I wanted to leave a review as I couldn’t believe there was even one bad review on here! Really delicious breakfast and great service, we had the steak rosti, which was cooked to perfection with a perfect runny egg! It’s great that there are a few different breakfast options on there, which typically you don’t get in other places. We even overheard someone saying “it was the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had” as they were leaving, so I know what I’ll be getting next time :)

Well, what can l say, warm welcome, excellent service and really good food. Thoroughly enjoyed it, will definitely return on my next visit.

As soon as you walk in you get a warm welcome, great atmosphere, and the cocktails are great lots of different choices. I will definitely be back to try the food and more cocktails.

Review: Don Alberto Restaurant, Holmes Chapel Don Alberto Restaurant in Holmes Chapel is a gem of an Italian restaurant that delivers really good food. I recently visited with friends and was thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient—and the food was really good, full of flavour and well presented, I had the Rigatoni Filletto, which was very nice indeed. The recent refurbishment has transformed the restaurant, creating a warm and inviting ambience. As we were leaving, we chatted with other who shared our view on the good, which speaks volumes about the consistency of this place. Don Alberto is a great spot in Holmes Chapel. Highly recommended for anyone seeking good Italian food and a nice atmosphere.

For a family gathering we booked the Crown Inn. Ordered the food and it arrived quickly and was excellent. Definitely going back!

The setting is undeniably beautiful, complemented by a warm welcome from the staff, who are clearly well-trained in delivering exceptional silver service. The menu offers a well-balanced selection of cuisine, ensuring there's something to delight every palate. The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of exquisite, and the flavors were simply delightful. The staff were remarkably attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant were both appealing and comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Yellow Broom is a truly first-class establishment that consistently maintains high standards. I highly recommend a visit—you will not be disappointed.

What a warm friendly welcome, the food was exceptional and the B&B was beautiful. There is a real homely feel and Jan and the staff couldn’t be more helpful, a real delight. Highly recommend it from breakfast to high tea!

First time visiting the Space Invader today. Arranged a birthday lunch for a family birthday/Mothers Day celebration. Have to say we were so impressed with the venue, food and staff! Everyone said how friendly and efficient they were. Meals were delicious and served promptly (pre-ordered). We will definitely be back here again!

La comida, el establecimiento y el servicio son atroces! Me desconcierta quién le ha dado a esto una calificación de 5 estrellas, lo más probable es que hayan atado amigos y familiares para calificar. Pedimos que se entregara comida que era tarde, que podría haberse pasado por alto, pero la comida era asquerosa. Probado y las 3 piezas que estaban en el korma no se cocinaron! Terminó arruinando todo el lote.

My first ever review on here ! I don’t normally write reviews but this little gem of a place needs a mention! Lovely warm welcome by the owner and her small team, met with proper coffee and a superb lunch - I had Welsh rarebit and my friend had the poached eggs on toast - both done to perfection! I don’t even like coleslaw, but decided to try it after my friend said how nice it is - it didn’t disappoint, you can tell it’s all freshly made by the big give away of them making everything in front of you fresh to order. We took home some scones and tray bakes for our families- they went down an absolute treat! Apologies for the gushing first post, but when you find somewhere that’s as welcoming, and great food, you want to support them, especially with it being an independent business.

El mejor desayuno que he tenido en años. Bien de servicio, precios razonables para la calidad excepcional. Las salchichas eran increíbles.

We had a delicious Sunday roast: plenty of beautifully cooked beef and chicken and a tasty selection of vegetables and extras. Lovely friendly team offering very good service. Pot of tea was a little on the weak side so that was the only disappointment.

Whatever you do don’t order the steak pie.. either reheated or cooked from frozen. Awful, dry, fatty bits of meat. you’ve been warned!

Fab place for families and dogs. Lovely staff and food! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back soon.........
