Really good bar. Amazing music and friendly staff. Cocktails are good and well prices and a great choice of drinks on tap.

Great light, airy place to sit with music and atmosphere but not too loud you can't have a conversation. We've been in for drinks and for lunch and both times staff are very friendly and helpful. Drinks aren't overly expensive, just the going rate. Food was excellent. Great portion sizes for the money without being excessive. Came quickly for a busy lunchtime service and the menu has some great choices not just the standard bistro pub offerings. All round great place to sit, eat and / or drink, will be back!

We were there last week for my daughters surprise 40th birthday, the staff were fabulous, making sure everything was ok for us, the food was the best i've had, anywhere! It all came together & it was hot (big Brucie bonus!) Thanks to you we had a lovely celebration for a big(ish) birthday.

Staff were so lovely!!! Very chatty asked us if we wanted water and extra drinks!! A man was a bit creepy too us and they made sure we were okay and he had left.

Great cocktails, fab wine and a fantastic atmosphere! We have had a lovely afternoon, thank you!

Friendly staff, great atmosphere.

Came in today with my daughter and husband for lunch and some drinks. The food was absolutely beautiful, some of the best food we’ve ever had. My husband and daughter had the stuffed Yorkshire puddings. The turkey was extremely moist and everything tasted delicious. I had the Asada tacos which were also gorgeous. Steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoned crinkle chips were lovely. We ended up also having a dessert each. We had a cheesecake, tiramisu and lemon posset all of which again were gorgeous! The staff were lovely and friendly and the drinks were beautiful that we had. This is such a good place to come and eat that offers a different selection of food than any other places in Carlisle. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic lunch at ‘This Time’, Carlisle. At first I didn’t think I was that hungry as I’d had a cooked breakfast, but after a nice pint of Helles, I couldn’t resist the Giant Yorkshire pudding turkey roast! Portions were tremendous and the gravy was hot and there was plenty of it!Spiced red cabbage and pork & cranberry sausages too! I’m full now and it was soooo worth it! Highly recommend!

Such a relief to finally have a Devonshire Street venue that has the inclusive and intimate atmosphere. The staff were second to none, coming up to us and actively offering us drinks upon spotting our every emptying ones - I understand that this reduces bar congestion but it's much more than that. It's care, it's due diligence that is so often overlooked in today's niche bar culture. Hat's off and a happy future to ThisTime, until NextTime x

Great Vibe!! This Time is a great place to have a drink. I have been a few times now with the wife and with large groups of friends and we always get great service and quality cocktails and beer. A nice level of music so that you can easily talk in a group without shouting 🎶
