daughter had just got married and had booked a table for 10 of us all to have breakfast but we were late due to circumstances beyond our control, we're seated and then told because we were late we could no longer have breakfast and would have to wait until 12 noon for anything to eat, Unacceptable won't be returning.we did then go to nova lounge nantwich to a fantastic reception and enjoyed breakfast which was amazing

Cafe de Paris is a particular favourite place of ours for coffee after school, or lunch with friends. My son received his GCSE results today, and requested to go here the morning he got them. He went to collect them and then, envelope unopened, we sat in our fave spot, at the large sofas near the Paris mural. He said he has so many good memories of us having after school coffee and cakes, that he wanted to open his results there! That shows how special this place is. Without exception the staff are always warm and engaging and the food is fabulous. We hadnt ever eaten breakfast here, but we will definitely be getting up early to go here again! We had the ham, tomato and cheese grilled croissant and I had the veggie version with avocado. Honestly, so tasty and I wish I could have it every morning! The coffee, is always really smooth and tastes incredible. It doesn’t jane that bitter taste that cappuccinos sometimes have, and it’s definitely the best coffee in Nantwich! The waiter and waitress who served us today were fab, and really kind, asking how my son had got on in his exams. Even though he is no longer going to school/college in nantwich, we will definitely still have our after school coffee here, and are already planning our return for more delicious breakfast

With regard to the previous review, I was at the Cafe with a friend on the afternoon of Thursday 6th August when the reported incident took place. We were also seated very close to the toilets when the spray was used. Until the other customer complained about the spray we were completely oblivious to any problem. Our experience of the visit was very different. The young staff were attentive and polite and the home-made cakes were delicious. We will definitely visit again.

Waited ages for even an acknowledgment after being seated. Then had three people in five minutes ask to take our order! Food was very average and massively overpriced….everything out of a packet and nothing authentic at all. All staff were under the age of 18 and not one of them cared about customer service, they preferred to stand around in the kitchen chatting and ignoring the customers. Not at all worth a visit and after being seated by the toilets with a staff member visiting then spraying the smellies, we couldn’t even eat the rubbish presented in front of us!! Don’t waste you time or money!!

A pretty place but perhaps the prep for covid was too much for them. A sign outside to wait there and we will take you to a table ( or something like that). After 5 mins I went in anyway after being tired of waiting and sat at a small table with my mask. Another 5 mins waiting for the advertised table service (hardly anyone in so they weren’t too busy) it no service so I walked to the ‘bar’ and asked for a cup of tea. Received a dirty look and told it was table service only. Eventually I received the tea. Waited ages for service to pay despite trying to attract attention so I again walked to the bar to pay and got another dirty look and was asked to sit down. That was enough I said I am fed up with waiting just take the money so after another dirty it was snatched from my hand and the change thrown at me. It may be a pretty place but the staff I dealt with either just had a bad day or completely lack the social skills to deal with customers who won’t put up with inefficiency. Sorry people but you can’t play the pretty French game but treat customers as if you have just escaped from prison and want to fight somebody. I look forward to hearing your response

Called here today with my hubby and very disappointed to see they were not participating in the eat out to help out campaign!!! Must be the only establishment in nantwich not doing this!! Expensive and not great service with unfriendly staff !! I’d like to ask why you are not part of the government scheme in the eat out to help out ???

First time out since lockdown.Met by the manager who is very friendly and they have a brilliant system in place.Food was perfect as always and we felt very safe.Every effort had been made. to keep people to make customers feel comfortable.Lovely coffee too.Highly recommended.

Superb little place in the town far more personal than the chain of coffee shops and a great menu of food and drinks. Staff and owner are friendly and welcoming highly recommended

Extremely friendly cafe with sheltered courtyard or cosy cafe. Dog friendly. Staff very helpful, cafe clean comfy seating as well as tables and chairs. It’s a lot bigger inside than you think. Cafe with a French twist. We had coffee and cake, absolutely delicious, very quiet too. It is just off the High Street but lots of shops to look in on the way,

We arrived Saturday morning and just fancied a quick coffee and a snack before exploring Nantwich. We found Cafe De Paris tucked away down Hospital Street. It was busy but we were able to find good seats. We just ordered lattes and croissants. We had a bit of a wait but it was worth it, both lattes were piping hot. The staff were very polite. Tables can be reserved, which is recommended at busy times.

