Olea in Cheshire East

Lovely evening at Olea for a private party with family and friends. Could not fault anything. The food was amazing and plenty of it. The atmosphere was perfect. All friends and family sent compliments. I would totally recommend a visit

One of the weakest coffee I have ever tasted. £3.50 cappuccino which was 99% water. Shame because the food looked good and a great location.

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. All home cooked food so don’t be in too much of a rush, but so worth it. Fantastic freshly prepared meals and lovely spot in the centre of Nantwich down a little cobbled street. Amazing coffee and licenced for alcohol if you like a nice glass of wine with your lunch. You might have to pop in and book on a busy Saturday, particularly when the farmers market is on!

Our lunch today was superb. The service, despite a very busy, full restaurant, was excellent and our three meals (all different choices) were delicious. Great food, lovely atmosphere. Thank you, Silvio and team

You can discover some wonderful places, at any odd time of day among Nantwich chatter you could reach out for a small bite. You could make it quick or linger and this lack of rigidity could just get you into the greatest of good moods. Sipping spritz a gastro delight.

Went here as a family and had 2 coffees, a milkshake (which we saw being made with nesquick powder) and three slices of cake costing £28.90. I couldn’t believe how expensive it was for average cake and weak watery coffee. Staff were nice enough and the service was quick. I wouldn’t go back or recommend. Like a few of the other reviews there’s a lot of other coffee shops that are better value in Nantwich.

Absolutely wonderful experience ! The service and quality of food is outstanding, especially as they say they are a coffee shop. We came here with our grandchildren , and they were welcomed just as much as we were. My granddaughter is gluten free and nothing was too much trouble for them to chop and change what was on the menu to accommodate her taste and likes / dislikes. The Pizzas were amazing, my Pea pesto pasta was super delicious and their home made ice cream was sublime . Very happy kids and grandparents indeed ! We will definitely be back. Its wonderful when you get fantastic service with a smile and great food all in one.

Been going to this place for sometime. My portion of food was small and the coffee I ordered was half a small cup. There are now so many cafes now in Nantwich that are much better value

Hidden gem close to the church in the town with indoor and outdoor seating. Proper Italian cafe/restaurant with great menu choices including lovely pizza and regular specials. Always busy so might be an idea to book and the service is spot on Enjoy

What an amazing place to go in nantwich. Myself and a friend went to Olea for lunch, fantastic menu lots to choose from. The staff are polite and are always on hand to help, I will be definalty be going back and would highly recommend to others

It was my first time of going here I've had very good reviews on it the staff was very friendly and welcoming we had chicken and bacon salad and a seafood risotto the salad was very fresh good portion and the seafood risotto had lots of seafood in it a very good portion and very fresh I would recommend it to anybody definitely would be going back I'm very good value for money with the fresh ingredients and quality. definitely recommend it to all my friends.

Fantastic cafe/restaurant with a beautiful view of the church, coffee was delightful. Perfect place for brunch- had a panini and treated myself to a gorgeous polenta. Service was top quality with very attentive and friendly staff. Will be back soon- my new favorite cafe in Nantwich!

Lovely historical location near the church . Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. Amazing food from the owners who are from Southern Italy and Devon. Lots of character and charm, attention to detail. Clean. Excellent food- highly recommended! Thankyou!

Very disappointing. Ordered a latte and Cappuccino which were watery will a weak thin froth, no way near a proper Italian coffee. Also had the Limoncello and Raspberry Pollenta cake [two slices], the slices were small considering the £4.95 price tag per slice. Service was slow even though the cafe was not busy. Will not be making a return visit as there is plenty of choice in Nantwich offering better coffee and better value

Always excellent, food and staff are great, always pleased to see customers, never had a bad meal there. Always busy which is good so tables not always available, but you can book.

Very disappointed after being told to go here. After ordering a toasted sandwich which was around £8/£9. After ordering the bacon and chicken, I opened it up to let it cool down and to my surprise it contained 2 very small pieces of bacon and 2 slivers of ‘cold cut’ chicken. Many better places in nantwich to get an amazing toastie, more filling, better quality and cheaper.

I have eaten here a few times and can highly recommend the food. This time I had egg benedict with smoked salmon which came on muffins with a side salad. Very nice. Prices are reasonable too.

Walked past this place for a few years now and am kicking myself we didn't try it sooner. Arrived to superb friendly service from all staff. Nice selection of food and some great specials on the board. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Again, service throughout was attentive, friendly and personal. Great little place and can't wait to go back

We had a light lunch here. Halloumi fries with chilli dip, followed by churros with chocolate dip. Delicious.

I had lunch with a friend and we had avocado and poached eggs on Italian bread with salad. It was absolutely delicious, so was the aperol spritz . Would highly recommend, the staff were lovely too.

