Bridge Crewe in Cheshire East

First time visiting Audlem. Me and the wife had a lovely walk along the canal and decided to have some lunch. We got to the pub about 1 with our dog. As we walked in we were met by a very interesting dog apparently called Stan the pub dog. He was very friendly and ended up sitting with our dog :) Not many were there but the locals were very friendly and we had quite a giggle with them. The landlord seemed a bit quiet and was on his phone a lot of the time. The beer was very cheap and not too bad. I think it was about £2.80 a pint and these days is very good. Especially as we went to the Shroppy Fly next a bit down the canal and the drinks were over twice the price. The food was very nice well cooked and again great value. The landlady did the cooking and was very polite . Thank you for a very nice few hours. We will be back.

Had a lovely meal, with my husband, daughter and mother-in-law, food was good. The place was nice and clean. Staff are friendly and . They made you feel welcome. Plenty of choices for drinks. Animal friendly

My family - 10 adults, 3 children, visited The Bridge Inn last weekend. All our meals were delicious home cooked food, piping hot with lots of fresh vegetables. The meals and drinks were very reasonable. The Sunday lunches and breakfasts are excellent too. You must visit this great pub.

Decent place for a quiet drink. Clean and tidy. Good range of drinks. Plenty of seating and room. Bar staff polite and helpful

Won a meal for two with a bottle of wine. Staff and locals friendly and inviting. Could choose anything from dinner menu and dessert. Steak and ale pie and chilli were very good sized portions and tasty (and reasonably priced if you were paying). Chips were gorgeous. Chocolate brownie and apple crumble both good also. Nice bottle of red wine. Quiet as it is a Wednesday night, bingo was just about to get started as we were leaving. Thank you for having us. :)

What a fantastic atmosphere with a mixture of local people and visitors from the nearby canal. They were holding a fund raising event for Nantwich & District Riding for the Disabled that was lively and great fun. The chips were delicious and drinks reasonably priced. Thank you to everyone especially the brilliant friendly Staff led by Richard and Sharon who worked tirelessly all day.

Fantastic food at a very fair price, and a great selection of beer, wines and spirits. They also have a pool table and a juke box, a lovely beer garden, host regular live music and hold a weekly quiz. Everything a local pub should be!

Always find the bridge inn very good value for beers and food their full breakfasts are excellent to start the day and served 8am till 10 . 30 nice outside area to sit overlooking the canal

The food in here was really lovely. I asked for no onions in my pasta dish which they could accommodate which showed it was freshly cooked. Great value for money also, and very reasonably priced

Lovely local pub and dog friendly. Me and my partner live in the village and we like to support our local community businesses, so when we heard that the Bridge Inn locally sources their meat from Audlem Butchers, we were very impressed and couldn't wait to try it. We went for our Sunday Lunch, good portion sizes, with plenty of meat and vegetables. You can tell the meat has been slow cooked, as it just fell apart and melts in your mouth. I really dont know where else you can get that quality of produce for the price! We have never known for the Bridge Inn pub to of closed its doors, like so many have unfortunately. Maybe there is a reason for this. I completely forgot to take a picture as i couldn't wait to get tucked in, but we will be back very soon, so will take one. I would definitely recommend. Give it a try!

We chose to eat here after a short walk along the canal one Sunday. When I rang to book the table I asked about vegan options as their weekly menu catered for vegans but was told "it's Sunday dinner - we can probably find some vegetables". Next I was told they'd do something for us (half our party are vegan). When we arrived the pub was quiet, quite welcoming, and nice staff. We were directed to the conservatory where a high chair was placed for our toddler. All fine so far. We ordered a beef, lamb and two veggie options along with an extra slice of lamb and a couple of extra potatoes for the baby. The food came quickly and the portion was very small. Big bonus was the veggie friendly gravy but the rest of the meal was very disappointing. The veggie option was fine but the meat in the roast dinner was fridge cold. Not just warmed and then cooled down but actually fridge cold. We sent our food back (only bonus for us was that we didn't need to cool down the bit we kept for the baby to eat) and a new set came, this time the meat was warm. The quality was pretty poor with the lamb more fat than meat (a different portion to that bright out initially). We'd never eat here again. The service was good but they really need to consider improving their food.

Eaten here 3 times recently, and thoroughly enjoyed their excellent fish & chips, which is nice and crispy, nicely cooked by the landlady, and great value.👍🏻 We have found the service variable in terms of quality of staff when busy, younger serving staff often forgetting...

How a pub should be, all welcome. We came to a musical event which was wonderful, and the pub made us welcome, as well as any number of other customers of all kinds, and a happy time was had by all.

When you hear that pubs are under new management you really have to go and check it out and try to support the new managers. More so in this area because there are three pubs in quite a small area. This place should do well...
