The best restaurants in Talbot Blackpool North West

Awful experience, went out for my birthday with friends, we didn't book so waited 25 mins for a table which was fine, we expected that. but when we got back there were no staff to be seen, when someone finally came over they told us we would be upstairs, went up and there was only 4 tables being used so no idea why we had to wait. we sat down and tried to order and the app was not working so went up to the till. ordered our meals and went and sat back down. At no point anything was mentioned that they had ran out of anything or missing anything. 10 mins past and my friends get their food, another 10 and mine and my partners still hadn't arrived, we then heard the waiters on the stairs saying "your just gunna have to tell them we don't have any or its a 25 min wait. a few mins later he finally comes over and tells us they didn't have any chicken ready?? on a Friday night at 7pm you had no chicken?? we said just give us a refund as we had another thing to get too and were on a time limit. the manager appears and chats to the staff at the till for another 5 mins before approaching us with a cash refund? wasn't even offered to put back onto my card which is what i paid with. The place is filled with children running in and out and children running the place. My friend approached the manager and he gave us a free meal but to be honest, i don't think i want to return to this one and i can only use it there? Overall worst experience i have ever had in a nandos, this branch really lets the rest down.

Am staying around the corner small restaurant with good service I had my usual chicken and sweetcorn soup followed by prawn in bean shoots with fried rice which was hot and enjoyable

I liked it here. Nice traditional feel, cosy, very friendly staff. Victim of its own success, though. Too busy, and you're literally very up close and personal, squeezing past anyone and everyone on your way to the bar or the toilet

Food was nice. Service was horrendous. Glasses for drinks came out soaking wet. When asked for them to be replaced we got huffed at. No manners from staff, clearly hated working there.

Lovely food, ordered a cookie dough and a brownie was 10/10. Lovely servers and quick service too.

The tables are dirty and sticky. The service is below criticism. The counter is not loaded. They easily handle a "sorry about this". Joke! I worked at Subway, in a good place, with the right staff. Don't come in here! It's worth walking 5 minutes to the other!

A free brekkie for two as part of our 55.00 Hotel room deal at niros hotel. Really good price, food was cooked perfectly and the cafe area at the back of the chippy was excellent can not fault anything.

We had a very good family meal on a very busy Saturday night. We basically went because we couldn't find anywhere at 8pm that was suitable. It was really busy and I expected to wait a long time for our meal. It took less than 20 minutes to come and the food was very good. I was very impressed with the staff, how they were coping with a totally full pub and still performing professionally. Well done all at The Albert and The Lion, we'll be back. 😃😃

Went for breakfast twice and drinks on and off as we were stopping just around the corner. Food took an age to come out and was mildly warm. Nice though - just cold. Drinks cheap. Service hit & miss at the bar. Some really dodgy smelly people queuing to get in at 0800. But we were in at 0800 as well so not judging at all. It's a Wetherspoons. Some better than others. This is one of the not better ones.

Steak was lovely..rump 8oz ..could do with more fries..other than that it was lovely..ribs were very nice .. also burgers were tasty

Went here for tea on an evening I. Blackpool with my two sons. We were greeted by a very friendly person and seated straight away in a booth next to the window. The menu had lots of choice. We chose pulled pork burger, half roast chicken, loaded potato skins and some onion rings. We ordered and paid at the bar and the staff bought us our drinks and food. The portions were huge and everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. It’s also reasonably priced too. Would definitely come back when in Blackpool.

We arrived on Saturday to find a huge queue!! This was partly due to the fireworks competition that was due to take place that night. However, we were seated fairly quickly. The noise in the arcade you walk through was almost unbearable, but when we were seated, it felt more peaceful. My wife placed our food and drink order (3 adult meals, 1 kids meal). These arrived in good time, despite the restaurant being full. Fish and chips, hunters chicken, kids fish fingers and chips, and a sharing platter. Apart from the kids meal being on the small side, the food was very good indeed. Not much interaction from the serving staff though. We have been here previously, and would happily return again.

Food tasted chemical. Not fresh. Hardly any choice. Very very disappointed. Staff not helpful. Avoid!!!!!
