Amici Miei in Carlisle

Have been getting pizza from this place for years but they must have changed hands. Had an ordinary pizza a month or so ago but just put this down to a busy night? No…….. just had another one delivered and not the same quality products that you pay the extra for coming here instead of the fast food guys. Until Amelie Mei lift their game. Save your money people!

My household and extended familyb get takeout at least twice a month. The pizzas are a favourite, especially the Ortalana which is vegetarian but my meat loving family still love it. Plus they have vegan cheese and are dietary needs aware. Friendly and cheerful hard working business. The outdoor area at the front is nice too

It’s lost its appeal since the original Venetian owners left. The Margherita pizza has cheese evenly spread which - not nice pieces of fresh mozzarella. The texture also suggests it’s not fresh mozzarella. The caprese salad did have generous slices of mozzarella, but no fresh basil - but dried flakes. It feels like an echo of what this place once was.

This is a joke! I just ordered off Uber eats from this place, and they have given me one piece of chicken on each slice. no fresh tomatoes or basil on the margherita pizza, just a weird micro garnish in the middle. the dough is chewy not cooked properly cost me $53

A gem! Must try Italian restaurant. Pizza so good, pasta is yum (forgot the name of my pasta) but its creamy yet feels light, tiramisu tastes so good with a generous cut.

Food was alright, atmosphere wasn’t pleasant when some staff talking really rudely to other staff and you know the language.

Not huge on the pizza - I'm into oldschool Aussie pizza. But the pasta was absolutely f'king amazing. I had a gnocci gorgonzola and it was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Also had the chocolate/strawberry calzone, which was also great. Couldn't recommend more highly.

A wonderful discovery in Carlisle. Me and my husband tried the gnocchi Gorgonzola and the San Daniele pizza, the food was delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommended if you are in the area.

Horrible experience! Ordered a chicken parmigiana and it was smaller than any kids meal I have ver ordered in any restaurant, even though it was a regular meal, not a kids meal. The restaurant didn’t take any responsibility for it, and Uber eats didn’t allow the refund. Totall rip-off!

Très bon accueil, Léa qui est très agréable et qui arrive à s’adapter au delà de la barrière de la langue. Les pizzas sont top, belles, bien garnies et très bonnes.

Arrived just 10 minutes before closing, and the waitstaff graciously accommodated us. The food was simply amazing! A hidden gem in Carlisle - we'll definitely be back for more.

Amazing experience, the food was delicious (ordered pizzas, a pasta, and a salad) it is also byo!! Lea was our waitress and she was so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place as a neighbourhood italian restaurant at a good price!

Absolutely AMAZING place to go for dinner, and the Tiramisu was definitely the cherry on top 🤩. The veal scallopini with a side of beef carpaccio was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Would definitely be recommending to my friends and family, and look forward to going back soon.

Great pizzas, very quiet atmosphere

I had a dinner with my friends, the food was very very good special pasta’s. I will definitely recommend gnocchi gorgozala it was really fabulous. I try their pesto pizza that is delicious. I try first time wood fired pizza it is really different in flavours and taste.

Great food with fast friendly service. Food was made fresh and arrived promptly at the table without a long wait. Most nights it's best to make a booking as tables fill up really fast. They have a decent selection of non alcoholic and acholic drinks available for table service. There is a small area for alfresco dinning

Just came across Amici Miei on a random Wednesday night. Great traditional pizza, great price. And a lot of Gluten Free options.

Can't rate service or atmosphere really as take away. Beautiful soft gnochi sauce could have been a touch thicker for my taste and pizza was delicious although a little pale cook for my taste but all in all great food.

never do reviews good or bad on restaurants but cannot let this one go, absolutely terrible got the eggplant Parma it was burnt and hard the tomato sauce was so rich and overpowering. others with me got pasta dishes they said were OK but the servings we're so small I couldn't believe it definitely overpriced for the size. 3 kid size meals and 3 beers cost $100 . walked out with a smile but wish I had said something and refused to pay for a below average meal . will not be back very disappointed.

How can you ruin a simple meal like carbonara ? Absolutely disgusting. No taste just spaghetti . Ordered chicken no chicken. Just spent over $70 on order with two dishes so this is why in today’s economy I’m letting you know how dissatisfied and disappointed I am. And waste of my money, your a Local restaurant and I’m not ever ordering anything again even the garlic bread was ridiculous. Trash in the bin ordering HJs now

One of my newly found favourite Italian restaurants, Amici Miei is that inspirational combination of amazing food with a small family owned feel that is warm, casual and inviting. The pizza is some of the best I've had in Perth, which we opened with for a shared starter. My main was a spaghetti marinara which was just mouth watering with beautiful and addictive charred smokey undertones layered in. The squid was a touch tough as the pasta is served piping hot but that is a very minor mention in an otherwise amazing dish I would happily eat everyday for the rest of my life. The kids pizza was made with the same love as what the adults had and our little six year old couldn't have been happier with her meal. The tiramisu is a must for the dessert - it comes out intimidatingly large but dig in and you'll find it beautifully light and fluffy. After the first bite you'll be fending off invading forks with gusto. A wonderful finish to a great family dinner.