Gorgeous food , had french onion soup with cheesy croutons followed by delicious cake and coffee. Lovely friendly staff . Well worth a visit , will be back xx

Wow lovely cafe, we went for a late lunch and had the most tasty French onion soup I have ever had with croutons covered in cheese as topping followed by a delicious piece of cake and coffee. Lovely relaxing surroundings and lovely staff. We will be back xx

I just popped in for a for a quick coffee , service was great as was the coffee . The cafe is situated in Hospital Street and is tucked away but this adds to the ambience I will return to sample a fuller menu

We called here for breakfast on the Wednesday morning for a breakfast treat as we were off work. had never been before lovely cafe,nice how its set back from the road, nice atmosphere service was good and quick, Breakfast was lovely we had the scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toast, will defiantly be back

Called in for coffee while shopping in Nantwich. Lovely clean cafe, with pleasant decor and swift, friendly service.

Great coffee and flapjacks. One thing they need to think about is the glasses they serve flat whites in. These are ordinary drinking glasses, so we had to wrap our serviette around them to drink! Due to this, probably won't go again as other cafes in the area serve in heat proof glasses. Such a shame.

Visited Saturday 14 Sept whilst Staying nearby, every time we visit Nantwich top of our list of places to visit is Cafe de Paris. Always excellent service from smiley happy staff my favourite is a Strawberry milkshake. Food always looks delicious, though on this visit it was just coffee's etc.

First visit in along time but we will be back.Best tasting coffee around.I like strong coffee but one with flavour not bitterness and this was perfect.The owner was extremely pleasant and the staff were lovely.We were a little noisy but excepted non the less.Nice not to be pounced on as soon as I entered.I was given chance to get my coat off and take and seat.I explained I was waiting for friends and asked if I'd like a drink or would prefer to wait.The coffee was smooth rich and had a nice chocolate finish.It was lovely so much so that we all ended up having 2 cups.Excellent tasty toasted croissants and brioche with amazing tasty bacon.Best of all that allow dogs.Didnt feel rushed to vacate our table.Tables and chairs nice if your eating and comfy chesterfields if your just having a drink.Nice outdoor seating area decorated with flowers.Thankyou.

Having lived in Paris, I was intrigued to see why this cafe was called so. Nice enough decor and there is seating inside and outside, as you would probably find in Paris. But there it ends! The Perrier water (as per menu) we ordered turned out to be Scottish spring water, I did not know that Parisians were used to eating British tea cakes and just because you translate stuff on your menu into French, it doesn't make it French. The entire place is run by youngsters who have not been trained in the art of 'service'. The food we had was nice enough but the coffee latte and cappuccino was so weak, you had to ask for additional espresso shots (which are chargeable). The toilet facilities are clean and nice but nobody seems to notice the loose toilet seat!

Called for lunch on a lovely sunny day. The restaurant has tables both inside and outside and we sat outside in a sheltered courtyard. We both ordered a French farmhouse ploughman’s accompanied with Sauvignon blank. Both excellent and will definitely call again.

A really quaint pretty cafe with outside space

Had two meals here recently, both came out late and not as advertised / stated on the menu. One male waiter, all the other staff are rather young females (!), was arrogant and flippant - terrible customer service, abysmal customer experience.

This is our favourite cafe in Nantwich. The food is always delicious, can highly recommend the croque monsieur and any of the breakfast dishes. Lovely and friendly staff too.

A friend and I visited for lunch. We both had a mini bottle of prosecco and the croque monsieur was absolutely fantastic. The service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Have now made several visits and it's always excellent. The lunch deal of soup, hot drink & cake is real value. The French Onion Soup is as good as any in France & the other soups are delicious too. The cake selection is superb particularly the carrot cake has a good balance of taste between cake & icing. The coffee is also first class and the atmosphere relaxed, plenty of books if you are there alone. The cafe is popular but normally you won't need to wait too long for a table.

