Lots of choice, including lots of vegan donuts. Very friendly staff members. We come here quite regularly and normally buy a box of four. Also, some of the best jam filled donuts we've ever had.

I’ve been here twice now. The donuts are Dee-lish. My favourite is the Nutella one. The girl who works there is really friendly and enthusiastic. I hate when you go places and they’re like ‘next’ like you’re just a task they need to get out the way. I recommend going here and I will return.

The Market Hall is really becoming a fantastic place for food and The Fat Cow is a fantastic addition. The doughnuts look, smell and taste amazing. There are so many yummy types of donuts to choose from and they are a great treat for yourself or others (if you feel like sharing). The staff are friendly and can help you pick your donut if you're stuck between what they offer, or you can do what I did and just order more than one! I also want to mention the vegan Biscoff donut which is absolutely delicious and tastes exactly like a non-vegan donut!

I'd heard about this donut and milkshake place opening and thought- what a brilliant idea! It's the kind of place you wanna open when you're a kid and then think better of it- but why not? People like donuts and they like milkshakes- and the stall certainly seemed very popular when we visited. It's definitely a treat, not only because of the type of food but it's also not the cheapest. However it is worth paying a bit extra for because it's fresh stuff and there is a lot of choice (incl vegan and gluten free) and I don't think you'd get the same quality from a chain name. It's good that the market have chairs and tables available to eat at, and the area was clean and tidy, but it wasn't very warm or comfortable so having a heater and less plastic would help improve this. This stall is a great alternative to getting a coffee somewhere and it's great fun. You can't help but smile when you're looking at the display and deciding what to have. Great place to take anyone who has something to celebrate or needs cheering up. :)

Ordered afternoon tea to take away, to celebrate a special birthday. The ladies were so helpful and added an extra tea to the order when we needed to add an extra guest. All the food was made fresh on the day, and was absolutely delicious we had a fantastic afternoon.

Love Adeline’s cafe. The cakes are the best I have had anywhere ever and that’s saying a lot cos I eat a lot of cakes 😂. The host always has a bit of crack with you. The decor is lovely as well. Highly recommend for coffee and a cake or a lunch.

This Northerner drifted across this gem by accident and my word it did not disappoint him folks. Upon arrival I was made more than welcome by the lovely ladies who work there. They then ambushed me with the amazing food selection, I made a joke about asking them to read it out again (lol). I went for their new toasted tortilla parcel; a divine mixture of spiced Bombay potatoes, yoghurt mint, pineapple and relish. Fabulous. Coffee brilliant too. Would recommend to a friend and I'll be going back that's for sure.

Came upon this great cafe while on a day trip to Carlisle, from our weeks holiday in Keswick. Food was excellent - we had ham hero sandwich, bbq panini, bacon Brie panini and gorgeous homemade soup. All tasty- the side salad with the sarny was best side salad I’ve had after a week of cafes lunches in lakes. Nice friendly service🙂