The food was good, the place too. But the service of the girl who works there was HORRIBLE. I don’t recommend this place to dine in there. Best option to pick it up. Was the First and the Last.

One of my friend has suggested me this small but beautiful place. I’m a fan of wood fire pizza & this place has not let me down. Owner was personally taking care of us specifically to my toddler. I support small businesses & frequently visit to them. This place is a new addition in my list. Good luck

One of the worst pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Undercooked and missing ingredients. Rang the store and was at least offered a replacement or refund - Didn’t want either. I just won’t ever be ordering from this store again.

This restaurant is my new favorite place! The place itself is beautiful and has such a home-y vibe, great layout too... We ordered two entrees and two pizzas and dessert, down to the last crumb everything was delicious!!! Highly recommended, especially for anyone looking for a quite warm dinner.

Unfortunately my experience with Amici Miei was really disappointing. I ordered 2 pizzas, 1 garlic bread and 2 drinks through uber eats but only received 1 pizza and the garlic bread. When I called the restaurant they immediately blamed the uber driver, which I found really distasteful. I received no apology, I was just instructed to get a refund from uber eats and reorder the second pizza. There was no regard of the fact that my friend and I were now eating separately, the delivery fee I was now going to have to pay again or the huge inconvenience caused. On the back of all this, the garlic bread was tastless and dry and the Hawaiian pizza had 3 chunks of pineapple in total and quite frankly did not taste that great either. I won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered two takeaway pizzas for dinner and sadly despite the Google rating, we were disappointed. Pizzas were overly cheesy and both tasted the same with very little flavour other than cheese. Dough was nice and pizzas were cooked well but unfortunately thats where the positives ended.

Went there tonight with the family first time there absolutely delicious food absolutely recommend

Just ordered uber eats, got some gnocchi, pizza, garlic bread and arincini. Hands down the best Italian I have had in Perth. I'm the first to complain when something is not up to par. Had to call the restaurant to thank them for an amazing meal. We will be regulars from now on. 5 stars. Sorry no photos, was gone before we could take some!

I'm not usually one to complain about Italian restaurants as it's pretty difficult to screw up pasta and pizza, but this has gotta be some of the worst pasta I've ever tasted. Got the Duck Ragu and Carbonara. The ragu wasn't the worst but it had the texture of tuna... They used canned meat perhaps? And was a little bland. But the carbonara, oh my god I did not know you could screw up carbonara so bad, I would've even been happy with some expired Dolmios straight out of the jar, but this was something else. The sauce was a watery grey colour and was literally just copious amounts of salt and pepper. Like INSANELY salty it was so bizzare as if the lid had fallen off the chef's salt shaker and he didn't notice. Went straight into the bin. Never again.

Pizza was very good, I ordered take away as you can see lots of cheese and nice toppings and very tasty. Toppings moved a bit but that's one since my car seat was at an angle and all that melted cheese just slid to the side

Very tasty food With good prices

I had really average food here. I had the fettuccini lamb ragu pasta and it only had about 2 teaspoons in total of lamb mince, with a tomato tasting sauce and overcooked, extremely soft fettuccini. It was a huge disappointment that I could have replicated taste-wise for maybe a tenth of the price. Only upside was that it was (temperature) hot and edible.

Quality has taken a massive drop recently. Last two orders have been pretty bad tasting with the bases burnt. I suspect new owners have taken over?

Average at best. Ordered takeaway. Do note that I live less than a minute drive from here. Considering that, the veal was still very chewy/tough, and while the pizza was alright, nothing fancy that could earn any titles. All in all, good attempt but given the cost of the meal and the quality received, two stars for me.

We've had a couple of great meals here now! Delicious pasta, love the arancini and fantastic service! Would definitely recommend - love sitting outside on the decking with the family (kids demolished their pasta too and asked to go back the very next night 🤣)

We ordered San-Daniele Pizza, i didn’t expect that it was that good. The portion and the amount of Prosciutto was quite good and worth the price. Will definitely go back to dine 😊

We've ordered from here a few times and it's been alright, until tonight.. Previous orders include: - Mediterraneo pizza - base was nice, but hardly any toppings, was a bit disappointed - Tagliolini with ragu - really nice flavour, good serving - Baked gnocchi Etna - very flavoursome, slightly smaller serving but perfect as it's very rich And then tonight I ordered bruschetta and eggplant bites. For $12 you got 3 eggplant bites and they didn't even taste like eggplant. I feel like I've been ripped off as they were the size of a squashed golf ball. And the bruschetta was inedible. The bread was amazing but the topping was absolutely disgusting (even though they used cherry tomatoes!), and it didn't even taste like bruschetta. More like pepper overload with 2 tiny pieces of fetta. It was so bad that I threw it out and made myself crumpets for dinner... Don't think I'll go back here unfortunately

I've ordered two pizzas take away and they were actually not good at all , the tomato was dry , looked like it was old and the ingredients not very fresh. That's not the way to make italian style pizza I'm sorry. I won't be back for sure.

Pizza was a bit blend. Pasta comes in very small portions and hardly feels like there's any meat.