We are regular visitors to this gem of a cafe, and always receive great coffee, food and service. Steve, the owner, is very personable and spends time chatting to and getting to know all his customers. This trait has been filtered through to his staff, who are equally as pleasant.

Have recently visited on several occasions with a close friend, we have enjoyed a warm welcome and fabulous food.

Me and my girls were going to have a quick coffee but it was so nice we stayed for lunch instead...We liked it so much we stayed for tea and cake too... Lovely friendly place.... And best soup ever!

Recommended by a friend so visited for afternoon tea/coffee and cakes, lovely ambiance, nice staff and quirky feel. Outside tables too. Loo's clean. Reasonable prices.

On route to Chester we stopped for lunch. Delightful little cafe full of character and charm. Food was delicious. First class French opinion soup and we then had one smoked salmon bagel and one toasted sandwich. Both well garnished. Thoroughly recommend this little gem.

This is a nice cafe. The cappucino was tasty, albeit a bit on the small side. The service was good. However, I was disappointed with the food. I ordered what was described as a pesto, roasted vegetable and feta baguette, which was accompanied by crispy coleslaw. The roasted vegetables consisted of two strips of, what appeared to be, pimentos from a jar and there was very little feta on the baguette. The coleslaw seemed to be a cheap supermarket variety. It's not a cheap place - over £10 for the sandwich and drink, so I was expecting it to be better.

First impressions were that this was a lovely cafe hidden away in a lovely part of the town , large sofas looked cosy and inviting and the fact that there was an area for prams and that the cafe was breast feeding friendly that we would be welcome with our children. We ordered our food which included a children’s meal , another indication that children were welcome here, while our two children played together quietly at our table , Another customer actually came over for a chat with the children. After eating the children sat together on a chair and were giggling , they were not being loud or naughty. We were going to order more coffees and cake but then we were totally shocked and embarrassed when the cafe owner/manager came over and asked us to keep the children quiet and to have some thought for the other customers . If the cafe owners do not wish to have children in their establishment they should make this clear , they make a really good effort at appearing to be friendly to families but the reality is that if you do not have silent children you are not welcome.

This is the 1st time I've reviewed this quaint oasis having been a few times over the years. The last time we called our son was with us with his dog, we were sat outside on a cold day and we were told that the 3 of us, along with the dog could sit inside. We ventured in and were served promptly, I had the soup, ( warming myself up), I can't remember what the others had, but we really enjoyed the food. Last Saturday 29th, we called again, it was a nice sunny and warm day, but we sat under cover outside. We placed our order and told it was about a 15 minute wait, it was chock a block with diners. We got our food in about 11-12 minutes. We both really enjoyed our baguettes. Well done to the staff they were not flustered at all with it being busy, good to see so many eating and drinking there. Very dog friendly. Would always visit again, with or without the dog.

Called in here for lunch with our dog. Lovely welcoming place and dog friendly is a real bonus for us. Decor lovely. Outdoor seating too. Staff were all very friendly. Food and coffee were delicious. Highly recommended- will be back soon.

Had a last minute visit to grab some lunch and wow! Service was good and food was fantastic, very child friendly. Would reccomend to all and yes I will be returning, for breakfast next time.

I had my first experience at Cafe De Paris at the weekend, me and my partner went for breakfast and I have to say the food was fantastic. Also, being a big fan of coffee myself, I was delighted at how tasty the blend was.

Great little spot , off the beaten path and super friendly. Snacky food, but well done and reasonably priced.

There are about 30 coffee shops in Nantwich, and as locals, this is one of the best. Located just behind Morrison's car park.

My children and I love coming to this cafe and in fact when I ask where they’d like to go for breakfast or lunch they always say Cafe De Paris! The food is always very good (the croque monsieur and toasted ham and cheese croissants are favourites) and the hot chocolates and milkshakes are lovely for the children too. The team are very friendly even though they are always very busy. Definitely our favourite cafe in town. Thank you x

My husband and I are frequent visiters here, and always have a great experience whether it be a quick coffee, lunch or a venue for meeting friends. Steve and his staff are so efficient and accomodating. The coffee is exceptional and the food fresh and tasty.