What a lovely place. The owner and staff are really helpful, polite and respectfully friendly. The food is delicious. The location is pleasant and sitting outside on a sunny September morning was like being in Spain or Portugal. Fabulous

We have taken to stopping and having wine here on a Saturday afternoon with our puppy. The owner is so welcoming and recognises us. They serve wonderful wine and it feels like I'm in an Italian cafe when we are there. The food is nice...

Looked at the menu and it seems they have everything covered off so we visited for lunch and sat outside in the sun. Excellent service and the food and drinks were high standard. We had a sandwich and a panini but will definitely be back...

I go to Olea at least once a week and I've always found the service to be friendly. A good variety of food and coffee and a lovely atmosphere.

Fab eggs Benedict, the nicest I’ve eaten, lovely and fresh. Also a great cup of tea and coffee here, the staff are helpful and attentive and it’s dog-friendly. Lovely location by St. Mary’s church in Nantwich town centre.

Booked Olea for a private birthday evening celebration and so glad I did! The owners are lovely and went out of their way to make everything special for me and my guests. The ambience and atmosphere of the venue is cosy and welcoming and turned out to be the perfect place for a gathering of friends. Now to the food .... freshly cooked and delicious!! So many of my friends commented how great the food was. The owners also cooked individual items for a friend who is gluten free. Can't recommend this place highly enough!! A wonderful night! Had coffee here many times, but had some food for the first time recently. The Eggs Benedict was fantastic. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Olea is right in the heart of Nantwich, tucked away close to the main church. Their coffee and cakes are wonderful and a big plus are the genuinely friendly staff.

We only called as our usual cafe was full but what a delight and we will certainly be returning and not just for a coffee.The owners were so friendly as was the waitress who served us.The food being served at lunchtime looked really good and well presented.

Lovely Saturday evening with friends at Olea. Staff and owner are so friendly, and very accommodating for a friend who has some complicated intolerances to some food and he was very informative of what food she can have. Food is not too overpriced, really tasty and fresh. Saturday evening menu is more limited because its a special menu just for the Saturday, but there are still a lot of variety.I would especially return just to have the tiramisu again... delicious!

Had a private function here for a family event - they opened especially for us one evening. Fantastic food and service, and amazing value. We left them to it with the menu, just asked for a selection of food for 20 people. Food variety and quantity was brilliant - and staff were very pleasant

Love this beautiful little Italian Cafe. The staff and owner are so lovely and welcoming, and the food delicious. Having just returned from Italy, we felt like we wanted a holiday reminder ! So popped in for a lovely lunch and warm welcome. Luckily they had one of my favorites on the specials Parmigiana Melanzane , Love It ! And a lovly glass of Amorone. This place is just special :)

Memorable for all the wrong reasons. Worst club Sandwich have ever tasted as dry as a camel's arse. And my partner's cheese sandwich had more chutney than actual cheese. Maybe the hot food is better but their snacks on this evidence are poor. Shame as it's a good location.

A truly lovely Italian Cafe, great service with very good Coffee and a good range of food. They have a good menu with the usual sandwiches and Paninis etc, but we always try from the specials board as they always have something new to try, or something weve tried on a european holiday somewhere ! The Seafood risotto is the best ever, and recently we had a Salt Cod cannelloni which was delicious ! Really well priced and staff all very welcoming. Our favourite stop in Nantwich

As I don't often walk down Church Lane due to the cobblestones, it was only this week I noticed this cafe/restaurant had changed hands and was now called Olea. It appearred to be a similar cafe as before but then the "Saturday menu" caught my eye. 6 or 7 starters, mains (pasta, chicken, sea bass, pork, steak, a veggie option) & desserts in the Italian style and every single item interested me. My wife, Steph and I returned for breakfast the next day (good coffee, generous egg & bacon sandwichs), spoke with owner who explained they are a cafe open during the day serving light dishes and pizza but on Saturday evenings it become an Italian restaurant. We booked for last night and on arrival were told there two specials - a crab cake starter and tagliatelle with meat balls - possibly two of my favourite dishes which I promptly ordered. Steph had a courgette and feta fritter starter with the meat balls. Their pizza menu was also available. We were persauded to have a garlic bread to begin - it was good but too much with what followed. The starters were superb - full of flavour and no sign both had been fried. The meatballs arrived - what a treat! The just al dente tagliatelle was dressed in a rustic tomato sauce, full of garlic, onion and basil with five large flavourful meat balls. Steph had the cannoli for dessert - better than any she had in NY's Little Italy and I couldn't finish my packed cheese board. The meal was washed down with an excellent Italian red wine. Their service was good, the portions were large and the owner is a lovely bloke. The bill was £91 - pretty good value for what we both agreed was one of the best meals we have eaten in Nantwich during the nine years we've lived here. If you are seeking a good value, quiet (background music at just the right level) Italian dinner on a Saturday night, Olea is the only place in town.

