If you get an opportunity give this place a visit ....what a gem 💎 Delicious breakfasts, lunches, cakes & Coffees The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the ambience is always spot on with perfect background music playing. On a nice day it is a real sun spot and great place for people watching!

Absolutely fantastic mushroom pizza from Baked on Board. Fantastic experience, sitting on the canal cut eating freshly cooked pizza. Thank you.

Absolutely delicious takeaway. Fantastic, tasty food at a fantastic tasty price! Onion bhajis, lamb madras, lamb tikka naaja, mushroom pilau (HUGE portion) AND complimentary poppadoms with a selection of pickles - less than £23.00!! Our first visit, definitely not our last. We WILL be back!

Brilliant cafe in a lovely area. Great place to meet up with family. Lots of parking, great views but best of all was the friendly welcome we got from the staff in the cafe AND an amazing breakfast. You looked after us so well, including our bull dog Bruce, thank you we will be back. V

Went with friends soon after the Bhurtpore reopened under new management. It looks very smart, and the menu also looked good. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The waitress had little knowledge of the menu or the drinks that were available. More training was needed. The decor, which looks really fresh and inviting, lacks any soft surfaces, which resulted in lots of noise echoing, making it very difficult if not impossible to hold a conversation at the table. When the meals arrived, 3 were as expected and were satisfactory. Unfortunately, my main of mussels were not. It was a very small portion for a main course, and the mussels were very small. In total, there were only 2 - 3 ounces of flesh in the whole dish. The accompanying cream sauce was very good, but the mussels should be the main event. I complained to Emma, who said that is the size of a main course and walked off, giving no further explanation and making no attempt to deal with the situation. I never have a problem when eating out if something is not up to standard, I realise that such things can happen, but it is how it is dealt with that matters and on this occasion it was not dealt with properly. That is the reason for my poor rating. Having been to the attached No18, run by the same management many times, the service and food have always been excellent. Hopefully, now the Bhurty has been open for a while, and their standards now match those of No18.

First time visiting Audlem. Me and the wife had a lovely walk along the canal and decided to have some lunch. We got to the pub about 1 with our dog. As we walked in we were met by a very interesting dog apparently called Stan the pub dog. He was very friendly and ended up sitting with our dog :) Not many were there but the locals were very friendly and we had quite a giggle with them. The landlord seemed a bit quiet and was on his phone a lot of the time. The beer was very cheap and not too bad. I think it was about £2.80 a pint and these days is very good. Especially as we went to the Shroppy Fly next a bit down the canal and the drinks were over twice the price. The food was very nice well cooked and again great value. The landlady did the cooking and was very polite . Thank you for a very nice few hours. We will be back.

After a busy week we decided to treat ourselves to dinner out. The Lord Combermere did not disappoint. We are a family of 4 and the staff were friendly and accommodating to us all. The children’s menu doubles as a colouring sheet which kept them busy whilst we looked at the menu. Our food came and was piping hot, absolutely delicious and very well presented. The portion sizes are very generous, especially the children’s, making it excellent value for money. Very attentive, helpful waitresses who advised us on which dishes were most popular etc. The dining area looks fantastic and had a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to return…

We attended the festival of transport in Audlem and called in for breakfast at the Bridge Inn. The food was excellent, big portions and very good value with coffee or tea refills. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we will definitely go back again when we are in the area.