We often stay at Alvaston Hall Hotel and always visit Nantwich, top of our list to visit is The Cafe De Paris,always excellent service lovely food good selection of teas and coffe,my favourite has to be the milkshakes. Will be back soon.

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday with close friends at Cafe de Paris ......i decided to go for afternoon tea and What an excellent choice!!!!!! From booking this party and to when we left everything was perfect !!!!! Food......service........wine/drinks.....all fantastic.......thanks to Steve and his staff for making this a very special afternoon for us all!!!!! I would definitely recommend Cafe de Paris!!!!

Wonderful hidden gem with amazing french inspired food, very filling portions and good value. Seating is comfortable and casual and outside seating looks cute. The Croque Monseur was delicious!

Been a few times now even before owner changed and always loved the cafe :) now having a little baby it’s my number one place to visit - relaxed and so baby friendly - you feel at ease breast feeding and the sofas are so comfortable !!! Food is delicious and also we missed the lunch time run by 15 minutes the owner reassured us we can still get our bellies filled with something warm - particular important with all the breast feeding- currently organising a big catch up with other mummies but if u ever feel u need a safe place with your newborn come to the cafe :) utterly delightful - even without a baby ;)

A delightful cafe bringing a touch of Paris to Nantwich. Food is tasty, freshly cooked and served in a cosy atmosphere with attentive staff.

My wife and I had travelled from Southampton to Nantwich to visit her family for her Grandfather's funeral. We booked a table at Cafe De Paris as a part of our day out before service on the Monday.

Hidden behind Hospital Street this cafe is quite charming and well worth a visit. Very comfy, lovely looking pastries and excellent facilities for babies and young children.

Very welcoming, warm, friendly. Passed here many times with promises to visit and on this occasion we did and pleased. Service good as was the food. A comfortable cafe/coffee shop. Will deffinatly return.

Excellent espresso and soya cappuccino. Poached eggs perfect and bread was delicious. Great service too. Only minor thing was I dislike the singularly packaged biscuits with coffees. Nice touch to do biscuit with coffee but unnecessary packaging annoys me a bit.

I have visited on two occasions - once with a friend for lunch and once with my husband and fur baby. Each visit was welcoming, friendly and served the very best coffee. Our dog was made very welcome and given a treat. It will also be a lovely place to meet when it's cooler weather to relax in lovely surroundings.

Made several visits now this year and the food, coffee and ambience is quite delightful, Really good that dogs are allowed to. Everything is so well presented and very reasonable prices.

I have lived in Nantwich for six years and have only just discovered this hidden gem! Each time I visit it is always buzzing - an encouraging sign which encourages me to return - oh yes they also do the best flat white in Nantwich!

Charming little place, great menu, can highly recommend this place , hidden away, well worth going to. Steve made us most welcome and although the cafe was busy he moved us to a larger table as soon as one came free.

Chanced upon this cafe as you don't really know what to expect from the road as it's tucked down an alley. Sat outside on a super comfy chair reading magazines supplied by the cafe with a hot chocolate and toasted teacake. Could have stayed all day! Staff were all really friendly and personable, free wifi and the rest of the menu looked good. I will definitely return for lunch one day soon.

We were spending a morning exploring Nantwich but the time finally came when we had to sit down for a rest and a cuppa. We were lucky because we easily found the Cafe De Paris and it was every bit as nice as everyone else had reported.

Took advice from other trip advisor users and tried this place. It didn't disappoint. The selection was great, and included some nice gluten free options if required. Lovely gluten free flapjack, and a few other dishes can be made gluten free also. The tea was lovely, and the staff very polite and attentive. Busy little place, you can tell the locals are regulars here. Homely feel, inside and outside, and well priced.

Best coffee in Nantwich and serves an amazing afternoon tea, thoroughly enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the service. Can't fault them - highly recommend.

