The best restaurants in Castle Carlisle North West

Always absolutely amazing food best place to eat in Carlisle only negative is that I finish work at 3 through the week and they are sold out by 2:30 with no surprise as their food is amazing. Return regularly for their yellow chicken!

Upon arriving in Carlisle we asked in a local shop at the bus station where the best coffee shop was. Just a five minute walk to The Good Sisters. What a lovely little place, I so much prefer these coffee shops to the big name brands. The staff were so good, happy to help. The food was great too. A nice selection, well presented and good quality. I had the Sausage Pattie Brioche Bun. It was tasty and to be recommended. Well done to all 🙂

Lots of choice, including lots of vegan donuts. Very friendly staff members. We come here quite regularly and normally buy a box of four. Also, some of the best jam filled donuts we've ever had.

Arrived at 1.45, there was a sign on the door to say it was open until 2.30. I was snarled at by an extremely rude person, saying "we're closed". Will not be going back.

Visited with my family , a much needed evening out. Had starters, mains, and desserts. All were amazing, nothing could be more perfect. The staff and service were brilliant. We love coming to David’s to relax & unwind. See you again soon!

A wonderful little Italian restaurant. The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly.

Pleasant atmosphere. Good food and wine. Quite hidden and tucked away in the heart of Carlisle.

Called in for a coffee and sandwich whilst visiting Carlisle. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Generous portions we had the egg mayo sandwich and club sandwich.