Wonderful restaurant (or cafe); which is located close to St Mary’s church Nantwich. Service is always excellent as is the quality of food. A good menu with daily specials. Atmosphere is chilled and relaxed. Have been many times and never disappointed.They also open Saturday evening with a menu designed for making the evening special.

First visit today, very pleasantly surprised. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Decor is fresh and clean, lovely ambience.

Recently found Olea after being disappointed with other similar cafe's/restaurants in the town. Now a regular visitor we have always had fantastic friendly service with great coffee and cake. An extensive food menu is available which we have yet to try. Do call in and try for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed

Great little spot off the beaten path so to speak but wow what an amazing place, been a few times now and i must say its coffee and cakes are fantastic. The staff super friendly and always ready to help.....Always busy but well worth the effort.

I think that the only evening service that Olea offers is on a Saturday. From outside the tables with their candles looked really inviting through the windows. The menu was a little limited but with variety and we ordered pork medallions and chicken in Parma ham with a nice bottle of Fiano, all thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were attentive but easy, relaxed and efficient. What more could we ask, we will soon pay a return visit.

Called for coffee with a friend yesterday at about 10.30. Warm welcome and lucky to get a seat as it was very busy. I was struck by the happy vibe and, unusually for a café in my experience, a real sense of community. There was a variety of customers, singles, couples, groups of ladies, a couple of guys, all chatting and clearly loving the place. Some were greeted by their first names, regulars perhaps. We had had breakfast at our hotel so didn’t eat but the food looked lovely. As did the cakes. My friend had a hot chocolate and I asked for a soya milk latte. Both good and served with those lovely little caramel biscuits. We did manage to eat those. I so wish we had a place like this near home. I think it’s open on Saturday evening too.

Have read the outstanding reviews and having used the cafe during the day we we keen to try this new restaurant which we were told only opens at weekends.

This is a bit of a gem. I'm working my way round the breakfast menu at the moment. So far everything is great, very tasty. The coffee is good too. The staff are very friendly and remember what you drink. It's a big bonus that we can take our little dog there and he is made welcome too.

I love this place it has a lovely atmosphere - a buzz about it. It can get busy. It has a great range of food from meals to cake and I believe that you can buy the cake to take home if you are too full! We have been several times and I will go again. On one of my visits I did have an issue with the food order but it was dealt with promptly and very well. If you are in Nantwich and hungry you need to try Olea

Just had the most amazing meal and exemplary service that you could wish for !! we came across this lovely little find by chance, its close to the Church of Nantwich. From start to finish our visit here was wonderful. Crisp chillled Sauvignon wine, and a full bodied red that ive forgotten the name of,but both delicious . The Oxtail ravioli melted in the mouth, and my seabass was exquisite. Will definitely be back for more lovely charming experience, and a wonderful host from the owner Silviow. Definitely a wonderful find and will recommend to all !!

Came across Olea by accident and what a delight. We enjoyed a lunch for six people, every aspect of which was excellent. Great service, great staff and AMAZING food. The restaurant is a bit tucked away, but search it out (Church Lane). This will definitely become a regular stop for my partner and l.

As said i love this little cafe. It has a real buzz about it and can get busy. Their Specials are amazing!!, and they have the usual sandwiches and panini offerings on the daily menu and all day breakfasts. The pizzas are really fantastic too, my partner loves the 'Olea' one, and i tried the special pasta tagliatelle. They also have Greek beer Mythos which weve had on holiday before. Cocktails are lovely too, Rose Bellini delicious.

We have visited this restaurant several times over the past few months ( for Dinner) with family and friends , we have also taken our grandchildren .On every occasion we have been extremely pleased with the ambience , friendly staff and , of course, the authentic Italian cooking and wine ( there are typically English dishes available as well ).

I just love this little Italian Restaurant. It is very cosy, well run, fantastic food and very good service in a beautiful location in Nantwich looking out on St Mary's Church.

A little bit of Italy in the centre of Nantwich. Lovely atmosphere whatever time you go. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. There is an extensive daytime menu with a specials board adding to the options.

When I cannot be bothered to cook breakfast (which is every weekend), I always go here as they have the one thing correct when selling food...same plate, every time. So you always know what you are getting, and when it is nice, value for money and nice staff, it is a great bonus.

Whether you just want coffee, cake or lunch or even better dinner on Saturday night I would recommend Olea. Chilled atmosphere, friendly and attentive owners and staff. Can't wait for my next visit.

This coffee shop in Nantwich (formerly Relish) near the church now offers a dinner menu on Saturday evenings only. It was delightful. The menu may be small (a choice of 4 starters, mains and desserts) but the food was fresh and lovingly prepared. The carpaccio was delicious and we really enjoyed the salt cod open ravioli, which was creamy and melt in the mouth. Good presentation and service. I hope this venture does well as they deserve it.