He estado aquí en varias ocasiones. La primera vez que vine yo no era demasiado impresionado con el quiche, parecía realmente sabrosos, pero era muy soso. Comí porque no era horrible pero no sabor de mucho. Me dio otra oportunidad y volvimos y pasamos un bagel de salmón y crema de queso. Era precioso y muy sabroso, así que esto me trajo de vuelta a un 5*. Sin embargo vine aquí recientemente y tenía la misma rosca de salmón y crema de queso y aunque el bagel estaba tostado podría decir que estaba duro y no fresco. Me decepcionó bastante después de que era tan agradable la última vez que fui!

Extraño poco lugar que solía ser mucho, mucho mejor. Creo que ha cambiado de manos.

Pedimos café capuchino y tanto a tostado. El café sabía extrañamente dulce que pueden haber sido hacia el chocolate, pero no he experimentado que en otro lugar. No es agradable. Los Warburton's tanto a eran claramente o similar y no lo que te esperas de un café y en el precio. Realmente yacky. No está mal si te gusta esto, pero no es para nosotros, el servicio y la ubicación eran bien.

Un pequeño café en el pintoresco entorno de Nantwich patio más bonito. . El extenso menú para satisfacer a todos los gustos y a un precio razonable, comparado con otros cafés en Nantwich. Sofás y sillas cubierto relajante y muchas mesas para sentarse y tomar el sol. . Menú de desayuno encantador con bagels, queso crema y salmón ahumado a pan francés con fruta. . Extensa carta de sándwich y ensaladas quiche, y todo muy bien presentado. El café y los pasteles también son de alta calidad, y además te dan servicio de camareros, que puede ser raro estos días en Nantwich. . Un bonito detalle cuidado en una cafetería agradable. . Altamente recomendado. .

He estado en el Café de París en Nantwich y sólo se pone mejor y el personal es excelente y ayudarle todo lo que pueden. Gran servicio y un muy buen precio. Pero sobre todo es muy limpio y la comida es muy fresca y se puede ver haciendo su almuerzo como usted espera. . . Envío de un muy grande gracias a Steve y a todo su personal. xxxxx

El té de la tarde reservó Facebook con Steve. Era fácil reservar y nos preguntó si teníamos cualquier necesidades especiales sucia. Una vez le dije que realmente no como salmón hizo un buen atún mayonesa alternativa para nosotros. Llegamos y nos sentamos afuera y todo el personal era muy atento y amable. Nuestras bebidas vino muy rápidamente en breve seguido por un increíble almuerzo. Tuvimos sándwiches de carne, atún, mayonesa, Turquía y apple, brie y uva corporales seguido por una encantadora selección de caprichos culinarios franceses y bollos. Fue divino. El director era encantadora y fui por toda la comida con nosotros. Estábamos muy llenos y no logramos comer fuera de la comida, así que pudimos llevar a casa para más tarde. Este fue un té por la tarde, animado por mi cumpleaños hermanas y sin duda volveremos pronto!

Just had an afternoon tea with girlfriends, tiers of delights. Great mixture of warm bites and sandwiches, delicious original filings, so many mini gateaux, and fruit scones with jam and cream. As much tea or any other beverage as we wanted. First class 👏👏

Hemos estado aquí un par de veces y siempre es muy agradable. La sopa de cebolla francesa es abundante, el Croque Monsieur sabroso y el equivalente francés de "plowman's" es también recomendable. Hay muchos cafés en Nantwich y este es difícil de superar. Está escondido en un callejón, pero no dejes que eso te desanime.

Fabuloso lugar para reunirse con amigos, familia, comida excelente, con educado servicio amable. Lo malo - por desgracia perros ladrando arruinó nuestras en general visita. Soy un propietario de perro pero dibujar la línea en perros dentro de cafeterías, tomando examen de política de perro es necesario. . . .

Es una ciudad que Nantwich no es corto, de un café. . De hecho creo que hay 24 de ellos! Después de estar a casi todos en algún momento o en otro, el Café de París es nuestro favorito por las siguientes razones:

Teníamos una habitación preciosa asignada sólo para nuestro uso y el servicio que recibimos fue muy profesional y amable.

Visitado esta mañana era precioso. Un ambiente acogedor sin prisas. El personal era muy agradable.
