The best slice of pizza in Carlisle ! Better than any restaurant and for a fraction of the price! I always ask for olive oil and chilli flakes 🔥 pepperoni + garlic chicken in my opinion are the best !

Pizza DELICIOUS. We took 4 slices, and 2 more after 😁 Zuegg juice - recommend to try, beautiful. Very friendly service, not too expensive if you think about quality!

We regularly come from Dumfries to get pizza. It's my son's favourite pizza. The homemade Tiramisu is great too!

They say the “Best Pizza in Town” and who am I to argue? It is great pizza and it is served Roma style so you can choose your slice and they pop it in the oven to be heated up. They are located in the Old Market Hall so the ambience is what it is. They do have a number of tables so if you eat-in you can watch the parade of people. They do a brisk take-away business. You can also order whole pizzas to eat-in or take-away. They have a selection of soft drinks and Birra Moretti. Romano Pizzeria is a taste of Italy right in the midst of Carlisle.

Situated inside the indoor market in town centre. By far the best pizza joint I have ever been too. Huge selection of slices & calzone . Seriously tasty, and an absolute treat to go to. All pizzas are freshly made from scratch, and you choose your slice of choice. They are really filling. Great value for money. You'll never want to go to any other pizza place ever again. Trust.

Had a quick lunch here on a Saturday. Both slices of pizza were excellent and really good value. The service was quick and friendly. It's a takeaway place really but there are plastic tables you can sit at opposite. Definitely worth a visit.

Pizza comes without tomato sauce, which was a surprise. Apparently you need to add it as an extra topping. Is not mentioned in the delivery page on uber eats. Quality of products poor.

Greatness in a slice!! Honest this place is so good. I’ve eaten pizza at the famous Joe’s NYC and on the Neapolitan Gulf and this place really is up there with the best of them. Pizza by the slice, or full pizzas it is just the best. A must for the pizza lover when in Carlisle!

We come to Carlisle every couple of months to visit relatives and when we're in town my daughters beg to eat here. Lovely, fresh baked, unpretentious, authentic pizza and arancini at reasonable prices. "This is 1000 times better than MacDonalds". Apparently.

Amazing pizza! I came here as I'd heard so many people tell me it was the best pizza in Carlisle and that is absolutely true- I now come here most days on my dinner break for a slice of Garlic Chicken pizza and a fantastic Italian coffee. The staff are so incredibly friendly and fast and attentive, and today I was given a little unexpected gift which made me so happy. Thank you!

I bring my family here whenever we visit Carlisle. The people who run the place are lovely and the pizza itself is incredible, just like in Rome. Also like Rome, they’re the only place I’ve seen locally that sells Suppli, a Roman style of arancini. Overall, a great place.

Without a doubt the best pizza in Carlisle. Closest you'll get to authentic Italian pizza around here. Big respect to the owners for sticking to their roots. Will always return.

Prior to COVID, I was blessed to travel to many places famed for their pizza - New York City, Chicago, Naples. None of them have come close to this small Cumbrian stall tucked away in Carlisle Market. I can honestly say it is by far the best pizza I have ever tried. Freshly made with the finest of ingredients; the flavour, smell and texture are all perfect. Sometimes the stall can get busy, but I guarantee you it is worth the wait. Grab a slice and drink and enjoy people watching - it is perfection. My only issue is they have to close! Please please open late so I can get Romano pizza for takeout at night!!!

Not been in the market Hall for a long time now and I didn't expect to see this! It's not often I get memories brought back from my holidays to Italy. But the unbelievable taste of the pizza brought all the memories back. Amazing pizza at great prices. Lots of selection to choose from including fries etc and also a little area to sit in and enjoy your chosen foods. Would highly recommend to anyone. Either eat in or take away.

Uber let us down completely but Romano’s re made our order and delivered on their way home. It was my partners birthday meal and everything was perfect, Arancini’s, pizza and cannolis. Thank you so much

You will not find a nicer, cleaner or more enjoyable pizza than here. They might not have the topping selection like a typical takeaway, but it is authentic and the quality blows it away. Don't get bad pizza, eat here during the day instead. If they opened a evening takeaway they would make a killing. I always compare my pizza exp to here and nothing else compares in Carlisle.

Fantastic food, especially the pizza. Incredible coffees...especially the Irish coffee (the best I'd ever had). The staff are one of the friendliest we encountered and RIGHT beside the beach. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.