Ordered two pizzas and some arancinis, all of it arrived cold, the arancinis were tasteless microwaved balls of rice and I am still looking for the chicken on the chicken pizza. Very disappointed to pay $70 for that. Would have been better getting frozen pizzas from the supermarket.

The pizza is all right. Been here twice . First times we did order pork scallopini it was so dry. Second times did order pasta&lamb ragu, it was the worst pasta I ever have sauce taste like came from the can with little mince lamb?! Not for $25. Won’t be back

Tonight was my first time coming here. Wasn’t a place I had heard of before. Hand down the best arancini I’ve had in a very very long time. The pasta was also good, and the lady that served us was lovely.

We used to love this place. Since the owners changed, the quality and quantity of the ingredients have dropped significantly and continue dropping further with every order. Both pizzas and calzoni are always completely different from the photos on the menu, and food arrives always lukewarm. We have tried already few times but it doesn't seem to get any better :(

We used to love this place when it was run by the beautiful Italian family. After the owners changed, we've tried it a handful of times and have been disappointed every time. The last time was the worst which lead me to writing this review. We ordered the gnocchi Gorgonzola take away and got a small take away container that was less than half full for 26 dollars. We were shocked!! 26 dollars for basically 10 individual gnocchi in a thick sauce... Never again!

Exceptional authentic Italian food, an absolute treat

We tried the pizza's during the week and were blown away how nice they were. So then we stayed for dinner on the weekend and were blown away again. Meals are fantastic! had the Penne with mushroom and Duck Ragu both of which were excellent. Service was great. Will be back again soon.

Woodfire pizza was good, pizza was thin but still maintained crispy base. Normally base is soggy with these thin pizzas. Delicious

Always runs late with food arriving much later than the promised time. No apologies, and poor service. Third time now and every time food has been extremely late.

Usually I’d only give good reviews, but this one I feel needs to be seen in order for services to improve. I’ve been there three times and the wait time from when you order and receive the food keeps increasing. Last time it took us an hour of waiting, only to have food served too hot or too burnt. Otherwise the options they have is great. The atmosphere is pleasant and authentic. Maybe order on the phone in advanced when you want to visit the place. They seem to have a lot more Uber eats orders than anything else.

Ordered online via the website a a while ago and paid. Then receive a call saying they do not have any delivery drivers tonight.. And I am welcome to come in and pick up the order. Ok number 1.. this is extremely incompetent of a business claiming they deliver pizzas. But hey I bit the bullet even though it was extremely inconvenient to come in, hence searching for a delivery..I went in. I was told my pizza would be ready in 45 mins so I came in 45 mins later and was told my order would be another 20 mins.. there were no other pizzas except the second pizza on my order and nobody in the restaurant. And whats even worse there were delivery drivers there leaving as I arrived (not Uber eats). It was upsetting and I made a note never to order from here again. However I stupidly decided to order agsin last week. Big mistake. Made the order online and paid, the same as last time. I receive a phone call saying they do not have the gluten free base which is on my order. Once again there is a problem.. And if I would like to be refunded and it will take 3-5 business days to return in my account.. So I agreed. This was a week ago now and called several ti es and keep getting told someone will call me back.. Still no one has called back. Extremely depressing what a great business this once used to be and how it has now been run into the ground by mis management, a total disreguard for its customers and rude brush off service Looks like its going to the ACCC as this is not the first time a business is breaching its legal obligations to its customers and needs a wake up call thaf they are to continue and be successful, and not just a hang out for staff to refuse business to its customers. This is coming from someone who has 20 years experience in the local hospitality scene. Not good guys get your you know what together.

Great food highly recommend, service awesome.

It's OK but won't order again. Pizza tasted good but it was lukewarm on arrival. We microwaved each plate for 20 seconds to get them to a good temperature. Online delivery website did not inform me we were "out of area" or that there would be a $7 delivery charge. I was called later on my mobile and I was told we are "out of the free delivery" area and it would cost $7 extra but this was after I had already paid for my order (this is not a good experience because I felt locked in at this point). I was offered a 10% discount if I picked up the pizza (which was an $8 discount), so effectively the price difference was $15 between pickup and delivery. $15 is WAY too much to be charging for delivery, even if we are slightly out of the area and given we paid $15 for delivery, the pizza should have arrived very hot.

Friendly reception. Accommodated us even though short on staff. Good food! Nice venue and clean. Not sure whether parking will be an issue as I only saw the front and parking was in the street.

We've given up on placing online orders from Amici Miei Non Solo Pizza. We've tried to be understanding and have provided direct feedback to Amici about problems with orders in the past but I'm still continually disappointed with issues with our orders and they don't seem to care. It is a real shame as when the order is correct and arrives in a reasonable timeframe the food is generally great. However, we've had order notes missed, wrong items received, items missing completely and excessive wait times. Last week our order which was placed at 6:46pm was then cancelled by them at 7:01pm and then this week we thought we'd try again but ended up waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes for a basic order for two people. If you're too busy to accept online orders and process them in a reasonable time frame, then turn the ordering system off and don't accept the order.
